Anna can care for
Availability
I do walks and drop ins most days and can range anywhere from 2-10hours depending on the day and time of year. I do have one to three built-in breaks throughout the day that I use to check on the pets I’m doing overnights for, so even on heavy work days, I don’t leave your pets alone for too long. However I can’t accept bookings for pets who can’t be left alone for at least 5 hours.

About Anna P.

Safety, trust & environment
I am very cautious and prefer to keep eyes on the pet at all times to ensure their safety. I am always careful about opening the door, checking that leash/harness is on properly, making sure there’s nothing laying around the pet can get into or chew up, making sure the doors are locked, etc.
Information Anna P. would like to know about your pet
Information I would like ahead of time would be any medications, allergies(including dog shampoo or skin issues), if they have ever had a seizure or relevant health issue, if they will try to escape a crate or pen, if they are dog, people and/or food aggressive, and especially if they have ever bitten a human or other animal.
A typical day
I love to allow the pets to do whatever it is they find the most fun and stimulating! For some dogs, they prefer to walk short distances but smell all the smells or do lots of people-watching. Some dogs prefer a fast paced, long distance walk. For cats, I always work on their terms while encouraging them to play, but never forcing it if they aren’t interested.

Experienced & caring pet sitter!
Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of animals since I was little! It has always been my biggest love and passion. Professionally, I have been dog and cat sitting for 6 years and have my own private pet care licensing and insurance. For 2 of those years, I have been running my business full-time. Before being a full time walker/sitter I worked as a dog bather and dog daycare attendant. I have experience with all sizes and ages! I have worked closely with many different temperaments. Including reactive dogs, anxious dogs, unfixed males, puppies, kittens, seniors, deaf, blind etc. I understand dog and cat body language and know the correct and incorrect ways of interacting and caring for them. I am also experienced with rodents, fish tanks and some reptiles. I can’t wait to meet your pets!

Reviews

Anna always goes above and beyond. I know when she is watching my fur babies, I don’t have to worry at all. I’m so grateful for her!

Anna always takes the best care of our babies while we are gone! It really takes the stress out of traveling ❤️

Anna had a lot of patience with our cats and even cleaned up an unexpected barf! So glad we had her checking in on our kitties!
Anna does such a great job taking care of our kitties and it gives us such peace of mind when we are away! Highly recommend!
