“Mackenzie did a good job taking care of my cat’s basic needs (food, water, litter, etc). My cat is pretty aloof, a hider, and easily stressed by changes in routine so I appreciate Mackenzie’s patience with that. That said, I did feel that communication could have been better - particularly with a drop in that Mackenzie was over an hour late to. I was not made aware about how late she would be until the well into then scheduled drop in time. Obviously things happen and emergencies pop up, but I would have appreciated more of a heads up so I could potentially make other arrangements. Unfortunately, I do not have a “go with the flow” kind of cat and I do think it contributed to her overall stress in the situation. On the flip side, when my cat decided to hide a little too well during the next drop in, Mackenzie spent well over the allotted time looking for her and trying to make she was safe. She also offered to come back later and look again. I certainly appreciated the extra effort and offer of extra time. Ultimately, my cat was fine, fed, and safe which is the goal.”

“Nat was absolutely wonderful with my kitties! She spent quality time with them, played with them, and always sent me pictures and thoughtful updates about their disposition and how they were doing. She went the extra mile to learn exactly which food each kitty received and the best times to visit. She even rinsed out the wet-food cans before discarding them and ran the garbage disposal so the apartment wouldn’t smell like stale cat food. When I came home, everything was incredibly clean and smelled great—and, most importantly, my kitties were completely stress-free and well-adjusted, as though nothing had changed at all. About: Just a dog mom and passionate animal lover with a dream of spoiling every fur baby in STL. I own a large, reactive senior dog that is my pride and joy so I’m well versed in reactive dogs with spicy personalities. Disclaimer: I’m a physician with unpredictable hours but I know my schedule months in advance so we’ll work together to find a good routine. I will always be transparent if I can’t provide the care needed due to time constraints. I’m comfortable with dogs of any size, age, or medical needs and cats are more than welcome to join the gang ! My schedule varies due to switching between clinic and hospital rotations every month. I’m usually available in the evenings and weekends. I know my schedule months in advance so will depend on what service you're looking for and what dates Unfortunately, my dog is not friendly with other animals so I cannot provide boarding. I can only offer house sitting if able to alternate between my home and yours

About: I have always been passionate about animal care, specifically dogs. I have 3.5 years of veterinary technician experience and have also worked at boarding facilities such as Pet Paradise. I am a student at Saint Louis University majoring in Biology, furthering my education in animal behavior. I enjoy jogging in my spare time, and have the stamina needed to play with or jog with pets. I am available on weekends during the day and most evenings. There’s nothing I love more than taking care of pets! I look forward to taking care of your fur babies! I am a current graduate student, and therefore am working several hours a day during the week, but I am available most nights and on the weekends anytime! I am a helicopter parent when it comes to my own dog, and treat other pets with the same level of care and caution. I love sending pictures (if allowed) to ensure great care, and frequently keeps owners updated on how their fur babies are doing.
