About: I worked at Banfield pet hospital in different states, thus expanding my knowledge of different species from different regions. My grandmother owned a grooming business when I was a little rascal, which allowed me to be around fluffy friends all day. I’m currently choosing to step away from my desk job to fulfill my true passion of caring for animals. I understand I’m too queasy to be a veterinarian, but I can handle all the other care needs. I have a large, clean basement with concrete flooring to allow any accidents to be cleaned up promptly. I live near a dog park as well and love walking around my neighborhood. On average, I bike 10 miles a day so I’m in great physical shape.
“She is absolutely amazing with my pup! she is timely and great with communication. My dog looks forward to his weekly walks with her! She even brings her super sweet pup with her and provides socialization for him. If you need a walker she’s the one!”

Rest easy knowing your pet is in loving good hands :) I am available weekdays to care for your pet. I am home on weekends for boarding. Please call or text to let me know your needs My yard is fenced, the home is safe and designed for pet care. I will also provide photos for you of your pets care to keep your mind peacefully at ease
“I can tell she cares for my dog the way I do when I’m not around! I am so thankful to have found someone that I can fully trust with my pup and with my home. When I leave my house I tell my dog “Virginia is going to come” and he gets so excited and looks out the window to wait for her. She deserves the best review, but I don’t want to share her! She truly is the best and we appreciate her so much!”

“Taylor was great at communicating and let me know when she got there and then when she was finished. She took a lot of pictures of Mollie which made me feel very comforted. When I got home Mollie was clean and happy and had just got up from a nap on the couch which was perfect! Thank you so much for taking care of my dog!”

“Kate has been so great from the start! I asked to meet without my pups first to explain my situation because one is reactive and she was more than willing to accommodate and hear me out. I would love to use her again in the future. 😊”

About: I grew up with four dogs and five cats under the same roof! My friends and neighbors rely on me to care for their fur babies when they are out of town or have a long day at work. I have experience administering medication to animals, and I love working with any age! I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I love taking walks and would love to bring your furry friend along! I’m also a fan of couch cuddles! I know that your pet does not know me (yet), but I understand the body language of cats and dogs, and I will give them the time and space they need to feel comfortable!
About: I’ve been dog and cat sitting since high school. I have house sat with animals as well as just dropped in to feed them and walk them. Family friends, relatives, and friends of friends have always trusted me to help out. I’m currently a graduate student looking for extra work taking care of your pets. Weekend sitting works best for me but depending on location I can do drop ins as well. I have an apartment with plenty of sidewalks nearby and plenty of green space around. I am warm and welcoming to all pets and want to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I currently have no other pets of my own.
About: Since pet sitting in Chicago a number of years ago, I’ve always wondered if I’d find my way back to it. My love of animals has only grown since then, and with my flexible schedule and itch to want to be around animals more, now is the perfect time to get back to pet sitting. I’d love to give you peace of mind while you’re away and know your sweet baby/babies are in the best care. I have a kitty at home who has diabetes, and receives daily injections. I’m comfortable learning about any needs of your own pet, and help to make life easier for you and your fur baby! Im a hairstylist so I have a very flexible schedule. I am free for drop ins 6 out of 7 days of the week, with some evening availability during the week. I’m also able to do overnights and weekends! I am unable to have in home care, but I’m happy to travel to you! Safety and security will be the first concern for your pet, and our time together. I will follow the rules set by you and your fur baby, and will keep us both happy and taken care of!
About: Hi there! My name is Jess and I am a veterinary assistant with both personal and professional animal care experience. I am well-versed in the care of all mammals, big and small, as well as exotics like reptiles and birds. I am comfortable working with pets young, old, and those that need a little bit of TLC. Feel free to reach out if you’re searching for a reliable and experienced animal care expert! I am currently working full time, and my schedule varies daily with occasional weekends. I typically work afternoons and evenings, so mornings work best for me to come and hang out with your babies, but I am more than willing to stop by in the middle of my shift if I’m able to, or even after! I am always willing to work with you and your pet’s needs to make something work. As long as your animal is comfortable with me in their area for extended periods of time and/or overnight, I’m comfortable as well. I am willing to negotiate price on any of my offered services. I also provide services like nail trims, anal gland expression, and medication administration! If you’re interested in any of these, reach out and we can chat! :)
“Danielle was a gem. She was efficient, timely, flexible and very, very good with the dogs. This is the first time that i've USEDrover and I am one. My experience was outstanding and I thank Danielle for being there for me when I needed it the most. If you want a responsible individual that you feel comfortable with her and your animals... Daniel is your girl?”

About: My family has always had two dogs my entire life. Ranging from a Saint Bernard to a Beagle. I also have watched multiple family friends pets (multiple dog and cat households). During college I fostered 1 dog and several cats for a local animal shelter. I have two cats now so I can’t foster anymore but I still want to get my animal fix in! I work a slightly different schedule than a normal 9-5. I have Mondays and Tuesdays off and don’t work in the mornings. This allows for me to come at times most people are working. I will make sure I follow every single instruction given to me. I also understand that each animal has their own unique behaviors. It is important to read and approach animals slowly so I can give them time to warm up.
“Kat did a fabulous job walking my dog 3 times a day while at grandma's house. She really helped out when the dog wouldn't get in the car to be transported to my mother's home for his stay. She was flexible, very personable, and responsible. Kat was just a delight. I am not sure who enjoyed Kat's help more, my mother or my dog! This was my first time using the service and will use again.”

About: Although I have had family dogs my entire life, I have one official year of pet sitting experience for clients. I was employed by a longstanding local business (20 years running) and I found a love for the job. I decided I wanted to branch out and see if I could manage myself in this line of work! Most of my experience is multi-day in home stays. I am open to drop-ins and walking gigs as well. I have experience with dogs who are still being trained and may have trouble with other animals or have separation anxiety. I am able to administer oral medications, and I would be comfortable with injections with some instruction/practice doing so. I am well suited to the lifestyle - I am childfree and currently work part time as a contracted sitter for a local business. So I am more than used to the irregular schedule that can come alongside being a pet caregiver. I do an initial meeting with the client - I will ask a series of questions based on typical needs/things I feel may be helpful base on what I learn about your particular pet. After that, I follow your instructions to a T. I am an animal lover, and I give your pet the same amount of attention and care that I would give to my own!
Olivette dog parents share their Rover experiences
Julie is a diligent, responsible, and thoughtful sitter. We never worried about our dog while he was in her care. She made sure his needs were met and our expectations fully exceeded. We especially appreciate all the pictures and videos sent so we can keep up with our little guy :) We would recommend Julie without hesitation to anyone looking for a sitter.

Minglu was amazing with Scooby! He’s usually shy and a bit unsure around new people, but she was so calm and kind with him. She took him to Forest Park for a long walk, and I swear he came back a whole new dog so happy and relaxed! I really appreciate her jumping in last minute. Totally recommend her if you’re looking for someone gentle and dependable!
