About: I have had pets and taken care of other's pets for most of my life! I absolutely adore animals of all kinds. I have been house/pet sitting for the last few years on my own but I'm trying to expand my client base and meet new furry friends! I also have lots of experience with cats! A large portion of my clients prefer overnight stays but I am willing to do drop ins as well. I'd love to hear from you soon. I currently work part time and my schedule is pretty flexible. About: Empathetic and caring towards pets. My first pet was a fish, named Cogi. Since then I've had a gerbil, dog (bichon frise) named Casso, and now have two cats (littermates - part maine coon - Sage & Chowder). (been there 😅) Growing up, my family fostered retired racing greyhounds so I’m very comfortable around sensitive and unsure dogs. For several years I worked and lived on various animal farms- all of which had/bred livestock guardian dogs that I worked very closely with. I am experienced in senior care and administering medications (including injections) to all sorts of animals. I work for myself doing residential carpentry and remodeling, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m usually available for last minute bookings. I also never work very far from home. Your dog’s comfort and safety always come first. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and even the bed if that’s what they’re used to at home, and I have several dog beds set up around the house too. I also have a large crate available if your dog needs a quiet, secure space to settle into. I keep a close eye on dogs at all times, dog-proof the areas we’re in, and make sure fresh water is always available.

Sarah, just like last time, did a FANTASTIC job with our boys. She left hilarious notes and my husband and I are always so amused by how spot-on our cats' behavioral notes are with how we know them! The first day of check ins this go around, our eldest cat Pip had a flare up of a chronic condition (cystitis). Sarah noticed RIGHT AWAY and let us know. She had to leave for another sitting job after I gave her some instructions on how to make him comfortable, but came back later in the day to take him to a vet appointment to make sure he did not have a urinary blockage and to get pain management to help him through the flare up. She also made sure there was space on her schedule to come back 2x a day for the rest of our trip to make sure Pip got his pain meds until we got home to take care of him. I hope she never quits because idk who else I'm going to be able to trust ATP to give our boys top notch care while we're out of town!
