About: Sitting in the kitten room is one of my favorite activities as a Humane Society volunteer. I appreciate any time I can get with cats — my dad and brother are allergic, so I didn’t have one growing up. My extended family provided, however. Growing up, you could always find me in a spare room with the cat at the family Christmas party. Then, in college, I had a roommate with two lovely kittens that I spoiled. Isa answered all of my questions about the process and gave me the chance to come meet her first. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I could walk. A home is incomplete without an animal or two. I completed one year of vet tech school and familiar with pet training I work from home full-time. I walk my walk 2-3 times a day around the neighborhood. My work schedule is flexible to allow pet catering I have a fenced backyard. One very friendly platt hound mix and 2 dog-friendly cats dog and cats always have fresh water. Yard is treated for ticks/fleas and mosquitoes.

About: I’ve always loved dogs, whether they were mine or those of friends. I’ve had dogs for many years, and they have been my best buddies! I adopted Stanley last September from Have a Heart Rescue. Stanley is very playful and loves to play with other dogs. He is only 17 pounds and full of energy and loads of love. He enjoys “walking” other dogs if he can get ahold of their leashes and loves to do zoomies in the yard and play tag with other dogs. As he is a small pup, I would prefer to only watch dogs up to 40 pounds and must be socialized with other dogs and people. As I am retired now, I would love to start dog sitting in my home and would be open to doggy daycare. I am rarely away from the house for more than two hours at a time. I have a fully fenced in yard with plenty of room to play. Dogs have always been allowed on the chairs, sofas and on the bed. Who wants to sleep on the floor? I have been unofficially dog sitting for almost 40 years, and have recently started dog sitting for pay. I believe it is a good idea for the dogs and owners to have a meet-and-greet as it’s a great way to make sure we’re all a good fit and gives us the opportunity to meet and talk about our expectations. I love walking the perimeter of the park, so dogs who enjoy walks will have plenty of opportunities to get out and "sniff the puppy newspaper." I’m happy to take dogs for several walks a day depending on their normal routine and energy level. I do leave the house for errands and activities, so dogs should be comfortable relaxing at home alone for a few hours at a time. I have a quiet, dog-friendly home with no resident pets, and I only host dogs from one household at a time. I have a large, fully fenced privacy backyard for supervised play and potty breaks, plus a dog door that can be closed and locked when needed. Dogs are welcome to relax on my large couch, which is always covered with waterproof pet blankets. At night, dogs can sleep in their own crate in my downstairs den, on the couch, or--if they’re well behaved without a crate--on a dog bed in my bedroom. I don’t provide a crate, so owners should bring one if their dog needs it. I prefer to meet new dogs before their first stay so I can learn their routine and make sure I can handle them comfortably and safely. I’m currently best suited for friendly, reliably housetrained adult dogs who aren’t strong pullers, destructive chewers, or determined escape artists.

About: I have been taking care of friends and family’s dogs for years and simply can’t get enough. I am a currently university. While not at college I live with Baxter my yellow lab, and three cats Binx, Goose, and Milo. I work as a Veterinary Assistant during the summers.I have first hand experience with topical, oral, and aural medication as needed. I am currently a university student. I have the most availability on weekends. I’m available daily during weekdays in the morning and in the evening. I like to start slow especially with the more shy pets. From that point I may use treats or some time for slow sniffing. Once I’ve built a trust with your pet I find it helpful for the dog to watch you pass their leash to me as a passing or trust. For walks the dogs are always leashed. I offer both short and long walks and will match the pace that best suits your pet from slow sniffing filled walks to fast paced trots. About: In addition to dog sitting and cat sitting for my family and friends, I have experience with taking care of birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and even fish. I’m here to have a relaxing day staying in or going for a run or walk to enjoy the sunshine. We can go for a game of tug of war in the yard! On the weekends (saturday & sunday), I have the most time and can dedicate the whole day to your furbaby. On the weekdays, after 4pm I can dedicate my time to enriching and providing pet care. I have a fenced in back yard, both my neighbors have dogs but we are respectful and understanding of each furbaby’s personality and try to make necessary boundaries. Dogs are allowed on the furniture. I have teo large crates if time alone is needed.
