About: Hi! I'm Jessica, and I've always been a dog person. I volunteer with Lifeline Animal Project and Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, where I've spent time with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing tug-of-war, or just curling up on the couch for company, I'm happy to meet them where they are. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust, and I'll care for your dog as if they were my own. I'm reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I'll make sure your pup gets plenty of exercise, affection, and updates while you're away so you can relax knowing they're in good hands. I work from 7a-3p Monday - Friday and can come home for lunch - I'm a 10 min drive away. Your dog will get (a minimum of) a morning walk, afternoon walk and evening walk. Dogs with more energy will get outside playtime. I'll be with them throughout the late afternoon and evening. They will get a walk before bed. Your dog can sleep in my bed and I will be with them the entire time on the weekends. I will keep your dog company, make sure they get exercise, mental stimulation, and lots of love. I’ll send you pictures daily of our time together.

We have a older kitty whose been abandoned twice by previous owners. He's never let either of us out of his sight for more then a few minutes, and we've never left him home alone for more then a few hours, and always taken him with on our trips. But this past weekend we had an important trip that we could not take him with! So I came to Rover looking for someone close by who could help us out. Lo and Behold, I discovered Tara who just happens to live in the same apartment complex as us and she LOVES cats! She came to meet ours, and he connected with her almost immediately so we hired her to come visit him while we were on our trip. We could tell from the pictures she sent us, that he was VERY happy to see her with each visit she gave him, and it certainly gave us some peace of mind knowing he was being well cared for by such a wonderful person! Madison is a certified cat lover! You can tell in the care and excellent service she provides. She offered detailed updates of each visit including pictures of food and bathroom habits. Communication was a little tricky at times. Overall, I am very pleased with how well my 2 babies were cared for thanks to Madison! I would certainly recommend her cat care expertise to anyone.
Courtney has been absolutely the best! She was able to accommodate me on short notice while my pup was recovering from being sick, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
