About: I have always had a dog and cat in my life (and still do!). I have been using Rover for two years and I don't seem to want to stop anytime soon. I have trained two golden retrievers and walked a lot of puppies, senior dogs and many ages in-between. One of my own dogs was awarded canine good citizenship before my children were born. I love being around animals and I have a caring nature. Now that my kids are getting older, it fits my need to get exercise and bring some joy into my life. I would love to give your pet some snuggles, snacks and I am always mindful to send lots of photos to ensure you can relax while you are away. I know that is what I would want as a pet owner. Some people think you have to either be a "dog person" or a "cat person". Not me! They both have a place in my heart for very different reasons. Cats take some time, but I love their comforting purr, the playfulness of spunky kittens or just petting their soft fur. Some owners simply just someone they can trust for a check-in. I am happy to provide the details needed so you can be OK while you are away. I am typically available in the afternoons as long as I don’t have a meeting scheduled (I work from home) and most evenings are available. Weekends are the best time to book care if you will be out for soccer games, dinner or long evening plans. I have kids as well and I have used Rover for 6+ years on my own pets. I am excited to return the favor to you now that my kids are older. I have used crates with my own pets during training and I will follow whatever safety instructions are needed. I understand all collars, how to avoid run ins with feisty dogs and other concerns you may have. I know how to troubleshoot dogs that like to find hiding spots or have the ability to slip out of the door. I am 40+ and I am raising tweens at this point, so I have a little wisdom under me that other walkers may not have at this point. I am also trustworthy. I have a great full-time job coupled with flexibility. I just want to combine my love of pets with a little extra income.
“Sonja was so accommodating. She was very flexible, helpful and patient. I liked that she offered a meet and greet, provided photos and updates. I could tell my Lady enjoyed her stay.”

“Reema was a wonderful host! She took great care of our dog and made us feel completely comfortable while we were away. She is very kind, friendly, and has a lovely backyard where our dog had a great time playing with her dog. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing our dog was in good hands. I highly recommend Reema and would be happy to leave our dog with her again in the future. Thank you so much! 😊🐾💕”

“Axel came home happy and healthy. I got several batches of photos along the way while I was traveling that showed axel enjoying his time with Sarah. Would definitely book again!”

“Anya followed all instructions well and made sure my baby Wes had his meds on time daily every morning! Very friendly, reliable, and wasn't phased by all the very detailed instructions I had printed out. Definitely recommend!”

“Jessica was great! Communicated well before and during the drop in visits. She cared for my cats as if they were her own, my cats also LOVED her and felt very comfortable. I plan to rebook with Jessica in the future for any other needs! Also she took the cutest photos of my fur babies!!”

“I cant say enough how amazing Eleanore was with my cats. She is very observant and noticed the water bowl wasn’t working. She immediately texted and did a video call so I could see the problem. She played with our babies and loved on them. I was so nervous leaving, but I was pleasantly calmed when i saw the first interaction of Eleanor and my cats. Your babies will love her.”

“Natalee was an exceptional sitter for our cat Sally. She was communicative, kind and attentive. I will definitely be using her services again, and was one of the best sitters we have had since using the Rover services 5 years ago.”

“Katie is the best! She took great care of my senior car, was always on time, and the house looked great when we came back! Would definitely recommend / book again. :)”

“As always Heather is great with both our cats - the new one who loves to help her with all the activities she's doing (the litter, feeding, etc) and the old one chats to her the entire time about he can't believe we left him (AGAIN) with the new one who is now his cross to bear all by himself.”

“Alicia did an amazing job with my kitty cat while I was overseas for a week. She communicated well, sent plenty of pictures and updates, and overall made it easy to not have to worry about my sweet girl while I was away and 8 hours ahead. She was also super respectful of my Pinto’s cautious and aloof tendencies which ultimately made my cat more comfortable overall. I came home to happy healthy cat which is all I can ask for. I definitely hope to book with Alicia again in the future.”

“This was the first time we used Rover; I’m so glad we found Michael & Beth for our 20 year old cat. Mike was so attentive to her needs and mindful of her disabilities - we were able to get away for Thanksgiving, confident that our furry girl would be fine.”

“Claire took great care of our dog, Monte, who can be a lot to handle. We were sent pics of him playing on her visits and he looked very well cared for! She was extremely thorough on her visits making sure he was good to go before leaving.”

About: Furbabies have a special place in my heart, although I love all animals. I have taken care of various friend's and family member's pets including cats, dogs, bearded dragon, fish, and would be open to consider other types of animals depending on their needs and my availability. I will ensure clean water, food on time or as needed, and pristine litter areas are accessible.
“Samantha and Christopher were awesome! They took such good care of our 2 cats and sent us tons of pictures with a blurb for each visit telling us how they were doing. I would absolutely use them again!”
“Kiffin always goes above and beyond for our girl. She will clean up any messes that our pup made while she was alone, always gives her what she needs, and had even been known to stay a few extra minutes for our girl sometimes! It’s Kiffin or no one for our household!”

“Hope did a wonderful job checking in on my Marca. Sent a bunch of pictures for me and communicated clearly what she did while at my place. Would book again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I only recently, in the past couple of years, started taking care of other people’s pups, and I really enjoy it. I treat all pups as if they were my own. I am retired. I play pickleball quite a bit, but I am never gone more than a few hours at a time. My husband works from home, so there is almost always someone around to accompany your pup. My favorite part of the job is showering pups with love. We have mattresses on the floor and if the pups are willing, we love to snuggle with them. I typically walk them 4 to 6 times a day, depending on the wants/needs of the pup and the weather. I will be sure to check in multiple times daily with you and send photos and videos. I am very quick to respond to messages!

“This was Cooper’s first time with Lucy and although he was nervous at first that was very short lived! I really appreciated the way Lucy worked to make him feel comfortable before I left. I could tell he was thoroughly enjoying himself in the videos she sent and when we made it back home he barely made it through the door before passing out! Would highly recommend :)”

“We did a half day of daycare with Marie as an introduction (first meeting). Everything seemed to go great, and our pup was happy at pick up! We definitely plan to use Marie in the future.”

About: I’ve been up around animals my whole life and have experience with all different types. I’m comfortable with pets at every stage, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m reliable when it comes to sticking to routines, whether that’s specific feeding times, multiple daily walks, or just giving your pet the attention they’re used to. I genuinely love spending time with animals and will treat your pet like my own while you’re away. I work remotely, so I’m home throughout the day and able to give pets plenty of attention, potty breaks, and playtime. I also go on several walks throughout the day for dogs that need extra exercise or energy release. I’m available for boarding in my home, as well as drop-in visits and check-ins throughout the day depending on your pet’s needs and routine. I have a fenced-in yard where dogs can safely run around and explore, and I always make sure pets are supervised and comfortable while in my care. I’m happy to follow any feeding schedules, medication instructions, crate routines, or special requests to help your pet feel at home. I can care for pets at my house or make visits to your home throughout the day to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible.
“Jeanne is amazing! I have been bringing Jett to her for a few weeks now and she is so good with him. Not only does she genuinely care about him, she provides regular updates throughout the day and I can see how much fun he is having in her care. He has even developed social skills and is learning new things under her care. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I highly recommend Jeanne to anyone who needs someone they can trust to take good care of their best friend.”

“Judith was amazing and communicated well throughout the entire process. We felt our dog was in great hands with her and know he was super spoiled. She went above and beyond and sent us daily photo and text updates. We will definitely be booking with Judith again in the future! Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and will make your dog feel right at home. I treat every pup like my own with tons of love, attention, and playtime. Your dog will also have fun hanging out with my friendly pup, and I’ll keep you updated with plenty of pics so you never have to worry! I’m currently in nursing school, so my schedule varies a bit week to week, but pet care is still something I genuinely enjoy making time for. I do my best to keep my availability updated and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine whenever possible, whether that means drop-in visits, walks, playtime, or care during the evenings/weekends. Safety is super important to me! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I make sure to follow all feeding, medication, and care instructions closely. I also make sure pets always have fresh water, a calm environment, and plenty of attention. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior, comfort level, and routine so I can help them feel safe and cared for. During walks or outdoor time, I keep a close eye on them and make sure they’re secure, comfortable, and having fun.
“Reema was amazing! Her pup and mine played so well together, it was the perfect play date! She also sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. I would trust Reema to watch our girl again in a heartbeat ☺️”

“Nicole and tim sent great pictures in the video. They agreed to help out very last minute. And had an adorable house and yard for josie to hang out in.”

About: I help with pets often. Neighbors trust me to walk, play, and care for their animals. I enjoy playing outside and cuddling with animals. I can’t wait to meet new animals. I work from home 2 days a week and I work in the office short 5 hour days during the week with no evenings or weekends. I have a private, fenced, level yard. I have a no outlet neighborhood for nice safe walks. I enjoy playing the back yard, going for walks and snuggles too.

“I’m so grateful for Laura and her family. She was incredibly flexible from start to finish, and my dog is completely worn out—in the best way! Laura gave her all the attention I couldn’t, and I couldn’t be more thankful.”

“My girl Gingersnap is older and shy, she doesn't really take to new people quickly. Candela was sweet and patient with her, and at the end of two days Ginger was totally comfortable in her home and didn't want to leave! Candela was also super flexible and accommodating to our schedule, which was so appreciated. We were able to visit St Louis from out of town and do everything we wanted knowing our little bear was safe and happy. What a relief. Thank you Candela!”

“Francie was fantastic, plenty of playtime and outside time for my little Gía with other small pups. She was flexible with pickup times and took great care of my little girl. Will definitely use her services again. Thanks, Francie!”

“I can tell she cares for my dog the way I do when I’m not around! I am so thankful to have found someone that I can fully trust with my pup and with my home. When I leave my house I tell my dog “Virginia is going to come” and he gets so excited and looks out the window to wait for her. She deserves the best review, but I don’t want to share her! She truly is the best and we appreciate her so much!”

“Anna was so great with walking our dog, Cleo! She came over the day before to learn about Cleo’s routines & get a layout of the house and yard. Anna walked Cleo & played fetch with her in the yard. She also sent pictures :) we will definitely be using Anna in the future for our drop-in and walking needs!”

“Sam was excellent and exceeded our expectations when caring for our golden retriever, Maggie! Loved the updates, pictures and videos! 10/10, would hire again in a heartbeat.”

About: If I could rescue all the animals and take them home, I would! I'm all about tail wags, butt wiggles, kisses, and snuggles. LOTS of snuggles! I'm available daily for dog walks or check-ins, including holidays, and I'm happy to work with your schedule. I make sure to keep things familiar and as stress-free as possible. Keeping to their regular routine is especially important. They will miss their hoomans, but I promise to spoil them rotten while you're away!
About: I have always had animals around me my whole life. My wife and I currently have two sweet cats and we see her families dog very often. I will treat your fur baby as if it were my own and not only take care of them while you are away but make sure to spend some good time making sure they are played with and loved.
About: I have had pets and taken care of other's pets for most of my life! I absolutely adore animals of all kinds. I have been house/pet sitting for the last few years on my own but I'm trying to expand my client base and meet new furry friends! I also have lots of experience with cats! “Kiffin is great to work schedules with, very personable and dog savvy. Max comes back happy and energetic. She communicates very well by message and I hope she is equally happy with Max and is around a long time for him😊”

“Kat is amazing! She instantly calmed my scared and barking dog. Ellie loves to have her come and sat by the door waiting for her on the weekend. She didn’t care that we took her on a walk she wanted to see Kat!”

About: Empathetic and caring towards pets. My first pet was a fish, named Cogi. Since then I've had a gerbil, dog (bichon frise) named Casso, and now have two cats (littermates - part maine coon - Sage & Chowder). I have enjoyed times when I volunteered with child care and senior care facilities in the past as well. Always enjoy spending time with and connecting with pets. Rarely if ever meet any pet I have difficulty connecting with. I'm currently self employed, studying for MO real estate exam & license, and often engaged in other opportunities on the side as well. However, despite my busy schedule at times, I am quite proficient at juggling tasks, maintaining physical & mental health, eating healthy, exercising when possible, and still prioritizing pet care in the midst of it all! I can bring toys, treats, food, litter or anything needed, but am not currently boarding pets at my residence. I will do everything I can to make your pet(s) feel comfortable, clean up after myself and any pet(s), and keep you informed of anything out of the normal.
“I have an older dog with chronic diseases, and Hope has been so great. It is clear she truly cares about her. She has passed on tips from her veterinary ICU experience and has used her own supplies to help her.”

“Katie was incredible, she was flexible, prompt , timely communications and such a joy to work with. We will be absolutely utilizing her services over and over again. Aero our dog love Katie and that says a lot , she was able to not only manage a hyper active doodle that gets spooked by strangers but she was so patient and supportive. Thank you you certainly set the bar high!”

“Candace has been great to work with! She's very communicative, reliable, consistent, timely. Not to mention, she obviously cares very much about my Harvey and takes great care of him! She goes the extra mile to play with him and pet him, depending on his mood, and always cleans up if he's had an accident in the house before she arrives. Candace also takes very cute pictures of Harvey on their walks, which I always appreciate.”

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. My first word was my neighbor’s dog’s name, Ashley! I have been a trusted dog, cat, lizard, and fish sitter for 10 years, and would love to continue! I have experience with elderly and young dogs, and administering medication. I recently got a full time position and am looking for something to do on the side. I am punctual, and patient. I know how it feels to love a pet with your whole heart (even if that pet wasn't mine). I have weekends free, and am free for walks around lunch and in the evening on Mondays and Wednesdays. I have never met a dog I didn’t love and I would love to meet yours! I’m currently working full time but work from home Monday and Friday. Right down the street from Tower Grove Park, where it’s sniff heaven! I love to go for walks and can fit them in the morning, evening and around noon. I don’t have a fenced in back yard but I’m more than happy to go on long walks and training/sniff activities to work through some energy and add some mental stimulation!

“We were so lucky to find Marie when we needed to book 3 days and 2 nights on short notice. Our 6 year old adopted mix was mistreated as a pup and as a result is fearful and easily stressed by new situations. To our happy surprise, Marie and her family put him at ease in record time! It was a great stay for him, top of our list!”

“Jacob is a wonderful pet sitter. He took care of my two cats and kept me updated with pics and notes about how they were doing. One of my cats’ had trouble adjusting but he encouraged her everyday to come out of her safe place. She finally came out on the last day. So I will definitely use him again. By the way he took my cats in an emergency situation and contacted me right away. Thank you to Rover, but mostly a huge shout out and thank you to Jacob.”
