About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I only recently, in the past couple of years, started taking care of other people’s pups, and I really enjoy it. I treat all pups as if they were my own. I am retired. I play pickleball quite a bit, but I am never gone more than a few hours at a time. My husband works from home, so there is almost always someone around to accompany your pup. My favorite part of the job is showering pups with love. We have mattresses on the floor and if the pups are willing, we love to snuggle with them. About: Hi, I'm Gracie! I do home remodeling & carpentry things for work, but my number one passion is in taking care of animals. I also travel pretty frequently and because of that, I’ve found this platform invaluable. So aside from wanting to meet and hang with your cute pets, I’d love to return the favor and help out fellow pet owners! Especially in those dire, last minute boarding/sitting situations. (been there 😅) Growing up, my family fostered retired racing greyhounds so I’m very comfortable around sensitive and unsure dogs. For several years I worked and lived on various animal farms- all of which had/bred livestock guardian dogs that I worked very closely with. I am experienced in senior care and administering medications (including injections) to all sorts of animals. I work for myself doing residential carpentry and remodeling, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m usually available for last minute bookings. I also never work very far from home. Your dog’s comfort and safety always come first. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and even the bed if that’s what they’re used to at home, and I have several dog beds set up around the house too. I also have a large crate available if your dog needs a quiet, secure space to settle into. I keep a close eye on dogs at all times, dog-proof the areas we’re in, and make sure fresh water is always available.

About: I've spent much of my life living with and caring for dogs--from growing up with dogs throughout childhood, to helping care for dogs as an adult, to having Spencer, my most recent dog. I prefer a meet-and-greet before a first stay so that both the dog and I can ensure we're comfortable together. And I love sending photos and updates! I work from home Monday through Friday from 9am-6pm, so I’m home much of the day and can easily fit walks, playtime, meals, potty breaks, and plenty of attention into my routine. I live on a quiet, tree-lined street with sidewalks and no through traffic, just ten houses from Sublette Park. I love walking the perimeter of the park, so dogs who enjoy walks will have plenty of opportunities to get out and "sniff the puppy newspaper." I’m happy to take dogs for several walks a day depending on their normal routine and energy level. I do leave the house for errands and activities, so dogs should be comfortable relaxing at home alone for a few hours at a time. I have a quiet, dog-friendly home with no resident pets, and I only host dogs from one household at a time. I have a large, fully fenced privacy backyard for supervised play and potty breaks, plus a dog door that can be closed and locked when needed. Dogs are welcome to relax on my large couch, which is always covered with waterproof pet blankets. At night, dogs can sleep in their own crate in my downstairs den, on the couch, or--if they’re well behaved without a crate--on a dog bed in my bedroom. I don’t provide a crate, so owners should bring one if their dog needs it. I prefer to meet new dogs before their first stay so I can learn their routine and make sure I can handle them comfortably and safely. I’m currently best suited for friendly, reliably housetrained adult dogs who aren’t strong pullers, destructive chewers, or determined escape artists.

About: Growing up, there was never a time when there wasn’t a dog in the house, and I have been a cat mom for going on five years, so I am very understanding of the care that comes with each animal. Additionally, I have experience with puppies/kittens all the way to senior pets and know that each require personalized care (and I have no problem giving it). About: I grew up with dogs, and have numerous years of experience dog sitting, doing check ins and walking dogs starting from about age 12, as well as volunteering at Open Door Animal Sanctuary. My current dog is a rescue from Mexico. He is very laid back and stoic, and is an AKC certified Canine Good Citizen. However, my dog growing up was reactive, so I have experience with dogs of that temperament as well. I have recently moved back home from San Diego, CA to Webster Groves after 8 years. I am taking time off from working in public accounting to study full time for my CPA exams. As such, my schedule is extremely flexible. Meet and greets are free unless you need more than one before the stay, then the first meet and greet is free. “I'm very grateful Lucy was available this weekend. Maggie seemed to have had a great time and was very happy when she got home. Lucy's pick-up and drop-off was very punctual and she was available for an early drop-off when I returned home early in the day. Layla, Lucy's dog, seems to be a great playmate for Maggie. Got pictures of them playing and resting together every day. Will book again!”

One of my cats’ had trouble adjusting but he encouraged her everyday to come out of her safe place. She finally came out on the last day. So I will definitely use him again. By the way he took my cats in an emergency situation and contacted me right away. Thank you to Rover, but mostly a huge shout out and thank you to Jacob.”
