“Gabbie is great! My pup is pretty shy and going through some health concerns. Gabbie was attentive to what my dog needs, has been consistently on-time and has built up trust with her in the span of a week. Sadie seems really excited when Gabbie comes by and seems to enjoy their mid-day play sessions!”

“Mikayla took great care of my kitties while I was out of the country. My younger cat is especially wary of new people, but even she was snuggling up to Mikayla.”

About: I have had a dog in my life since I was born. But I have been dog sitting for other families for many years watching over multiple dogs and just one. I have trained my own puppy and took care of my senior family dog. I am starting to work part time while I am studying for my board exam. I will be a fun break from studying to spend time cuddling, playing, and walking a dog or a cat. I love to let dog sniff cause it’s a good time for there brain to work. I want to be able to take a break and get activity throughout my time studying I want to make sure the pet is safe and can’t get anything to hurt themselves. I never leave pets unattended with toys or treats that are a choking hazard. I want to create a clam environment for them to make them feel as happy as they can
“Kristen was amazing! She did a great job interacting with my cats and getting them fed (which can be difficult). Kristen is very kind and made sure she followed all instructions left for her. I highly recommend her if you need a pet sitter. Not only did she keep us updated on how the cats were while we were away, but she sent us pictures of each one at every drop in visit she made.”

“Latasha looked after our kitty (Lazare) and house for a week in July. She was very professional and courteous. She took the time to write down instructions on our meet and greet. Lazare loved her! I appreciated her communication and photos and she also took good care of the house and plants. I wholeheartedly recommend Latasha.”

“Katie did an incredible job with my dog Hank. Her attention to detail and what matters to you was amazing. Katie even brought in my packages and my trash bins from the curb. I would highly recommend you use Katie for your next pet needs as I will definitely be asking for her again. Thanks Katie you were exceptional.”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I can remember, be it hamsters, rats, lizards, dogs, cats and even a parrot, I’ve been there. I’m currently in school looking to make some extra cash so let me know if you have a pet in need of care! I’d love to meet them. Experience includes: Dog walking for multiple clients (5+ years), pet sitting (5+ years), work at a dog cafe making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable (2+ years), and lots of experience owning and caring for exotic pets! I have a remote internship this summer so my schedule is completely flexible around your pets routine (and I have plenty of time to take your dog on long walks and outings) I care for pets in clients home only, as I am currently living at home and it’s a full house here pet-wise! But I’m a very considerate/clean guest and happy to stay in a clients home for however long is necessary.
“Virginia was so thorough in her care with Champ! I loved the frequency of updates and felt happy to know my old guy was safe and well attended to. I especially loved the sweet portrait shots she got of him and the daily puzzles. Thanks Puff!”

About: My first and foremost goal is to care for you pet the way I would want someone to care for mine. I’ve lived with many animals over the years and I’m never happier than I am with pets. Your pets happiness is my first priority, I offer in home visits to give them some necessary love and attention as well as dog walking services to help get their energy out.
“Heather was a Rock Star!! Smokey Bear developed a problem on the day we left on Vacation and after my son took him to our vet to diagnose the problem, she excelled at taking extra care of him - making sure he took his pills and everything else that was related to his problem. She has been his caregiver for several years and he's so fond of her that when we come back home he barely notices!! She's a wonder.”

“Ellie was great with our dog! It seems to reduce our little guy’s anxiety to have her come by & spend time with him. Ellie us very reliable & conscientious m. I highly recommend her!”

“Anne was absolutely wonderful with our four month old puppy. He loves meeting new people, but is still very energetic (and teething). She was very patient with him and added in lots of playtime to tire him out. We will be highly recommending her to friends and family in the area!”

About: My nature is very gentle and welcoming. I have diverse experience from new born puppies & kittens to elderly cats and elderly dog of all sizes that need special care and attention. Taking care of pets with a big personality, that are high energy is no problem! I am good with all animals! I am a part time student and I have a lot of free time to care for others. I take walks daily with my dog, she is very social and walks very well with other dogs. Also if you’re dog needs one on one attention from me I can do that as well! The little things are what separate good work from great care. Any specific requests even the tiniest detail will be cared for and followed as requested.
About: With a lifelong passion for animals and two cherished dogs of my own, I bring extensive pet care experience to every interaction. From walks to playtime, I will prioritize your pets well-being and happiness above all else! I believe that one of the core principles to being an above average pet sitter is not only loving care, but mental stimulation through games and activities! Having cared for my own dogs into their elderly years, I’m now animal first aid certified and comfortable with all stages of life. I’m a college student with about 4 hours of free time in the middle of the day between my morning class and afternoon class. I’m available to hang out with your furry friend between my classes usually and all evenings, so long as I’m able to also get my work done! I can provide daily walks, play time and snuggles for your pet! When entrusted with the care of pets in clients’ homes, I prioritize creating a comfortable and nurturing environment for the animals. I closely follow the instructions provided by pet parents regarding feeding schedules, exercise, and any special needs. I ensure a clean and hygienic living environment through cleaning up accidents, regular potty breaks depending on your dog’s size (smaller dogs usually need to go more frequently) and litter box cleaning. Beyond the basic care, I try to engage pets through playtime, walks and even just companionship. It’s important to maintain their mental and emotional well-being in their owner’s absence. I also regularly update and communicate with clients to reassure them that their beloved companion is in caring and capable hands.
About: I allow the doggie to decide on their day of course following what routine you have set for them. I will Vlog so you can see what a true doggie star they are! I have a massage/pet caregiver business in St.Louis, Missouri and Taos, New Mexico that only I manage! I've cared for Great Danes to Pugs from puppies in potty training to females in heat. I treat them as they are my own and always adhering to their routine. Booking me "Animal Planet", belly rubs, and fun will be in your future (wiggle wag wiggle wag wink) Thank you, dawn I currently work part time as a massage therapist with a very flexible schedule. I will try and arrange potty breaks close to what your pet is used to but there will be days I can be gone up to fours hours. I treat your pet as you do and keep them on their routine. I always have a pet on a lead unless they’re in their own backyard. I usually have them stay clear of other animals and children since they’re are extra anxiety’s due to owner/parents being away. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rock Hill
Sarah was a wonderful dog sitter for our two older large dogs. She is warm & caring. Sarah was prompt on her visits & sent great pictures of our dogs. We felt very relieved to know that they were being so well taken care of. We will definitely use her to watch them in the future!
This was my first time using Rover to have someone check on my dogs. I was a bit nervous of how it would go since my dogs get scared easily of new people, but Karen was very patient and attentive with them and overall did a fantastic job! She provided updates during each of the check ins and bonded with the dogs as the days went by. I would 100% recommend Karen as a dog sitter and if I need someone to watch my dogs again using Rover, Karen would be my first choice!

Anne was absolutely wonderful with our four month old puppy. He loves meeting new people, but is still very energetic (and teething). She was very patient with him and added in lots of playtime to tire him out. We will be highly recommending her to friends and family in the area!

Emily was so trustworthy and kind!! She took such great care of our two dogs on short notice, making sure to give them plenty of love, walks, playtime, and following our complicated pill and feeding routine. We have never felt so comfortable leaving town and will definitely ask for her help again in the future!

We had a great meeting with Tori. She was calm and easily worked with our anxious pups. Tori also befriended both of our cats - even the one who never makes an appearance for guests. We are confident that we made the right choice working with Rover and especially Tori.

E was fantastic in taking care of my high maintenance pup! She was friendly, communicative, punctual, diligent, and followed the exact care instructions provided. My dog is a high flight risk and my booking was somewhat last minute, but none of that was an issue and she was professional throughout. I will definitely be booking her next time I need a drop-in or pet sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
