For several years I worked and lived on various animal farms- all of which had/bred livestock guardian dogs that I worked very closely with. I am experienced in senior care and administering medications (including injections) to all sorts of animals. I work for myself doing residential carpentry and remodeling, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m usually available for last minute bookings. I also never work very far from home. Your dog’s comfort and safety always come first. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and even the bed if that’s what they’re used to at home, and I have several dog beds set up around the house too. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I only recently, in the past couple of years, started taking care of other people’s pups, and I really enjoy it. I treat all pups as if they were my own. I am retired. I play pickleball quite a bit, but I am never gone more than a few hours at a time. My husband works from home, so there is almost always someone around to accompany your pup. My favorite part of the job is showering pups with love. We have mattresses on the floor and if the pups are willing, we love to snuggle with them. I typically walk them 4 to 6 times a day, depending on the wants/needs of the pup and the weather. I will be sure to check in multiple times daily with you and send photos and videos. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine — whether that includes crating, free time, training reinforcement, or extra snuggles. My schedule is can be flexible at times, though it may adjust slightly as work picks up. I do volunteer on Monday afternoons, but I’m always happy to communicate and make sure care aligns with your needs. For safety reasons due to an injury, I’m unable to walk dogs that pull hard on leash — but happy to still chat to see if I’m a good fit! If you’re looking for someone experienced, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about dogs — whether they’re a tiny puppy, an energetic adult, or a shelter favorite — I’d love to care for your pup like one of my own 🐶💛 Currently, my schedule is more flexible but that will change within the next few weeks because of work picking up.
