“Kristen was amazing! She did a great job interacting with my cats and getting them fed (which can be difficult). Kristen is very kind and made sure she followed all instructions left for her. I highly recommend her if you need a pet sitter. Not only did she keep us updated on how the cats were while we were away, but she sent us pictures of each one at every drop in visit she made.”

“Natalee always does a great job. This time she was observamt and noticed some health issues with our cat. This helped us to promptly respond and get him the care he needed. Thank you Natalee!”

“Claire took great care of our dog, Monte, who can be a lot to handle. We were sent pics of him playing on her visits and he looked very well cared for! She was extremely thorough on her visits making sure he was good to go before leaving.”

“I can leave town without worry because I know my cats will be taken care of by Samantha and Christopher. They always go above and beyond to take care of our cats. They also watch my family members senior dogs and do a great job. Also they send lots of pictures of the animals and give detailed updates which I really appreciate. 10/10, will absolutely book again”

“Hayle was gracious enough to take my almost last minute 3 day booking when my friend (who usually checks in on my boy) wound up having to go out of town for the second half of my trip. We had enough time for a quick meet n greet and got things squared away before I left. I feel like I didn't give enough info about my boy and probably forgot things for her when she came here. In spite of that, she did a fantastic job and my boy was taken care of while I was gone. Thanks so much!”

“Haley took great care of Bia. She was easy to communicate with, easygoing and hit it off with Bia the instant they met. I felt totally confident that Bia was in good hands with Haley!”

“Eleanor was very responsible and our family felt like she was taking care of our dogs well. We got photos of them every day we were away. She was great about responding and getting in touch with any questions or concerns in a timely matter. We will definitely rebook with her in the future.”

“Katie is great and sends great photos. I typically board Harry when I leave for a weekend, but I wanted to try this route as I am getting more comfortable and confident with my Rover sitters. Harry was so happy and stable when I returned. I will do this every time I leave now.”

“Alicia was great with my shy and anxious pup. She also agreed to check in on him last minute. I would definitely recommend her to watch your pups and will be using her services again. Thanks so much!”

“Claire did an excellent job taking care of our 2 dogs in the middle of the day. She checked in on time everyday, gave us updates and took several photos. Really appreciate her helping us out.”

“Brooke is so patient with my cat and after almost a year of visits she got Mr. Axel to play with her. Brooke forms close bonds with her fuzzy clients and always provides A+ care. Thank you!”

“Danny and Jennifer did a great job taking care of our 3 dogs. They paid close attention to our requests and sent detailed comments with each visit. We would definitely recommend and use again!”

About: Empathetic and caring towards pets. My first pet was a fish, named Cogi. Since then I've had a gerbil, dog (bichon frise) named Casso, and now have two cats (littermates - part maine coon - Sage & Chowder). I have enjoyed times when I volunteered with child care and senior care facilities in the past as well. Always enjoy spending time with and connecting with pets. Rarely if ever meet any pet I have difficulty connecting with. I'm currently self employed, studying for MO real estate exam & license, and often engaged in other opportunities on the side as well. However, despite my busy schedule at times, I am quite proficient at juggling tasks, maintaining physical & mental health, eating healthy, exercising when possible, and still prioritizing pet care in the midst of it all! I can bring toys, treats, food, litter or anything needed, but am not currently boarding pets at my residence. I will do everything I can to make your pet(s) feel comfortable, clean up after myself and any pet(s), and keep you informed of anything out of the normal.
About: My nature is very gentle and welcoming. I have diverse experience from new born puppies & kittens to elderly cats and elderly dog of all sizes that need special care and attention. Taking care of pets with a big personality, that are high energy is no problem! I am good with all animals! I am a part time student and I have a lot of free time to care for others. I take walks daily with my dog, she is very social and walks very well with other dogs. Also if you’re dog needs one on one attention from me I can do that as well! The little things are what separate good work from great care. Any specific requests even the tiniest detail will be cared for and followed as requested.
The median cost per visit for pet sitting in Glendale is $20
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Glendale
Sarah made a series of drop-in visits during a particularly busy week at work. She was on-time, communicative, and sent thorough report cards with photos at each visit. It was my first Rover experience and she made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be booking again!

I can leave town without worry because I know my cats will be taken care of by Samantha and Christopher. They always go above and beyond to take care of our cats. They also watch my family members senior dogs and do a great job. As always Heather is great with both our cats - the new one who loves to help her with all the activities she's doing (the litter, feeding, etc) and the old one chats to her the entire time about he can't believe we left him (AGAIN) with the new one who is now his cross to bear all by himself.

This was my first time using Rover to have someone check on my dogs. I was a bit nervous of how it would go since my dogs get scared easily of new people, but Karen was very patient and attentive with them and overall did a fantastic job! She provided updates during each of the check ins and bonded with the dogs as the days went by. I would 100% recommend Karen as a dog sitter and if I need someone to watch my dogs again using Rover, Karen would be my first choice!

Asa was wonderful. I received pictures and updates. She took time with each of my cats as they have to be kept separate. I came home to each of my cats being well taking care of, everything being tidy, and both of the kitties having attention. I am so happy with Asa’s care!

Anne was absolutely wonderful with our four month old puppy. He loves meeting new people, but is still very energetic (and teething). She was very patient with him and added in lots of playtime to tire him out. We will be highly recommending her to friends and family in the area!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
