About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 10. I dog sit regularly for friends and family, and do so because I love animals so much! Friends and family rely on me to walk, feed and love their animals for up to a week or so at times. This varies between dog and cat sitting at my home or house sitting at their home. Ages of pets range between 10 week old puppies and kittens to 10 year old dogs and cats. I have the extreme luxury of working from home Monday-Friday. About: I’ve grown up owning both dogs and cats my entire life. I have owned both big and small dogs and more cats than I can count on one hand who have lived long loving lives. Have a lot of experience taking care of senior dogs and cats, have taken care of friends’ older dogs many times. Right now I am a student on break so I have plenty of time to care for pets! My schedule is very flexible so there aren’t too many time restrictions for when I am not available. For dog care I typically prefer to keep the dog in the same room with me as much as possible, unless told otherwise. Just wanted to add that since Sarah started with us in July, she has not only been an awesome sitter for our dog, but she has also been a very conscientious house guest. She’s noticed when we have loose planks in the fence, poisonous plants in the yard, and even found a missing key fob. We really appreciate having found such a kind and helpful sitter!
Candela is such an amazing dog sitter! She came over to meet Auggie ahead of her first time watching him. She gave him lots of cuddles, refilled his water, and gave him multiple opportunities to go outside while I was away at work. She is a great communicator and followed all of my instructions. Auggie was visibly happy in the photos she sent and clearly became quick friends with Candela! Very glad to have found her to take care of Auggie on a weekly basis! Highly recommend!!

She gives him his insulin shot, and I know he’s in great hands. It’s hard for me to find people who my senior dog will warm up to, and let them give him his injection.
