“Kayla was a fantastic sitter for my old dog, Champ! Her updates were frequent and thorough. She was conscientious of his special needs and I could tell from her photos that he felt instantly comfortable playing with her! 10/10”

About: I love animals and am doing this more as a hobby than to make money. I spent 3 summers working at a doggy daycare/boarding. I am the go to dog/cat sitter in my apartment complex, office, and with my friend group. I love to meet new furry friends! I have a very flexible weekly schedule with work. I usually make my own schedule. I work fully remote two days a week and am off by 3 on Fridays. No work and completely flexible Saturday and Sundays! I care for pets by following their established routines and providing attentive, compassionate care tailored to each animal’s needs. I believe it’s important to treat every pet as my own!!
“Abby was a great sitter who took excellent care of my pet for my time away. She was communicative and eager to hear how best to care for my cat. I can't wait to book her services again!”

“Alena is so good with my babies while I am gone! She keeps me updated on everything I need to know and makes sure to send me lots of pictures. I will be using her for all future trips if she is available!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 10 years old and have experience with a wide variety of animals, including both dogs and cats. Over the years, I’ve helped with everything from daily walks and drop-in visits to overnight house sitting. I was a regular sitter on my neighborhood’s babysitting and pet-sitting list for years before moving to St. Louis last year. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and take pride in being reliable, attentive, and making sure every pet is comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. I am currently on break from college at USC so I will have plenty of time to take care of and spend time with your pets! I take the time to learn each pet’s routine and follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special needs. I treat every home with respect and will keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Jacqueline was great with Momo! She was quick to respond to my messages over the holidays and attentive when following Momo’s specific meal routine.”

“Felt very comfortable with Suzanne walking our pups. She communicated with me before and after the walk, making sure she was clear about our pups needs and sharing pics from the visit. Definitely recommend Suzanne”

“Jess is always on time and has been a great help for us as new puppy parents! She is very flexible and informative which are two important traits we look for in someone taking care of our puppy. I would 100% recommend her if in need of puppy help!”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, growing up on a farm with both dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities. From small breeds like chihuahuas to larger, high-energy dogs like huskies and from a lazy Garfield to grandma’s 20 feral house cats, I’ve had hands-on experience understanding different temperaments, exercise needs, and behaviors. Taking care of pets has always been second nature to me—feeding routines, walks, playtime, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality and building trust with them. I also spent years working at a pet food center, where I learned more about pet nutrition, health basics, and how to help owners choose what’s best for their animals. That experience gave me a deeper understanding of overall pet care beyond just the basics. Whether it’s an energetic dog that needs activity or a more relaxed cat that just wants companionship, I’m comfortable adapting to what each pet needs. I treat every animal like it’s my own. I work a standard 8-4 morning shift Monday-Friday. So I can easily make your pet fit my pre/post work schedule. I am also looking to expand into the weekends, so on those big grocery days or weekend getaways, I have you covered from one off drop in visits to daily walks and check-ins. I have worked with many animals that need medication and serious surveillance so I am able to administer whatever need your dog or cat might have. Doctors appointments, specialized food schedules, rehabilitation exercises, and more! I am not your typical house sitter, I am a trained and responsible professional that is passionate about making your pet feel healthy, happy, safe, and well!
“Sara has been so helpful, communicative and wonderful! She was extra patient with our grumpy old man =) We highly recommend Sara for your pet sitting or drop in needs! Can’t wait to have her back in the future. Thanks Sara!”

“Ellie was great with our dog! It seems to reduce our little guy’s anxiety to have her come by & spend time with him. Ellie us very reliable & conscientious m. I highly recommend her!”

“Natalie was a life savor helping us in a last minute dog watching need! Our dog became sick just before a trip (unable to go to the boarders) and Natalie was able to help us with less than 24 hours notice! She took wonderful care of our dog and was great at giving updates!”

“We have used Jolene’s “Stop By” service several times now, while away on vacation, and she does a great job every time! Highly recommend! Thank you for taking such great care of Malkina Jolene!”

About: My pet care experience includes not only caretaking for my own dog and family friend's dogs over the years, but I also worked for a pet boarding and daycare facility for 2 years. This exposed me to knowledge about dog behavior, caretaking, playtime, and important details like specific needs of medicine and feeding methods for each dog in the facility of roughly 130 dogs. Additionally, my pup Bella has had a lifelong experience of many diagnoses such as mega-esophagus, acid reflux, and environmental allergies which have all required very specific feedings and medicines for her. Safe to say after all of these formative experiences, I'm very attentive to all specifics that your pup needs while you are away and happy to do it!! I'm a lifelong animal lover and I love to treat my pup like royalty (as shown in my pictures), because she is one of the most important things in my life. I will treat your pup with the same love and care as my own because they deserve it <3 I'm currently job searching for an additional part-time role to do with Rover, so my availability is pretty open right now for dog walking, dog sitting, etc. Before I do any caretaking for your dog, I do require meeting the dog(s) with the owner present on a separate day to make sure the dog is familiar and comfortable with me before I come over to take care of the dog(s). When I come over to your house to either walk or dog sit, I will first make sure I read all instructions carefully for what the pet owner wants & needs for their pup. Then, I will walk/dog-sit with them and send you some pictures of your pet to give you updates on how they are doing. I love it when people send me pictures/updates while I'm away from my dog, because it makes me feel secure knowing they are living well. Please let me know if you would like this or prefer not. Lastly, I will give them some pets and cuddles as desired and some play time so they have some enrichment time while I'm over. And of course, will make sure to lock up the house as instructed by the pet owner.
Clayton dog parents share their Rover experiences
Emily is hands down the absolute best! I was stranded out of town for three extra days due to many, many flight cancellations. Every time I messaged her to ask if she could care for Blake another day she happily agreed! Blake (my senior dog) loves when she’s there and I love it too because I don’t have to worry one bit knowing Blake is safe and happy. I cannot thank her enough for what she does.

I was very happy with the care that Hope provided for my two pups while I was away. With every visit Hope provided notes and photos, and I could see that the pups were doing great in my absence. I came home to two happy, relaxed dogs who had been well cared for.
