About: Iâve been up around animals my whole life and have experience with all different types. Iâm comfortable with pets at every stage, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. Iâm reliable when it comes to sticking to routines, whether thatâs specific feeding times, multiple daily walks, or just giving your pet the attention theyâre used to. I genuinely love spending time with animals and will treat your pet like my own while youâre away. I work remotely, so Iâm home throughout the day and able to give pets plenty of attention, potty breaks, and playtime. I also go on several walks throughout the day for dogs that need extra exercise or energy release. Iâm available for boarding in my home, as well as drop-in visits and check-ins throughout the day depending on your petâs needs and routine. I have a fenced-in yard where dogs can safely run around and explore, and I always make sure pets are supervised and comfortable while in my care. Iâm happy to follow any feeding schedules, medication instructions, crate routines, or special requests to help your pet feel at home. I can care for pets at my house or make visits to your home throughout the day to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible.

âSarah is a very responsive and attentive sitter! We have an anxious, medium-sized dog, and sheâs taken to Sarah very quickly. Sarah sends detailed updates and weâre excited to have her continue dropping in on Hazel.â

âSince Buddie canât talk, I will be glad to say for her. Katie has been reliable and kind to me all week while my mom is working. I smile for my pictures and I am so happy that she comes every day to visit.â

âEleanor was fantastic. She reassured us with the report cars and photos. We have older cats so more concern about going on vacation. I highly recommend Eleanor as she clearly loves fur babies. Thank-you!!â

âHeather was a Rock Star!! Smokey Bear developed a problem on the day we left on Vacation and after my son took him to our vet to diagnose the problem, she excelled at taking extra care of him - making sure he took his pills and everything else that was related to his problem. She has been his caregiver for several years and he's so fond of her that when we come back home he barely notices!! She's a wonder.â

âAnne was really sweet and caring with Miss kitty. She has very friendly personality and You can tell she loves animals I totally feel comfortable with her caring for Miss kitty.â

About: I love animals and am doing this more as a hobby than to make money. I spent 3 summers working at a doggy daycare/boarding. I am the go to dog/cat sitter in my apartment complex, office, and with my friend group. I love to meet new furry friends! I have a very flexible weekly schedule with work. I usually make my own schedule. I work fully remote two days a week and am off by 3 on Fridays. No work and completely flexible Saturday and Sundays! I care for pets by following their established routines and providing attentive, compassionate care tailored to each animalâs needs. I believe itâs important to treat every pet as my own!!
âAutumn went above and beyond caring for my pet, providing personalized care and special treats to appeal to my elderly, not-so-active cat. I would recommend Autumn for any pet care, anytime, and hope to ask her to watch my cat in the future. Thank you Autumn!â

âMany thanks to Michael and Beth for helping to take care of my medically complicated cat while I was on vacation. He was fat and happy when I returned. He also looked super happy to see Michael on the cat camera.â

âGabbie is great! My pup is pretty shy and going through some health concerns. Gabbie was attentive to what my dog needs, has been consistently on-time and has built up trust with her in the span of a week. Sadie seems really excited when Gabbie comes by and seems to enjoy their mid-day play sessions!â

About: I allow the doggie to decide on their day of course following what routine you have set for them. I will Vlog so you can see what a true doggie star they are! I'm energetic so we will hike, jog, walk and wag our way into a fun filled day. My days and weekends are very flexible. I have a massage/pet caregiver business in St.Louis, Missouri and Taos, New Mexico that only I manage! I've cared for Great Danes to Pugs from puppies in potty training to females in heat. I treat them as they are my own and always adhering to their routine. Booking me "Animal Planet", belly rubs, and fun will be in your future (wiggle wag wiggle wag wink) Thank you, dawn I currently work part time as a massage therapist with a very flexible schedule. I will try and arrange potty breaks close to what your pet is used to but there will be days I can be gone up to fours hours. I treat your pet as you do and keep them on their routine. I always have a pet on a lead unless theyâre in their own backyard. I usually have them stay clear of other animals and children since theyâre are extra anxietyâs due to owner/parents being away. Your fur babies happiness and safety is first priority.
âClaire took great care of our dog, Monte, who can be a lot to handle. We were sent pics of him playing on her visits and he looked very well cared for! She was extremely thorough on her visits making sure he was good to go before leaving.â

About: I have had a dog in my life since I was born. But I have been dog sitting for other families for many years watching over multiple dogs and just one. I have trained my own puppy and took care of my senior family dog. I am starting to work part time while I am studying for my board exam. I will be a fun break from studying to spend time cuddling, playing, and walking a dog or a cat. I love to let dog sniff cause itâs a good time for there brain to work. I want to be able to take a break and get activity throughout my time studying I want to make sure the pet is safe and canât get anything to hurt themselves. I never leave pets unattended with toys or treats that are a choking hazard. I want to create a clam environment for them to make them feel as happy as they can
âStephen, was great! Bonnie was so excited to see Stephen during his visits. I think she would have been happy to go home with him! Argo who has difficulty eating due to pancreatitis was happy and comfortable while mom was away. They were both well cared for and I definitely plan to use Stephen again!â

âWe loved Ashley, and more importantly our dog loved Ashley! Our dog Drake is very anxious, especially with new people. But within a few visits, Ashley had won him over and was "allowed" to give him butt scratches. She was quick to respond, kept communication open while we were gone, and sent frequent updates with photos. We knew Drake was in good hands. We'll definitely be repeat clients.â

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Shrewsbury
Brooke was an amazing Rover sitter! She took excellent care of Bessie and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. She sent regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that Bessie was happy, comfortable, and getting lots of love and attention. Brooke was reliable, communicative, and treated Bessie like one of her own. We came home to a happy, relaxed Bessie, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely book with Brooke again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and dependable pet sitter!

Emily is hands down the absolute best! I was stranded out of town for three extra days due to many, many flight cancellations. Every time I messaged her to ask if she could care for Blake another day she happily agreed! Blake (my senior dog) loves when sheâs there and I love it too because I donât have to worry one bit knowing Blake is safe and happy. I cannot thank her enough for what she does.

I was very happy with the care that Hope provided for my two pups while I was away. With every visit Hope provided notes and photos, and I could see that the pups were doing great in my absence. I came home to two happy, relaxed dogs who had been well cared for.

This was my first time using Rover to have someone check on my dogs. I was a bit nervous of how it would go since my dogs get scared easily of new people, but Karen was very patient and attentive with them and overall did a fantastic job! She provided updates during each of the check ins and bonded with the dogs as the days went by. I would 100% recommend Karen as a dog sitter and if I need someone to watch my dogs again using Rover, Karen would be my first choice!

Anne was absolutely wonderful with our four month old puppy. He loves meeting new people, but is still very energetic (and teething). She was very patient with him and added in lots of playtime to tire him out. We will be highly recommending her to friends and family in the area!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment.
