I am semi-retired from working in a public high school. I love giving back to my community. I thought this would be another way to do so. I realized since our dog passed away last fall, there is a void of not having a pet around. And since my time is flexible, working for Rover will check a lot of boxes!

Please let me know about your dog’s personality ahead of time and any tips on how they respond best in certain situations. And of course, if there are any special needs as well. I work best with non-aggressive dogs. Larger dogs are not a problem for me if they are gentle.
A typical day
I love to move and can’t wait to have a furry partner to lead the way to all the smells and sensory elements that give them joy. I am up for checking out new parks and routes. If they have some favorite toys at home, I can’t wait to have some fun with throwing balls or whatever floats their boat.

I have grown up with dogs my whole life. From Hogan the schnauzer, Misty the terrier mix to Ramsey the cocker spaniel - they were each special members of my family. As an adult, I had a schnoodle named Coco for 16 beautiful years. From puppy to senior, I did it all. I trained her, gave her nothing but love & comfort and cared for her before she passed (dog diapers, meds and all!). She was family. I’ll treat yours as family too. You’ll be able to count on me and the job will get done with lots of TLC and great communication.
