I've always had pets. I have always had cats, dogs, guinnea pigs, or ferrets. I'm versed in many kinds of animals and am happy to care additional small animals if needed. Short notice is ok as long as there are at least 2 days between the time I'm asked and the time of the stay so that there's time for a meet and greet. For repeat customers, I accept even same-day requests. I work 8 hours, 4 days a week. Since we do petsitting together, if there is a need for constant care, one of us will always be present in the home with your pet.

Safety is my #1 priority when caring for your pets. I make sure to watch pets attentively on walks and in the yard to ensure maximum safety. My services include grabbing mail and packages, watering plants, giving medications as instructed, daily walks as instructed, basic cleaning up after myself and your pets, daily updates and pictures, and following your regular schedule as closely as possible to ensure as seamless a change as possible while you get to experience a worry-free time away.

What are your cat's and/ dog's favorite toys and games to play? Do they pee in the house sometimes? Under what circumstances? Should I be watching for your cats scratching the furniture? Do they need medicine? Is there a special feeding routine? How long are they ok to be alone? What's their outside schedule like? What can I do to ensure a great experience for you and your pet? Are your pets allowed on the furniture? Are your pets food aggressive? Do your pets have bad habits, like snatching food off plates or getting into things they shouldn't? Is there anything else I should be aware of? What are your house rules? (Eg. No shoes in the house, close the blinds at night and open them in the morning, etc)
A typical day
I'm unable to care for hyper or excitable pups on my own, so I normally have my partner help me with these types of petsits. I am best suited with cats or senior dogs as well as pets with special needs. I like to strictly follow any schedules left for me and strictly follow any rules written. I also prefer care instructions written or typed and printed, so I can ensure the highest level of care and have confidence that I'm not missing any needs your pets have.

***Constant care pets will be an extra fee*** Constant care is care in which we cannot leave your pet alone for more than 3 hours. Meet and greets are free unless you need more than one before the stay, then the first meet and greet is free. My expertise is with older dogs, pets with disabilities (such as dementia or seizures), and pets that need medications. I'm also experienced in multi-pet homes where one or more pets are seniors/special needs and other pets are high energy or puppies/kittens. I have experience caring for pets who are recovering from operations as well. If your pet does need Constant care, we can negotiate a price that works for you.

Skye and Joey were very thorough in the meet and greet and prior communication. They were always very responsive and took great care of my senior dog. I was very worried about leaving him but he was in great hands with them!
Skye and Joseph were really kind and understanding about home rules. They made sure to keep Duke on schedule, and I'm glad to come back to a happy and healthy pup and a clean space after my getaway.
Skye and Joseph were great. We got updates on our cat and dog every day along with photos, and we were really appreciative of the additional communication when our dog tried to eat something off the ground that he shouldn’t have while he was on a walk, and then again when they were concerned that the cat hadn’t eaten all of his food. They were both completely fine, and it was really nice that they seemed very concerned with our pets’ wellbeing. Our house seemed well taken care of, very tidy once we got home, and just like we had left it.
I think they took care of my animals OK. But I was disappointed to come home to a sink full of dishes. Food left in my microwave. A dirty sheet pan on the stove, empty soda bottles in the kitchen and living room and the trash not having been taken out.. Based on that trash that I then had to take out, it would appear food that I left was taken home instead of eaten during their time in the house all just very odd and disappointing.
