“Allison is a wonderful cat sitter! I booked Allison for 9 days of drop-in visits to keep my cats food, water, and litter refreshed but she went above and beyond! 1. Expect great photos of your cats. Every day I looked forward to seeing cute pictures of my cats. 2. Allison truly loves cats and understands cat social behavior. During her orientation visit, Allison was clearly very observant of our cats' boundaries and allowed them to make the first contact. By the time she left the orientation, they were sleeping on the floor/couch without a care in the world. Missing parents is already a stress for cats. Given this, introducing a stranger to your home is a tough decision to make but I could already tell I had nothing to worry about and that showed in her updates and especially the photos shared. 3. Allison will keep your cats stimulated! Our cats are very human-oriented and get very antsy when they're parents are out of town. Allison takes time during her drop-in visits to play with them and give them the affection they crave. 4. Allison makes sure you come home to a place exactly as you left it. She took the trash out when it needed. She kept the floor around the litterbox clean from litter. Before now, I've never left home for such a period and come back to a place so clean! Some notes specific to this particular booking: We had a power outage for 4 (or 5?) consecutive days while we were away. Allison made an extra drop-in to check on the cats after the storm because she sensed our power was likely out. She cracked some windows and paid close attention to the cats' comfort throughout the power outage. This was a complete curveball and I'm so glad I chose Allison for this booking. When she says "Pets = unconditional love!" she means it! Everything Allison does in service of your pets. I would re-book based on my previous notes alone, but she handled this power outage so well it's not even a question!”

About: I am a full-time caregiver and household manager to 2 children and my partner. We are fur baby free now but love our snails and fish more than we anticipated! I grew up with dogs and loved our girl for 12 years, through 2 ACL surgeries and into advanced age. I know the love of a dog and how precious these family members are. About: Growing up, there was never a time when there wasn’t a dog in the house, and I have been a cat mom for going on five years, so I am very understanding of the care that comes with each animal. Additionally, I have experience with puppies/kittens all the way to senior pets and know that each require personalized care (and I have no problem giving it). As an added bonus, I live with my partner, who also is a dog dad and everyday he gives his dog daily vitamins to stay happy and healthy. Plus he used to work at a wild life rehabilitation center, so he is very familiar with how to care for all animals, regardless of species, age or health. I work a hybrid schedule and currently have every other Friday off so I have plenty of time to care for your best friend. My work also allows employees to bring their dogs to work, if it’s something you’re comfortable with, I would love to show off your doggo! I am available for drop off/pickup anytime on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. Plus my partner is a graduate student, so he comes home throughout the day to care for his own dog. Phoebe was amazing! This was the first time we left our cat. She usually takes a bit to warm up to people, but she was cuddling with Phoebe on the first visit (which we could see from all the pics she took). Phoebe was dependable and trustworthy with full access to our apartment. Couldn’t recommend her enough!
I’ve never used Rover before so I was a bit nervous, but Katie was absolutely phenomenal. She provided great care to my two cats, who can be a bit skittish, but took to her right away and even cuddled with her. Katie provided timely updates with lots of photos. She even left my cats a goodie bag with their names on it!! I will definitely be scheduling Katie again. Highly recommend her services!
Just wanted to add that since Sarah started with us in July, she has not only been an awesome sitter for our dog, but she has also been a very conscientious house guest. She’s noticed when we have loose planks in the fence, poisonous plants in the yard, and even found a missing key fob. We really appreciate having found such a kind and helpful sitter!
Allison was wonderful with our two cats! Our request was a big time commitment on short notice and she enthusiastically delivered, arriving on time twice a day all week to provide care and enrichment.
