About: Hi, I'm Gracie! I do home remodeling & carpentry things for work, but my number one passion is in taking care of animals. I also travel pretty frequently and because of that, I’ve found this platform invaluable. So aside from wanting to meet and hang with your cute pets, I’d love to return the favor and help out fellow pet owners! Especially in those dire, last minute boarding/sitting situations. (been there 😅) Growing up, my family fostered retired racing greyhounds so I’m very comfortable around sensitive and unsure dogs. For several years I worked and lived on various animal farms- all of which had/bred livestock guardian dogs that I worked very closely with. I am experienced in senior care and administering medications (including injections) to all sorts of animals. I work for myself doing residential carpentry and remodeling, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m usually available for last minute bookings. I also never work very far from home. Your dog’s comfort and safety always come first. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and even the bed if that’s what they’re used to at home, and I have several dog beds set up around the house too. I also have a large crate available if your dog needs a quiet, secure space to settle into. I keep a close eye on dogs at all times, dog-proof the areas we’re in, and make sure fresh water is always available.

I’m comfortable with pets at every stage, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m reliable when it comes to sticking to routines, whether that’s specific feeding times, multiple daily walks, or just giving your pet the attention they’re used to. I genuinely love spending time with animals and will treat your pet like my own while you’re away. I work remotely, so I’m home throughout the day and able to give pets plenty of attention, potty breaks, and playtime. Nicole and Tim are the best!!! They have really kind, positive, calm energy and my black lab immediately loved them. They were super responsive and easy to coordinate with, and their setup is perfect. Their yard is great with a nice high fence, and as someone whose dog gets into everything I really appreciated how neat and clean their apt was. Most importantly though, Darcy had a great time and seemed very happy and relaxed. 10/10, highly recommend. We will definitely use again!

Daniela took wonderful care of our pup! She was super flexible and has the most adorable puppy, Lucky, who played amazingly well with Ellie! She would pull me to their door as soon as she caught sight of Lucky which is a great sign of how she loved being there! She is usually picky the first 2 days with a new sitter but Daniela figured out how to get her food tooo. Highly recommend Daniela and Lucky!
My dog Taku and I relocated here from Michigan recently. We have no family or friends here in Illinois. I was so stressed and anxious on what I will do with Taku while I’m at work or a long day or long weekend. Taku has separation anxiety where if he’s left alone, he will cry and bark the whole entire time. Then I found Jeena on Rover! She was so accommodating! She allowed Taku and I to come meet her and her cats to see if they all got along, before we booked her for a half day of day care. Taku did really well at her place!
