“Mikayla took great care of my kitties while I was out of the country. My younger cat is especially wary of new people, but even she was snuggling up to Mikayla.”

“Madyson felt like family the moment we met, I knew she’d take great care of my lil guy 🥰 expectations exceeded! This was my first time using the sitting service and I’ll definitely do it again thanks to her.”

About: I love any kind of dog! Whatever care you need I will help fulfill that! Animals are the best things and can truly become your best friend! I do work at a school Monday-Friday staring around 8:30 and ending around 3:30. My schedule is pretty flexible and we can always chat with times if needed! Thank you! I’ve grown up with dogs and anytime I see one I love to pet or play with! Dogs are the absolute best animal and friend!
“She's an awesome sitter for my 3 dogs, she has been coming here on time and done her duty by letting my dogs in the backyard for 3 days straight definitely will hire her again in the future. Very reliable.”

“Summer was a delight to work with and our dogs loved her! She did as asked and always arrived and stayed for her drop ins as arranged. We would definitely hire Summer again for drop ins with our dogs loved:)”

“Bethany did such an amazing job! She was able to take our request last minute when our other sitter fell through and literally saved my birthday weekend. Her notes were thorough and I knew our babies were being well taken care of. 10/10 recommend!”

“I was so nervous to try Rover for the first time and leave my babies with someone new. One of my pups is super high energy and the other is reactive, and Brittney did great with their drop in visits. She handled some upset tummy issues with no complaints, tried to keep them from damaging our new sod, and sent plenty of cute photos. I felt so comfortable with them in her care, and am glad we’ve found a new, reliable sitter.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years, but honestly, it started way before that with my childhood sidekick: a stubborn little Scottish Terrier who ran the house. Since then, I’ve had experience with all kinds of pups—zoomie machines, cuddle bugs, picky eaters, and even dramatic divas. Whether your dog wants a new best friend or just someone to toss treats on command, I’ve got them covered. Safe, fun, and belly-rub approved! My current availability is weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4 PM for Drop-ins and I’m available all day on weekends. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets the care and attention they need throughout the week. Your dog will be in a calm, pet-free home with lots of love and supervision. I keep things safe, clean, and comfy, and I’m happy to follow any specific routines or crate your dog if that’s what they’re used to. Their comfort and safety are always my top priority!

“As first-time Rover users, we were really impressed by Sarah! She provided exceptional care for our two cats with a high level of attention detail. While our cats are usually extremely introverted and shy around strangers, she definitely gained their trust and they warmed up to her very quickly. Her check-in notes were incredibly descriptive, and she took the time to play with our cats during each visit to make sure they got attention and affection. She even handled an unexpected mess when it cropped up. Quite honestly, she went above and beyond our expectations. We would definitely trust her to take care of our cats again as well as strongly recommend her for anyone with anxious cats.”

About: I have dog sat, fostered or owned dogs since I was 20. I have worked with many dogs that have anxiety, pets with behavioral issues and senior animals . I am very protective and loving. Your dog will be my main priority. I do this full time. Recently, my son moved home and has a five pound Pomapoo . Your pet must be friendly with small dogs. I walk daily and have a large fenced in yard for play. I dog sit full time. I’m generally only gone for a few hours at a time. I am willing to stay home if anxiety/ health issues develops. I have a fenced in yard and walk two miles every day. At your home I would provide daily exercise and stimulation. Lots of love.
About: My experience with dog care began at age 12 when I started walking my neighbors' medium-sized Labrador and Golden Retriever mix during summer afternoons, gaining early hands-on experience. Later, I expanded my responsibilities by dog-sitting for family friends, looking after dogs of various breeds and temperaments, which helped me develop a deeper understanding of different canine needs. I'm currently working remotely as an English tutor, and I have the flexibility to set my own hours to match your schedule and needs. I can assure you that your pet will be my top priority, and I am open to any changes, such as extended care time that you might require. I have a small backyard with a fence and a secure balcony if you want your cat to spend time outdoors. My cat is fed three times a day at specific times, so I can easily accommodate a strict feeding schedule for your pet.
“Sara is extremely easy to work with, communicative, and reliable. She came through for my family at the last minute and did an amazing job. I highly recommend her services”

“Ashley did amazing with Iris! I needed a sitter last minute and she responded fast and agreed to watch her. Ashley is so sweet and seems to know what she is doing. I feel like I can trust her and that my dog is safe with her. I will be booking with her again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was about 14 years old. I grew up around a family pet and then in college dog sat for family and friends. Since moving into my teaching and now administration career I have a few friends and family that have continued to rely on me to help walk, care for, and watch their pets when it is needed. I currently work full time but would love the opportunity to continue to help others in need of pet care. I do not work far from my home and spend most weekends playing with my own pup. I have plenty of space and a yard for your furry family. I also have a 2 year pup of my own that loves all animals. He gets along with all dogs and even cats!
“Meg did an awesome job during pet visits where I had her stop by to feed and play with my two pups. She sent me thorough daily reports, cute pictures and kept me updated on how they were doing. I will definitely use her again!”
About: I have experience in helping my mom and grandma with their dogs. I truly enjoy caring for them. I love getting outside and playing with them. I currently work 3 days a week at the hospital. I have flexibility to care for pets during the week. I normally have about 4 days a week I could help. Safety is paramount. I always ensure each pet is safe for the duration of their stay with me. I treat each pet as if they’re my own.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Overland
We couldn't have asked for a better Rover sitter! Angie came over the evening before our trip for a meet-and-greet, which immediately put us at ease. She took the time to get to know Molly and even played with her so Molly would be comfortable before we left. While we were away, Angie was dependable, caring, and treated Molly like she was her own. Every visit wasn't just a quick potty break—she spent time playing with Molly and making sure she had attention and companionship while we were gone. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Molly was in such great hands while we were in New York. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, kind, and genuinely loves animals, we highly recommend Angie. We will absolutely be booking her again. Thank you for taking such great care of Molly!

Emma was wonderful with both of our dogs while we were away. She communicated clearly throughout and sent multiple photos, which gave us peace of mind knowing our 6 month old puppy and 10 year old dog were happy and well cared for. We would highly recommend her to anyone!

Alex did beyond an amazing job and I could not recommend enough! My Huskey and Cat loved all the attention and I didn't need to worry about them as he made sure they had everything they needed! 12/10 if you're needing someone to watch your pets while on vacation!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
