“Kristen was amazing! She did a great job interacting with my cats and getting them fed (which can be difficult). Kristen is very kind and made sure she followed all instructions left for her. I highly recommend her if you need a pet sitter. Not only did she keep us updated on how the cats were while we were away, but she sent us pictures of each one at every drop in visit she made.”

“I've had Katie watch our cats twice now, our cats love her, and they always seem to be taken care of very well. I definitely recommend Katie for your pet sitting needs.”

“Claire took great care of our dog, Monte, who can be a lot to handle. We were sent pics of him playing on her visits and he looked very well cared for! She was extremely thorough on her visits making sure he was good to go before leaving.”

“Haley was exceptional. She is an A+ communicator who provided thorough updates and great pictures after every visit. She proactively asked what was necessary to keep our animals safe and gave each of them individualized care. It is clear she truly loved our pets, and they loved her in return. As a bonus, she kept a watchful eye on our house and left it well organized. Haley is a gem, and we will absolutely use her again. Thank you, Haley, for taking such wonderful care of our little ones!”

“Eleanor was fantastic. She reassured us with the report cars and photos. We have older cats so more concern about going on vacation. I highly recommend Eleanor as she clearly loves fur babies. Thank-you!!”

“Natalee did an excellent job caring for our cat, Gordie 😽. She visited twice daily, provided fresh water and food, kept the litter pan clean and gave Gordie lots of attention. We highly recommend her for anyone needing a cat sitter.”

“Alicia took great care of my cats when I was out of town! She was punctual, respectful, and communicated well from the moment I sent the booking request. I came home to happy cats, highly recommended!”

“Katie looked after my 3 cats for drop in visits and was excellent! She was able to do medicine for the little one and everyone was happy when I got home.”

“They did a wonderful job caring for our pets while we were on vacation. They kept us updated on their behavior and reached out when any issues came up. Would definitely hire again for future pet-sitting needs.”

“Kiffin is responsive, caring, and goes the extra mile to take great care of my pups! Appreciate having her to help get them into a routine at their new home. :)”

“Anya was amazing with our 14 week puppy. She knew exactly how to help us stay consistent with potty training and teething. She was communicative and always on time. We will miss having her when she goes back to school!”

“Michael and Beth were great with our two dogs. Mike came over each day for 10 days while we were half a world away in Hawaii. It was so reassuring to know they were in goods hands while we were so far away. We will definitely book Mike again when we need him.”

“Hope is always our first choice cat sitter. She is consistently reliable, kind, communicative, and competent. We appreciate her so much. She even left a bonus toy for the cats during her last visit which they love!”

“Hayle was gracious enough to take my almost last minute 3 day booking when my friend (who usually checks in on my boy) wound up having to go out of town for the second half of my trip. We had enough time for a quick meet n greet and got things squared away before I left. I feel like I didn't give enough info about my boy and probably forgot things for her when she came here. In spite of that, she did a fantastic job and my boy was taken care of while I was gone. Thanks so much!”

“This was my first time using a pet sitter and it couldn’t have gone any better. Danny and Jennifer were wonderful! They’re very communicative and let me know exactly what was going on with my older dog and sent lots of pictures. It really set my mind at ease knowing she was being so well cared for. 10/10 would highly recommend them.”

About: I’ve taken care of family’s and friend’s dogs for as long as I can remember. I am a very active person, so I love taking dogs on walks and helping them get their energy out. I’m currently in an online graduate program, so I have a very flexible availability throughout the week. I can help with your animals anytime throughout the week! I care for pets by making sure the area they are kept in is clean and safe for them. Keeping your animals safe is my #1 priority.
About: I have had pets and taken care of other's pets for most of my life! I absolutely adore animals of all kinds. I have been house/pet sitting for the last few years on my own but I'm trying to expand my client base and meet new furry friends! I also have lots of experience with cats! A large portion of my clients prefer overnight stays but I am willing to do drop ins as well. I'd love to hear from you soon. I currently work part time and my schedule is pretty flexible. With notice I can make sure I am able to spend plenty of time with your babies! I have done some house sitting before and never had any complaints! I am also very responsive and I will take good care of your pets and your home. No worries!
About: Hi, I'm Gracie! I do home remodeling & carpentry things for work, but my number one passion is in taking care of animals. I also travel pretty frequently and because of that, I’ve found this platform invaluable. So aside from wanting to meet and hang with your cute pets, I’d love to return the favor and help out fellow pet owners! Especially in those dire, last minute boarding/sitting situations. (been there 😅) Growing up, my family fostered retired racing greyhounds so I’m very comfortable around sensitive and unsure dogs. For several years I worked and lived on various animal farms- all of which had/bred livestock guardian dogs that I worked very closely with. I am experienced in senior care and administering medications (including injections) to all sorts of animals. I work for myself doing residential carpentry and remodeling, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m usually available for last minute bookings. I also never work very far from home. Your dog’s comfort and safety always come first. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and even the bed if that’s what they’re used to at home, and I have several dog beds set up around the house too. I also have a large crate available if your dog needs a quiet, secure space to settle into. I keep a close eye on dogs at all times, dog-proof the areas we’re in, and make sure fresh water is always available.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Rock Hill
I can leave town without worry because I know my cats will be taken care of by Samantha and Christopher. They always go above and beyond to take care of our cats. They also watch my family members senior dogs and do a great job. Also they send lots of pictures of the animals and give detailed updates which I really appreciate. 10/10, will absolutely book again

As always Heather is great with both our cats - the new one who loves to help her with all the activities she's doing (the litter, feeding, etc) and the old one chats to her the entire time about he can't believe we left him (AGAIN) with the new one who is now his cross to bear all by himself.

Linda was AMAZING with our Luna (who is a bit of a troubled feline.) I felt so comforted after our official meet and greet, and knew she would be in good hands while we were away. Luna didn’t act out at all while we were away which was a great. I appreciated all the communication and photos Linda sent us to keep us up to date on how Luna was doing. Would absolutely love to use her again when needed!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Rock Hill. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
