About: When I was in first grade, I fancied myself a dog-trainer, and I helped a family friend "train" their rescue pup (we'll never know if I was actually helpful or not). Since then, I have loved love taking care of dogs, whether it's going for a walk around the block, teaching my own dog new tricks, or giving good belly rubs. Most of my experience comes from caring for my dog at home and petsitting for family and friends. I'm a grad student with a flexible schedule these days, so whether it's a lunch-time drop in, evening walk, or petsitting for the weekend, I'm happy to help out. I can provide petsitting/drop-in/walking care in your neighborhood, home, or wherever your pup is most comfortable. I would just ask that you let me know whatever makes your pup unique (reactivities, favorite foods, lovable quirks), so that I can take care of them as best I can.

About: I have been taking care of friends and family’s dogs for years and simply can’t get enough. I am a currently university. While not at college I live with Baxter my yellow lab, and three cats Binx, Goose, and Milo. I work as a Veterinary Assistant during the summers.I have first hand experience with topical, oral, and aural medication as needed. I am currently a university student. I have the most availability on weekends. I’m available daily during weekdays in the morning and in the evening. I like to start slow especially with the more shy pets. From that point I may use treats or some time for slow sniffing. Once I’ve built a trust with your pet I find it helpful for the dog to watch you pass their leash to me as a passing or trust. For walks the dogs are always leashed. I offer both short and long walks and will match the pace that best suits your pet from slow sniffing filled walks to fast paced trots. I am available for both in home visits and overnight stays, feedings, bathroom breaks, and medication administration as needed.
“Sophia is absolutely wonderful! Our (somewhat anxious) dog often takes awhile to warm up to new people, but she was crawling into Sophia's lap for belly rubs within minutes. Sophia is so great about letting us know how our dog is doing throughout the day and what kinds of things they've done during each visit, and sending lots of pictures. I absolutely trust her and feel very comfortable that my dog is in good hands. This is the second time Sophia has sat for us, and we will certainly be asking her again in the future!”

“Reagan was professional from the start and was an effective communicator throughout. She accepted a long duration job on short notice and was very accommodating. I highly recommend using her!”

“Hayley is great with Hopper and takes good care of him when i have to be away. She keeps good communication so i know what’s going on which I love! I’ve used her service multiple times now and will continue to do so when I need someone trustworthy and great at what they do!”

“Ross did a great job with our two cats. He provided exactly the care we requested and spent time playing with our young cat to help her get out that pent up energy! He also provided superior communication. We greatly appreciated his sitting services”

“Autumn takes such good care of our cat! I can always count on her to spoil our cat with treats and change things up so that our cat doesn’t get bored while we’re away. Her detailed notes and pictures are also very appreciated :)”

“Katie took wonderful care of our two dogs, making sure they had ample breaks during the day, sticking to their schedule and going above and beyond to make sure the pups were comfortable while we were gone. A+ all around, thank you Katie!!!”

“Felt very comfortable with Suzanne walking our pups. She communicated with me before and after the walk, making sure she was clear about our pups needs and sharing pics from the visit. Definitely recommend Suzanne”
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 10. I dog sit regularly for friends and family, and do so because I love animals so much! Friends and family rely on me to walk, feed and love their animals for up to a week or so at times. This varies between dog and cat sitting at my home or house sitting at their home. Ages of pets range between 10 week old puppies and kittens to 10 year old dogs and cats. I have the extreme luxury of working from home Monday-Friday. With my schedule, I try to go for a walk everyday, so why not bring a dog with me?! I am in the St. Louis area most weekends and am able to accommodate weekend boardings as well. I have a 2 bedroom home and a fenced in backyard with a back door to easily let pets in and out. I am a huge animal lover!
“I was worried about leaving my doggie Louie alone with a stranger for a few days while I visited my daughter at college but WOW…I think he likes Brooke more than me now. LOL. Brooke was an absolute rockstar with Louie. He is usually slow to warm up to strangers bur immediately demanded belly rubs from her and loved Brooke at our initial meeting. The updates with great notes and pics every visit made me smile and feel 100% at ease. Brooke is my go to sitter from now on. No doubt about it!!”

“Christina is GREAT! She treats my dog so well. She’s also very good with my cat. She goes above and beyond when taking care of my babies for me. It’s nice to know that when I can’t be with them that someone is showing them such great care.”

About: I've had my dog Stella since she was 3 months old, and she's turning six now. I grew up always owning dogs and loving them, and I've never known a home where a dog wasn't part of it. I have experience with both big and small dogs, and Stella likes all shapes and sizes, and is kind to all the pups (and humans) she comes across. Stella and I enjoy having another dog around as company, as it lets me give some extra love, and gives Stella a friend that she gets to be a dog with :) While I do work a normal office job, I have a pretty flexible work schedule that allows me to not have to be in the office super early, to work from home some days, or not have to be in the office for extended periods of time. Weekends, I am home for most of the day, aside from the occasional errand. We live in an apartment and while we do not have a fenced in yard, our apartment is very pet friendly, with everyone in my building owning a pet. I live in the Clayton-Demun area, sandwiched between Forest Park and Concordia Park, so walks are great. We do at least 4 walks a day, and have been trying to get more exercise as Stella has been instructed she needs to get in shape :) Stella gets along with every single dog she comes across, and loves having extra friends around to hangout with. We frequently have play dates with my neighbors yorkie, and Stella plays appropriately with dogs of all sizes - it's honestly incredible to witness. I’m happy to let them roam free during the day if I'm gone, or if they need to be crated we have one as well. Furniture is at your discretion, but Stella typically does not get on it - becuase she sheds like crazy.
About: I allow the doggie to decide on their day of course following what routine you have set for them. I will Vlog so you can see what a true doggie star they are! I'm energetic so we will hike, jog, walk and wag our way into a fun filled day. My days and weekends are very flexible. I have a massage/pet caregiver business in St.Louis, Missouri and Taos, New Mexico that only I manage! I've cared for Great Danes to Pugs from puppies in potty training to females in heat. I treat them as they are my own and always adhering to their routine. Booking me "Animal Planet", belly rubs, and fun will be in your future (wiggle wag wiggle wag wink) Thank you, dawn I currently work part time as a massage therapist with a very flexible schedule. I will try and arrange potty breaks close to what your pet is used to but there will be days I can be gone up to fours hours. I treat your pet as you do and keep them on their routine. I always have a pet on a lead unless they’re in their own backyard. I usually have them stay clear of other animals and children since they’re are extra anxiety’s due to owner/parents being away. Your fur babies happiness and safety is first priority.
Richmond Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Niko LOVED his time with Tabitha! She followed his routine and house instructions as directed and loved on him so much. Each visit I got a detailed review of their time together and adorable pictures of their activities. I am grateful that he was super social with her and I was so happy each day when I got the check in notes. Would absolutely book Tabitha again and recommend her to friends!

Violet was great! She did everything I asked her too do and some more. While I told her to just put the dirty cat food plates in the sink, she also washed them. She also took out the trash with the cat litter. I can tell my cats enjoyed their time with her in the daily pictures she sent me. I would book her again.

Gabrielle provided the best of care for my dog while I was gone. She was prompt, kind, communicative, and professional. She clearly cares very much about dogs and is very knowledgeable as well. I would not hesitate to recommend her for dog walks and dog sitting.

Julie is the absolute best! My pups are my babies, and trusting someone with them is a big deal, but Julie makes it so easy. I loved all the pictures and videos she shared, and her fun, sweet commentary made me feel so connected to them even while I was away. It was obvious how happy, loved, and well cared for they were the entire time. I’m incredibly grateful to have someone like Julie who I trust completely with my pups when I’m traveling. Couldn’t recommend her more!
