The BEST person you could possibly have to walk/watch your dogs!! My dog LOVES Nicholle and her boy Rocky. I can tell how much he enjoys playing and walking with them just by the cute pictures she sends me! She’s always on time, responds quickly, and has great availability. I got so lucky to have found such a great person to check in on my baby while at work. I couldn’t recommend Nicholle more!!

About: I grew up with small dogs. Bred dogs. Trained dogs. Now have large dogs. When I babysit dogs, they go home well groomed. I'm in a very pet friendly neighborhood where everyone knows the dogs names (and sometimes the owners). I'm semi-retired and usually work from home when I do work. I currently walk mine 4xday. I could use more exercise but my dog is getting older and can't keep up. I have large crates if your dog would rather be in one. Mine runs free in the house and yours can too. I'm down to 10 tennis balls due to some serious puppy time. I can let your dogs meet the neighborhood or walk them in more private areas if they prefer. Several neighbors pass out treats daily, so the dogs have something to look forward to on their walks here.

I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I take the time to learn their routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m currently off for summer break so I have very open availability. I am available for drop ins, walks and over night stays! All first time sits booked between 7/26-8/25 will receive 10% off their booking! I treat both the home and pets with the utmost respect. I keep everything clean and secure, maintain the pet’s normal routine, and provide regular updates with photos so owners can relax knowing their pets are happy and well cared for. About: I've always had dogs. I unexpectedly lost one of our furry companions and I have an empty yard and dog safe household. I loved walking my dog, I would love to walk yours. I'm in a season of availability to care for a few extra pups for anyone who needs it. I have a big yard with lots of shade and sunny spots. Just a little York terrier next door. I'll walk as much as needed to get the dog(s) tired and fed whatever diet is needed. I have a 4 ft chain link fenced backyard with a latching gate, a little Yorky next door who is all bark and no bite, named Salvy, he's friendly. He only comes out a few time a day. Easily avoided if necessary.

About: I've lived with pets my entire life, including my own pets and foster pets. I have training with puppies as well as senior dogs, and I am comfortable with all sizes and breeds. I am additionally familiar with dogs with territorial issues, as well as ones with discomfort in regards to other humans or other dogs. I have been pet sitting for the past 4 years, and I have experience with taking care of many dogs at once. I will be working part-time at a children's daycare over the summer. My hours there in June will be 1:30pm-4:45pm, and in July they will be 1:30-5pm, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pups! I am completely free on the weekends, which opens up even more time for the best care I can provide. I will prefer to care for pets in their own home rather than mine. I am familiar and comfortable with all approaches of care, such as crating or free-roaming depending on request! I am comfortable and willing to help with play time, walks, accident clean-up, feeding, and more.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by both cats and dogs, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, that love turned into something even deeper: a commitment to helping animals who need it most. I’ve spent years rescuing cats (non‑professionally) from difficult street conditions in Costa Rica, giving them safety and a chance at a loving home. Today, I share my home with my wife and our three rescue cats, all adopted there and cherished like family. They’re my babies, and they remind me every day how much joy and love animals bring into our lives. Your pets won’t just be looked after. They’ll be cared for with the same love, respect, and attention I give my own. I have a flexible schedule and can easily adjust it on weekdays and weekends to take care of dogs and cats, preferably before 3:00 p.m. I can provide pet care exclusively in my clients’ homes. I know how important it is for pets to keep their routine, even when their owners are away, so I follow their usual schedule and habits to help them feel comfortable and secure.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was a kid. I would adopt a hundred if I could, but since I can’t I think this app is the next best thing! I am a teacher off for the summer so I am free Mon-Sunday anytime to help! I wish I could adopt every animal, so this job is the next best thing! About: My experience in pet care is broad and customized to each animal's specific requirements. I have experience working with older pets, adult dogs, and puppies, so I have a comprehensive understanding of their unique needs regarding care. I am different from other sitters because I take a different approach to establishing comfort and trust. I place a high priority on positive reinforcement methods, particularly for puppies, as it helps them learn important commands while making sure they have fun. I concentrate on the unique medical requirements of elderly pets, such as managing medicines and addressing mobility issues. I work hard to provide every pet in my care a loving environment, whether it means attending to their specific nutritional needs, exercise requirements, or affection. I work flex at Amazon so my schedule is pretty open. Just tell me what days you need me and I’ll do my best to accommodate for that. I take the time to learn about the unique personality and preferences of each pet, which makes them feel more at ease. I am open in my communication with pet owners about their unique habits and any worries they may have.

I worked to train my family dog, and can help reinforce training for your pets too! I am a very caring and loving person and will share these qualities with your pet! I normally work from home, but had to travel for almost two weeks recently. My dog is my coworker and I was so worried how she would do all day without me there when my family was at work and school during the day. Thank goodness for Monica! It was so wonderful that she was able to come walk my dog at noon every day while I was away. Monica is so sweet and extremely reliable!!! She sent pictures every day of their adventures on their walks which made me smile when I was able to finally glance at my phone for that day. She also gave our cat lots of snuggles too while she was there! I will definitely reach out to her if I need to go out of town for work again and will highly recommend Monica to anyone who needs help with their pets in the future. Thank you Monica!!!! 🐾🐾🐕🐈‍⬛🐾🐾

  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
