About: I am the go-to pet sitter for my friends, family, and friends of the family. I have been told i’m an “animal whisperer” and take that title proudly! I have a bachelors in psychology, i’m a self-published author, and i’m certified in Reiki (energy healing) and can provide your pets and your home with reiki while i’m there. I have a background in housekeeping and can also provide additional cleaning services to your home. I love animals and have found pet sitting to be my happy place. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies! Pet sitting is my full-time job so my schedule is very available! I used to do housekeeping professionally and now just clean for friends and friends of the family, but would be willing to provide additional cleaning services if the client requested. I currently live with two cats and two dogs (a pitbull and a dachshund). They’re my roommates animals but I treat them like they’re my own. I always said growing up if i had steady hands I would’ve been a vet! I’m always caring for pets, or with pets and treat them like I would treat a child.

“Madelyn went above and beyond checking in on my cats while I was out of town. Real-time updates during her visit and excellent communication. Thanks so much!”
About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover and owner living in Maplewood, MO, with my friendly 5 yr old Aussie, Porter. While I'm newer to pet sitting on Rover, I've cared for dogs my whole life and have plenty of experience watching the pups of friends and family. Whether it's walks, playtime, or cuddles, in here to ensure your furry friend feels happy and cared for while you're away! I'm available on the weekends and work from home Mondays and Fridays, giving your pup plenty of attention, potty breaks and daily walks. I'm open to Tues-Thurs care as well, but the pup would have to be okay in a crate or out for 8 hours while I'm at work for the day. I have a fenced in yard for the pup to play, potty and get exercise in. I have a 5 year old aussie who is super friendly and would love the company of another dog! While I'll be home most of the time with your pup, when I step out of the house I'm happy to kennel them or leave them out, whatever makes you and the pup feel the most comfortable!
Richmond Heights cat parents share their Rover experiences
Julia was an awesome sitter for my senior kitty! She was able to take my super last minute booking and made my cat comfortable while we we're gone! She sent detailed notes and plenty of pictures each visit. I'm sure most pet owners worry about leaving and not knowing if the sitter will treat your pet like you do but I didn't have that concern at all. Julia followed all my care instructions and gave me updates on things like spit up. She was also very accommodating when I had to make a modification to the booking! I will definitely reach out to her again!

Emily was easy to get ahold of and took SUCH good care of my cat. I always get nervous leaving him, but Emily asked me things like where I keep his carrier, who his vet is, etc during our initial visit, which made me know he’d be in good hands. Thank you, thank you!

Laura is so awesome and this is the second time we have her looking after our kitty! Our kitty Cleo also very obviously love Laura as well! She treats Cleo like her own and kept Cleo super entertained and satisfied. If needed in the future, we will definitely ask Laura again. Definitely recommend her!

Linda was AMAZING with our Luna (who is a bit of a troubled feline.) I felt so comforted after our official meet and greet, and knew she would be in good hands while we were away. Luna didn’t act out at all while we were away which was a great. I appreciated all the communication and photos Linda sent us to keep us up to date on how Luna was doing. Would absolutely love to use her again when needed!

When Virginia and I met for the "meet and greet" time, I could tell she was just the ONE for my special needs cat, Becca.I was right! Receiving the photos and the messages from Virginia allowed me to enjoy my vacation without worrying. I could see Becca and I could read about her time with Virginia. Virginia gave her the love and space that she needed. She also maintained Becca's schedule, including her medications and as much play time as Becca would allow. Becca can be standoffish. I hope Virginia will be available when I travel again.
This was Emily’s first time with our Luna. So, she was kind enough to have a meet and great to get the lay of the land. I really liked meeting Emily first. Emily came and kept me in the loop with how things were going. Our cat can be shy and may take a bit to feel comfortable. Emily gave a little info most days. Emily was also very easy to contact if needed. After coming home… we found our home to be on the same clean place as we left it. That is also important to me. We really would be happy to have Emily come back to see our cat again and again.
