I Sit AND Stay!
Petsitting full-time has been the best decision I've ever made for my mental health. I've been trying for a long time to have a "normal" 9-5 job, but I recently made the important realization that "normal" looks different for everybody, and I'm happiest when I can make my own schedule! Caring for your pets gives me purpose, it gives me ambition, and when petsitting is my main source of income, it's a great incentive to do my best work every time! I've been petsitting on Rover since May of 2023, and I've learned so much about what it means to be a caring, responsible, vigilant, hardworking, and sometimes creative animal caretaker. While I've had part-time jobs at the same time, I've realized that I thrive best when I prioritize caring for your four-legged family members versus some office job. My love for animals and delight in caring for them full-time isn't something that only started as an adult. When I was a toddler, my first word was "doggy", so it was no surprise to anyone that I grew up to be the local "dog whisperer"! I was friends with and loved every dog in my neighborhood, including the curmudgeonly ones who didn't like anyone. As an adult, the natural energy I have with animals has been honed as I have been trained in numerous fields of pet care. I have experience working with and caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, chinchillas, mice, rats, ferrets, leopard geckos, crested geckos, bearded dragons, iguanas, snakes, fish, songbirds, and chickens! I have worked as a dog and cat nutrition expert, an assistant dog groomer, a doggy daycare attendant, and a receptionist at a high-volume veterinary clinic. I believe in early socialization, positive reinforcement training, excellent quality feeding, and lots of cuddle time. I am excited to meet your pets!

Safety, trust & environment
As a petsitter who specializes exclusively in staying at your home with your pets, I think routine is very important, especially for pets who are just getting to know me. I try my best to stick with your pets' established schedule to keep them comfortable and content. If your pup needs 3 walks a day, I can do that, weather permitting. If your cat likes to cry for food at 3am, well, mine does too, so that's no problem. Petsitting is my full-time job now, so I am absolutely more than happy to accommodate you and your pets' needs without having to worry about how it will balance out with any other type of job.

Nat was absolutely wonderful with my kitties! She spent quality time with them, played with them, and always sent me pictures and thoughtful updates about their disposition and how they were doing. She went the extra mile to learn exactly which food each kitty received and the best times to visit. She even rinsed out the wet-food cans before discarding them and ran the garbage disposal so the apartment wouldn’t smell like stale cat food. When I came home, everything was incredibly clean and smelled great—and, most importantly, my kitties were completely stress-free and well-adjusted, as though nothing had changed at all. That kind of care and peace of mind is priceless. Thanks so much, Nat! You’re the best cat sitter I’ve ever had!

Natalee was awesome. She was detail oriented and clearly loves dogs a lot. She was very intentional about the way she met and interacted with our dog, and followed our requests perfectly. Our dog took to her very quickly and seemed to have a great time with her.
We love it when Natalee comes to spend time with Graeson, she’s the best!
Natalee is great! Very responsible, excellent communication while we were out of town, took great care of our dog and our house. She’s loving and sensitive to our dog’s needs and personality. We will be booking her again.

Schedule
Petsitting has become my main occupation, so I am eager to spend most of every day with your furry family! Sometimes I may leave for a few hours to run errands, hang out with my human friends, or on Wednesday nights you may find me at the karaoke bar. But, if you can communicate with me the level of care your pets need to thrive, I am happy to accommodate that!
