“Kristen was amazing! She did a great job interacting with my cats and getting them fed (which can be difficult). Kristen is very kind and made sure she followed all instructions left for her. I highly recommend her if you need a pet sitter. Not only did she keep us updated on how the cats were while we were away, but she sent us pictures of each one at every drop in visit she made.”

“Gabbie is great! My pup is pretty shy and going through some health concerns. Gabbie was attentive to what my dog needs, has been consistently on-time and has built up trust with her in the span of a week. Sadie seems really excited when Gabbie comes by and seems to enjoy their mid-day play sessions!”

“Emily was so trustworthy and kind!! She took such great care of our two dogs on short notice, making sure to give them plenty of love, walks, playtime, and following our complicated pill and feeding routine. We have never felt so comfortable leaving town and will definitely ask for her help again in the future!”

“Katie looked after my 3 cats for drop in visits and was excellent! She was able to do medicine for the little one and everyone was happy when I got home.”

“Jenni was great looking after our doodle while we took a little weekend getaway. She did everything we asked and made sure to send pics so we know how our Arya is doing.”

“Hope did a wonderful job checking in on my Marca. Sent a bunch of pictures for me and communicated clearly what she did while at my place. Would book again!”

“Ellie was great with our dog! It seems to reduce our little guy’s anxiety to have her come by & spend time with him. Ellie us very reliable & conscientious m. I highly recommend her!”

“Heather is always so wonderful with our two orange floofs! We always feel so much better about leaving them knowing she is visiting and taking care of them each day!”

About: I grew up with dogs, and have numerous years of experience dog sitting, doing check ins and walking dogs starting from about age 12, as well as volunteering at Open Door Animal Sanctuary. My current dog is a rescue from Mexico. He is very laid back and stoic, and is an AKC certified Canine Good Citizen. However, my dog growing up was reactive, so I have experience with dogs of that temperament as well. I have recently moved back home from San Diego, CA to Webster Groves after 8 years. I am taking time off from working in public accounting to study full time for my CPA exams. As such, my schedule is extremely flexible. As an overprotective dog mom myself, I fully appreciate how difficult it can be to entrust your dog to someone other than yourself, so rest assured I will be on high alert at all times.
About: My nature is very gentle and welcoming. I have diverse experience from new born puppies & kittens to elderly cats and elderly dog of all sizes that need special care and attention. Taking care of pets with a big personality, that are high energy is no problem! I am good with all animals! I am a part time student and I have a lot of free time to care for others. I take walks daily with my dog, she is very social and walks very well with other dogs. Also if you’re dog needs one on one attention from me I can do that as well! The little things are what separate good work from great care. Any specific requests even the tiniest detail will be cared for and followed as requested.
About: Empathetic and caring towards pets. My first pet was a fish, named Cogi. Since then I've had a gerbil, dog (bichon frise) named Casso, and now have two cats (littermates - part maine coon - Sage & Chowder). I have enjoyed times when I volunteered with child care and senior care facilities in the past as well. Always enjoy spending time with and connecting with pets. Rarely if ever meet any pet I have difficulty connecting with. I'm currently self employed, studying for MO real estate exam & license, and often engaged in other opportunities on the side as well. However, despite my busy schedule at times, I am quite proficient at juggling tasks, maintaining physical & mental health, eating healthy, exercising when possible, and still prioritizing pet care in the midst of it all! I can bring toys, treats, food, litter or anything needed, but am not currently boarding pets at my residence. I will do everything I can to make your pet(s) feel comfortable, clean up after myself and any pet(s), and keep you informed of anything out of the normal.
“This was our first time working with Caroline. What a pleasure! Easy, to the point, great communication and care of Stella. Thank you for giving us the peace of mind she is in good hands. I definitely recommend her!”

About: I have had pets and taken care of other's pets for most of my life! I absolutely adore animals of all kinds. I have been house/pet sitting for the last few years on my own but I'm trying to expand my client base and meet new furry friends! I also have lots of experience with cats! A large portion of my clients prefer overnight stays but I am willing to do drop ins as well. I'd love to hear from you soon. I currently work part time and my schedule is pretty flexible. With notice I can make sure I am able to spend plenty of time with your babies! I have done some house sitting before and never had any complaints! I am also very responsive and I will take good care of your pets and your home. No worries!
“Allison did a fantastic job taking care of my Cat when I was called away for a last minute trip. I was very nervous since this was my first time using a sitter but Allison made us very comfortable while we were away. Highly recommend her for any pets that need some love while your away”

“Bennett was so great with our two "high energy", playful, cuddly cats! It was clear how much he genuinely enjoyed spending time with them as if they were his own. Was so happy to have found him and would recommend him to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Madelyn was on time. She has a great pet caretakers personality and caring attitude. She got it right, and we were not worried about our furry friends one bit. Thanks for a job well done.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Glendale
Sarah made a series of drop-in visits during a particularly busy week at work. She was on-time, communicative, and sent thorough report cards with photos at each visit. It was my first Rover experience and she made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be booking again!

This was my first time using Rover to have someone check on my dogs. I was a bit nervous of how it would go since my dogs get scared easily of new people, but Karen was very patient and attentive with them and overall did a fantastic job! She provided updates during each of the check ins and bonded with the dogs as the days went by. I would 100% recommend Karen as a dog sitter and if I need someone to watch my dogs again using Rover, Karen would be my first choice!

Anne was absolutely wonderful with our four month old puppy. He loves meeting new people, but is still very energetic (and teething). She was very patient with him and added in lots of playtime to tire him out. We will be highly recommending her to friends and family in the area!

Emily was so trustworthy and kind!! She took such great care of our two dogs on short notice, making sure to give them plenty of love, walks, playtime, and following our complicated pill and feeding routine. We have never felt so comfortable leaving town and will definitely ask for her help again in the future!

We had a great meeting with Tori. She was calm and easily worked with our anxious pups. Tori also befriended both of our cats - even the one who never makes an appearance for guests. We are confident that we made the right choice working with Rover and especially Tori.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
