“Hunter was a fantastic companion to our big senior goofball GSD/Black Lab mix Frank. She stayed with Frank in our home for four nights while we were out of town, and sent pics and updates via text the whole time. Frank absolutely adores Hunter, even taking his meds straight from her hand without having to hide them in food! Hunter is friendly, personable, professional and easy to work with. We will be booking with Hunter again in the future, for sure!”

“Aaliyah was amazing! She took excellent care of my kitties, giving them lots of love and attention, and she gave me regular updates and photos so I knew everything was going ok. Would definitely recommend her and work with her again!”

“This was the 2nd time Jordan stayed with our dog and two cats and we have been more than pleased both times! She is communicative sending pictures and updates daily, leaves the house straightened up and clean, and was even willing to water our garden and bring our trash cans out and back while we were gone. Millie, Milo, and Cali were VERY loved and cared for while we were gone. 5 stars!!!”
“I had Fallin come stay in my home and take care of my energetic corgi and kitty. She was a literal dream. For the entire week she kept up with perfect communication - letting me know every time they walked, ate etc. I also got multiple pictures everyday and by the end I could tell the animals were just as comfortable at home with her than they are with me. My house was also left exactly how we left it, and she was very respectful of our home. I will 100% be using Fallin again and I feel so relieved I found someone I trust so I can be more relaxed away from home.”

“Very pleased with Sidney. She was easy to work with and communicate with. She sent lots of pictures and dogs always looked happy. We came home to a clean house and healthy and happy pups. We'll definitely reach out to her again.”
“Gabriyela is phenomenal with our fig and in our home. She cares for Chloe as if her own dog. She sends photos and messages to reassure us that all is going well. I appreciate that she cares for our home well, too. I trust her completely!”

“I am always nervous to leave Rhea but Christina was great! She sent daily updates and asked questions when Rhea needed some extra allergy meds. I look forward to booking her again!”

“Sivani was fabulous with our dog and home. A week before we were leaving, she asked for specifics regarding feeding and vet contacts. She walked our four legged girl often, sent pictures, took her for a ride and snuggled with her. I threw in a few extra requests and she happily helped me. She was extremely professional and kind. She asked questions when needed.”

“Natalia took amazing care of our dog, Scout. She sent frequent updates and pictures of our happy dog. Thank you for the excellent communication. We came home to a very clean house too. Thank you Natalia!”

“Cynthia did an absolutely fabulous job caring of our 4 month old puppy, Kira. She was kind, professional, patient - and gave us incredibly helpful advice on training techniques. Kira missed her as soon as she left! Cynthia will be our first call the next time we go out of town. Cannot recommend highly enough.”

“Taylor is great with my Allie, and we are so glad to have found her! She is very responsive and it gives me great peace of mind to have her care for my furbaby. Definitely will continue to have her as my top choice for Allie!!”

“Sherri did an amazing job with our two dogs. She was so warm and welcoming. She was super attentive to all our notes and had great questions. She was super communicative through the whole process.”

“Ashely was great! She was took great care of our girl and sent me updates and pictures. She even took her out for an outing and a car ride. I highly recommend Ashley!”

About: A pup in my care is treated like my own. I typically will take them out and about such as the trail near my home, lots of loving and stern understanding through our time together. I work from home so I have all the time in the world to walk the pup every two hours, feedings through the day and scratches behind the ear often. I live alone with a fenced in backyard with cameras in and outside my home. The pup is allowed on the couch and bed. Your pup will be comfortable in a smokeless home.
“Jessica is amazing! She takes great care of our two huskies. They love her!! Also, our house is extremely clean when she leaves. This is the second time she has stayed with them. We plan to ask her to stay with them again soon!!”

“Kayla did a great job caring for my dog Piper and my 3 cats. It's always great to find someone you can trust to care for your pets and your home. Even my shy cat Annabel came around which she rarely does with sitters. It's great to have peace of mind knowing someone is taking such good care of our beloved pets.”

“Sara did a wonderful job taking care of our Willow and house! With Willow being reactive, she was kind enough to come for 2 meet and greets for her to get comfortable and was so patient. Definitely recommend and will be booking in the future!”

Sidney did a wonderful job watching our boys. She was communicative, responsive and showed endless amounts of love to the pups that came through in all of the pictures and videos she sent. She took great care of the home while we were away and we would absolutely book her again to house sit for us.

Kaleigh was great with my puppy Phoebe! My pup seemed to really like her and Kaleigh was there to keep her company all day which I really appreciated! She sent me updates throughout the day and I came home to a happy pup! All I can ask for and more. Thank you again!

Hunter was very accommodating to my anxious cat. She was very understanding and patient with her, which I appreciated. She also made sure to keep me updated with pictures every day and let me know how she was doing while I was out of town. I will definitely be booking again in the future.

Chelsie is amazing! Super communicative and took care of my baby Phoebe. She took her for a walk while she was house sitting , made sure she was happy all day, and left the house clean! Also was understanding of a last min change I had to make which I greatly appreciated. Thank you for everything Chelsie!

Alina stayed in our home and looked after our dog and two cats for about 2.5 weeks while we were out of the country on vacation. I was nervous leaving the pets alone for so long but the regular pics and updates Alina shared really helped put my mind at ease. Not only did the pets look relaxed and happy with Alina but Alina also left our home in great shape - everything was left very clean and tidy which was greatly appreciated.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Peachtree Corners walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Peachtree Corners maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Peachtree Corners choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
