“Sarah was incredible with our two cats while we were on a trip! She was highly responsive and proactive, and we felt like our cats were in really great hands the entire time.”

“Amanda watched my two cats several times and was always great! Pictures or videos every day, let me know if she’s running behind schedule, and took good care of my kitties.”

“Latasha looked after our kitty (Lazare) and house for a week in July. She was very professional and courteous. She took the time to write down instructions on our meet and greet. Lazare loved her! I appreciated her communication and photos and she also took good care of the house and plants. I wholeheartedly recommend Latasha.”

“Absolutely great! Super friendly, understanding, flexible and the cutest fur baby! So grateful to have had her and making this vacation less stressful for us as we've never had a dog sitter before. The pictures were the best addition as well, thanks a million! Will ask for you again and recommend you highly by name.”

About: I am an animal lover who has grown up with and cared for dogs my whole life. I am a college student, majoring in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. This has given me experience caring for many different kinds of animals such as songbirds, small mammals, and reptiles. My biggest passion in life is caring for animals, and I would love to care for your dogs!! I am currently home from college for the summer, and have plenty of time to care for your dog. While there are specific dates that I will be unavailable, I have a very free and flexible schedule outside of those dates. I know all dogs have different personalities and needs. I am happy to do whatever is necessary to make sure your dog is comfortable and happy.
“Katelyn really was taken with the boys and they with her. She played with them and cuddled, then sent pictures every day. I never felt a moments worry, I had complete confidence in Katelyn and I wasn’t disappointed. Would re-book with her in a heartbeat!”

“Holli did a great job of caring for our pets and home while we were gone. If she had a question she didn’t hesitate to ask for clarification. We will definitely be requesting her to watch our pets in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. Have had dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. Let me care for your fur babies and treat them as if they were my own. ♥️🐶🐱 I’ve been on rover for about 2 years with many different clients and have clients outside of rover as well with friends + family. Highly experienced. I am my own boss for a remote business so lots of flexibility. Available for check ins / walks anytime of day you need. Overnights/House + Pet sitting I can be there full time if needed as well. I treat each animal as if it were my own fur baby - love to cuddle, play, and relax - whatever the pup needs from me.
“Mario is fantastic!! Very caring and awesome with my dog, Rocky!! He is professional, friendly & went out if his way to make sure Rocky has everything needed. I am definitely using Mario again & again!!”

About: I’m that girl who will say hi to every animal I see. I grew up with a beagle and now have black lab mix named Louie, who I rescued in 2019. He is my “child”. 😂 im currently figuring out my career goals after working in accounting and finance roles for the past 15 years. This gives me plenty of flexibility during the day to care for your pup! I have fostered dogs through Is Today My Day rescue and have successfully gotten 4 dogs adopted. It’s not easy saying goodbye but makes me so happy knowing they are going to loving families. I’m so excited to meet your furry family member and love them like one of my own! I’m currently very flexible during the day time so I’m pretty open to dog walks or drop ins when needed. I no longer provide boarding services. My dog has full run of my home. He sleeps in my bed and I have no issues allowing others to do the same. I have a fenced in large patio area with partial yard to potty and play off leash.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Maryland Heights
We couldn't have asked for a better Rover sitter! Angie came over the evening before our trip for a meet-and-greet, which immediately put us at ease. She took the time to get to know Molly and even played with her so Molly would be comfortable before we left. While we were away, Angie was dependable, caring, and treated Molly like she was her own. Every visit wasn't just a quick potty break—she spent time playing with Molly and making sure she had attention and companionship while we were gone. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Molly was in such great hands while we were in New York. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, kind, and genuinely loves animals, we highly recommend Angie. We will absolutely be booking her again. Thank you for taking such great care of Molly!

Absolutely great! Super friendly, understanding, flexible and the cutest fur baby! So grateful to have had her and making this vacation less stressful for us as we've never had a dog sitter before. The pictures were the best addition as well, thanks a million! Will ask for you again and recommend you highly by name.

Courtney is a warm, professional and detail oriented person who wants to do the best job possible. She saved the day when my regular sitter was unable to help. She was calm and meeting my somewhat reactive German Shepherd and was comfortable with that dogs energy which probably made the dog feel much more comfortable. They became good friends at the end. I would highly recommend her!

Kelsi was great, accepted for us last minute as first sitter cancelled and we were stuck 600 miles away. She came over for a p.m. walk within a couple of hours. She saved us for sure! She gave thorough update and plenty of pics. We will try to book with her again next trip we take!
Lacey has been wonderful to work with. She’s patient, caring and very responsive! Working with our new puppy and our older rescue was a special experience and Lacey did an awesome job checking in with them, respecting their limits and communicating with me about their visits. I’d definitely book Lacey again as my pups have grown very comfortable with her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
