About: I have always had animals around me my whole life. My wife and I currently have two sweet cats and we see her families dog very often. I grew up walking my cousins dogs and am good with most any kind of animal! I am currently a full time student so I have lots of time and a flexible schedule for taking care of pets. I have two cats of my own and will be adding a puppy into the mix soon! I will treat your fur baby as if it were my own and not only take care of them while you are away but make sure to spend some good time making sure they are played with and loved.
“Chris and Sam were great with our dogs and professional! They were super flexible when it was too hot for the dogs to walk and had excellent communication throughout. I loved getting a video of the dogs mid-walk. We will be booking them for more dog walks and housesitting in the future!”

“Allison has been dropping in and taking our dog on walks for a few months now and she has been wonderful! She is very prompt, reliable, and communicates well. We would highly recommend!”

“Janina took excellent care of my pup. She was communicative, prompt, and even helped her learn to walk better on a leash! She provided sweet updates that helped me feel at ease.”
“Katie was so good with our a rowdy 1 yr old- I really appreciated her help with Stella! This was my first time using Rover and I am so glad I did! Stella ended up napping after her walk and play time with Katie so I could work late without a dog in my lap :) Thank you Katie!!”

“Anna was so great with walking our dog, Cleo! She came over the day before to learn about Cleo’s routines & get a layout of the house and yard. Anna walked Cleo & played fetch with her in the yard. She also sent pictures :) we will definitely be using Anna in the future for our drop-in and walking needs!”

“Lauren was awesome to work with! She genuinely loves dogs, and it was obvious from the moment she walked in. My dog was tired and happy after his walk and she even stayed to play with him afterward. Highly recommend!”

“I can tell she cares for my dog the way I do when I’m not around! I am so thankful to have found someone that I can fully trust with my pup and with my home. When I leave my house I tell my dog “Virginia is going to come” and he gets so excited and looks out the window to wait for her. She deserves the best review, but I don’t want to share her! She truly is the best and we appreciate her so much!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes my whole life. I’m not good at training but I will help reinforce any training. I also love cats and could cuddle them for hours. Currently working part time, so I have all the time to play with and take care of your pets. I can be there most of the day, excluding an hour for school pick up. I cannot watch pets in my home because of my own animals, but I would love to be able to walk yours! I’ll take them on a few walks every day to make sure they’re getting enough exercise.
About: I have had years of experience caring for my own dogs as well as fostering puppies from my local animal shelter. When I foster puppies, I work hard on potty training them, teaching basic commands, and socialization. I also raised my own husky who required special care, including diaper changes and medication. Therefore, I have no problem helping your dog with any specific needs they may have. Depending on your needs and wishes, I'd love to look after your pup and watch them run around an area you deem safe, whether that be your backyard or a dog park. I can also crate your pup after my visit or during the night if you wish. My schedule is pretty open! Please feel free to message me, and I’m happy to work something out! I love caring for animals and I want to make sure they are happy while their family are either away or if they need a companion for a short while :) I always want to make sure your pup is comfortable with me in their space. Typically, I like to make sure to do a meet and greet with you there before to make sure that they are comfortable with me and understand that I'm just there to let them out and give them lots of love! In addition, if you know the best way to help your pup decompress while you're gone, please let me know and I will do my best to follow your advice!
“Michael has been so great to work with. Always communicates very well, sends photos, and has helped me a lot during my busy schedule. I’d recommend him to anyone!”

“Anastasia has been wonderful so far! She took the time to come meet Maddi and I before she took her on her first walk and Maddi took to her immediately! They have been on a couple walks already and the updates and pictures were perfect and just what I needed as a nervous dog Mom. I feel like she takes care of Maddi as if she were her own dog! We will definitely be signing up for more walks!”

About: I have been taking care of friends and family’s dogs for years and simply can’t get enough. I am a currently university. While not at college I live with Baxter my yellow lab, and three cats Binx, Goose, and Milo. I work as a Veterinary Assistant during the summers.I have first hand experience with topical, oral, and aural medication as needed. I am currently a university student. I have the most availability on weekends. I’m available daily during weekdays in the morning and in the evening. I like to start slow especially with the more shy pets. From that point I may use treats or some time for slow sniffing. Once I’ve built a trust with your pet I find it helpful for the dog to watch you pass their leash to me as a passing or trust. For walks the dogs are always leashed. I offer both short and long walks and will match the pace that best suits your pet from slow sniffing filled walks to fast paced trots. I am available for both in home visits and overnight stays, feedings, bathroom breaks, and medication administration as needed.
“Jessica was amazing!!! So flexible with plans and sweet to my boy Sumo. Very trustworthy and reliable, would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for help with their pup!”

“Lucy is so energetic and loves Bodi. She takes control of him so he trusts her and obeys her. She truly enjoys animals and I am thrilled with her interactions with him.”

Shrewsbury dog parents share their Rover experiences
Blerta was great with my dog during the one walk she did for us. She was punctual, friendly, and made me feel comfortable leaving my dog in her care. Even though it was just one time, I could tell she really enjoys working with animals and gave my dog the attention he needed. I’d definitely recommend her to others and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again in the future.

Catherine was very attentive in taking care of my dog and looked out for her needs. She was happy to help despite short notice and was very gracious when a mistake on my part caused her a long wait. I would gladly have her care for my dog again and would recommend.

Katie was an absolute dream to work with! She took care of my dog Calypso as if she were her own, and I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter. From the moment we met, Katie was warm, responsible, and clearly passionate about animals. Calypso instantly felt comfortable with her, which put my mind completely at ease. Throughout the stay, Katie kept me updated with sweet photos and little notes about how Calypso was doing. It was obvious she was getting tons of love, attention, and playtime. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly had a great time. If you’re looking for someone you can completely trust with your fur baby, Katie is the one. She’s dependable, thoughtful, and goes above and beyond. I’d book her again in a heartbeat—and so would Calypso!
