About: As a longtime cat lover and cat mom myself, I know every cat has their own personality, comfort level, and little quirks. My cat Salem is a 2-year-old long-haired cat who started out super shy and nervous, and now she’s turned into the sweetest little purring machine who never leaves our side. Because of her, I’ve really learned the importance of patience, gentleness, and letting cats warm up to people on their own terms. I genuinely love spending quality time with cats, whether that’s brushing them (for the kitties who enjoy it!), playing with them, coming up with fun enrichment activities, giving treats, or simply hanging out and keeping them company while their humans are away. I know some cats want nonstop cuddles and attention, while others just appreciate a calm presence nearby, and I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. I also don’t mind the less glamorous parts of cat care at all. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and bed to be comfy anywhere (Whatever will make them most comfortable! I'm also a pushover and let the dogs I sit climb all over the couch, bed, etc., so please let me know if your dog isn't allowed on these things at home and don't want them getting any bad habits!). We live close to Brookhaven Park, where the dog (s) can be taken for a nice walk and/ or play. We will be constantly aware of their safety, well-being, and comfort level. We also know how stressful it can be leaving your fur baby behind while you are away, so we will send you tons of pictures to reduce the distance between you and your pup in every possible way. You can count on us to take care of your dog while you're away. I am currently working from home so I can take doggies for a walk any and every time is needed. Dogs will be supervised all the time. I have a medium-sized balcony and a puppy to keep your dog company, and exercised. I can also easily crate your dog if needed, I have two large play pens so they would have tons of mobility while separated from other doggies.

About: I have had two dogs and one cat: an 11-year-old Bichon Frise, a Chihuahua who passed away at 17, and a cat who is now four and a half years old. I got my first dog when I was 11 years old, and from then on, I spent all of my allowance on my pets’ spay/neuter surgeries, routine checkups, treats, and supplements. I have an unusual amount of patience when it comes to animals, because I grew up in a family that truly loves them. I also have a lot of experience caring for very young pets under two months old, as well as experience being around large dogs. My work schedule is three days in the office and two days remote, so I have plenty of time to do the part time job during the week. When I take care of pets, I focus not only on their physical needs, but also on making sure they feel emotionally cared for. I like to keep a regular routine for them every day, including dedicated playtime and treat time. I also often buy them new toys and talk to them about my day, even though they may not fully understand.
