Safety, trust & environment
Safety,Trust and Environment Safety: We understand how nerve wrecking it can be to leave your pet while you are on a trip. Thats why we put safety as our number one priority. We have taken coursework through IBPSA(International Boarding and Pet Services Association) in dog behavior, dog temperament, and sanitation/prevention of canine diseases. As well as been CPR and First Aid trained for Canines. We also never leave pets unattended since we know that a pet can be injured within a matter of minutes. Trust: We believe that it is very important for you and your pet to trust us. We require meet and greets for all first time clients so that we can answer all questions and be able to meet your dog. This gives your dog a sense of familiarity and comfort once they return for their stay. Environment: This is big for us, we are not a large scale boarding place but instead a home focused one. Our home is comfortable and safe for the pups. We have designed it to be open and have plenty of cots and dog beds. We also have large stainless steel bowls of water for the pups at all times. Your fur babies will have access to our main living areas and rooms during the day (excluding our bathrooms/laundry room/kitchen) and will be crated overnight. We have found that using a kennel over night rather than nightly free roam provides the most security and safety for yours and our fur babies. Some clients prefer to not crate due to their home routine and/or crate anxiety. We need to make sure that all pups boarded are crate trained and are not prone to severe separation anxiety as this may lead to overnight injury. We also have a HUGE gated backyard where the pups have potty breaks. But we also have playtime and love sitting out on the patio with the pups. We enjoy playing fetch with the pups and on warm days having a water day.

Information Alyssa & Zachary J. would like to know about your pet
Every client needs to have an emergency contact listed either on Rover or fill out our Emergency Contact form so that we can place this in your dog's file. This Emergency Contact will only be contacted if there is an emergency for your dog and we can't reach you. Also, this person will be the only person besides yourself that can pick up your dog. Every client needs to list all current vet information and send us proof of their dog/s vaccination history. (This must be done 24 hours before you drop off your pet) We do not accept dogs that are not fully vaccinated since we have pets of our own. This also means we do not take puppies under sixteen weeks since they are not fully vaccinated. We request that all of our clients list any allergies that their dog has so that we are aware of this. If your pup/s are on any medication, we request that you label it correctly and print out clear instructions for each medication. We can do any pill medication, mouth medication, and insulin shots. We need to know if your dog has a history of anxiety in new places and if they like to jump fences. This is important because we need to ensure that your pup/s is never in danger of escaping our yard. And if they are, we will have to have them on a leash every time they go outside. (We never leave any pets unattended in the backyard)
A typical day
Typical Day: We are up with the dogs each day by 6am unless it is the weekends then we are up by 8:30am. Then we will do walks for our clients that allow us to take their pup on a walk. Then we usually feed the dogs however we try to keep all our clients dogs on their specific schedule so that they don't have an upset stomach. Then we have playtime and usually some of the pups nap around this time. I also do playtime and regular potty breaks outside and in the summers we may even do water activities. Then I normally do an enrichment activity in the late afternoon. During the afternoon I will make occasional calls since I work from home (Only half days) but I have my office desk set up right in our dog play room so I will be in the same room with them. Then by evenings Zach is home and we sometimes do an evening walk and dinner time for the pups. As well as potty breaks. And we wrap the evening up by 10/11:30pm.

Pet Care in a Home Environment
Pet care experience
***PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING*** 🏠Photos of inside our home are available for viewing on our profile🏠 We have more than 8 years of pet sitting experience (Both dog and cat care). We are a member of IBPSA(International Boarding and Pet Services Association) as well as being insured and bonded plus hold a kennel license. I (Alyssa) have worked as a Veterinary Assistant and have my Veterinary Technology degree. My partner Zach and I are home full time with your pups. I will make sure I take down the instructions you give word for word because I understand how frustrating it could be to get a pet sitter who did not follow instructions. I am a vetted pet sitter, and I run my business with my partner (Zach). We are looking forward to meeting your fur baby/babies and treating them just like they were our own including lots of enrichment during their stay ❤️ **COVID-19 Update** We are both vaccinated. We use social distancing outdoors for drop off and pick up, but are still offering boarding and daycare in our home. We also are accepting drop-in clients as well. WE ARE ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS after an outdoor only meet and greet.(If it is a day before request or last minute we will schedule a call to go over the material we would in a meet and greet) Thank you for understanding!
Reviews

Alyssa and Zach were awesome! This was my first time bringing my frenchie puppies for grooming and Zach and Alyssa handled them with so much care and concern. They provided me with some tips for how to care for our dogs’ sensitive skin and were incredibly kind. My girls came back, smelling great, looking neat, and in great spirits! We will definitely be back. Thank you, Alyssa and Zach!

After weeks of searching for the right professional groomer for our Goldendoodle, Bella, we finally found exactly who we were looking for. From the very first text conversation with Alyssa, I knew she and her husband were the right people to care for our fur princess. Alyssa truly listened to my concerns and even invited me to share before and after photos of Bella so she could better understand my expectations. Grooming a Goldendoodle takes skill, patience, and experience. After Bella's longtime groomer left, the replacement unfortunately left her coat looking choppy and uneven. We were determined to find someone who could restore Bella's beautiful look. From the moment we arrived, Bella was comfortable with Alyssa and her husband, which immediately put my mind at ease. We discussed our goal of getting Bella's coat back to the beautiful trim she once had, and it was as if Alyssa could read my mind. She understood exactly what I was hoping for. Throughout the appointment, Alyssa kept me informed every step of the way, and the final result exceeded my expectations. Bella's coat looked absolutely beautiful, her trim was flawless, she smelled amazing, and she even came home wearing the cutest new bandana! I was so excited that I took Bella to Home Depot so all of her friends and admirers could see her new look. I was also proud to recommend Alyssa to others and happily shared her information on Rover for future referrals. The beautiful photos Alyssa sent afterward were the perfect finishing touch. Bella looked so happy, and the smile on her face said it all. Thank you, Alyssa, for your kindness, professionalism, exceptional talent, and the genuine love and care you showed Bella. We are beyond grateful to have found you and are so happy that you'll be Bella's groomer every six weeks. If you're looking for someone who will treat your pet like family while delivering exceptional grooming services, I wholeheartedly recommend Alyssa. Bella and her mom couldn't be happier! A million thanks! Fondly, A. Reynolds Bella's Mom 🐾
