“Jennifer is the best dog sitter! Our dogs have so much fun with Sammy & Archie and running around in her backyard. She is great with medication schedules and making sure our dog who is having mobility issues stayed safe & healthy.”

“Francine is wonderful!!! She sent so many pictures so I knew what my little guy was doing. I was worried because he is an anxious little guy but he was totally fine.”

“Jacob is a wonderful pet sitter. He took care of my two cats and kept me updated with pics and notes about how they were doing. One of my cats’ had trouble adjusting but he encouraged her everyday to come out of her safe place. She finally came out on the last day. So I will definitely use him again. By the way he took my cats in an emergency situation and contacted me right away. Thank you to Rover, but mostly a huge shout out and thank you to Jacob.”

“Teddy had a wonderful stay with Cait and her family. We got frequent updates and we could tell that he was being spoiled and treated like family. We felt comfortable leaving Teddy with Cait and he is already looking forward to spending more time with Honey again.”

“Laronna is a very friendly and warm dogsitter. We did a meet-and-greet first which went well, followed by leaving my dog with her for 4 nights. She got to play with Laronna's dog. She sent an update with pictures each night, which was appreciated while I was out of town. I plan to leave my dog with her again, since it worked out well.”

“Karen is amazing! She took care of "Bala" (our tiny Chihuahua) for more than a week, and "Bala" felt at home. She sent us pictures everyday and gave us a mini review of her daily routine that gave us a lot of comfort. We feel very happy that she stayed in good hands and would love to contact her in the future. Karen has a lot of experience with small breeds.”

“Raina was exceptional with our dog, Auggie. She sent daily videos and pictures with updates. It was very clear that he was well taken of, loved, and exercised daily. We were able to really enjoy our family vacation, knowing he was happy! We can’t wait to book with her again.”

“I was a little worried when I dropped cloudy off. This was the first time he ever went to someone besides family, but Ms. Leah made me feel so comfortable and Cloudy had so much fun over there. I appreciate her and her time and all she did to make this a great experience. I recommend her a 100 out of a 100 thank you so much,”

“Lori was amazing! She took such good care of our girl. We received photos everyday with an update of everything they had done; car rides, a special treat, walks, playing ball, meeting new friends! We are looking forward to Lori taking care of Penny again later this year when we will be gone for a longer amount of time. Because of her loving care, we will be able to enjoy our vacation without worry. Thank you Lori!”

“Asia was so sweet and professional. When we first arrived Asia and her fur baby Crypto welcome us. Asia made my lil boy (Biskit) feel so at home. I asked Asia to send me text, pictures, and videos, and she did just that. That really made my heart fill of joy to see pictures and videos of my lil boy(Biskit) and to know that he was well taken care of. We thank you so much Asia from the bottom of our hearts 💕 Sylvia and Antwon Dudley.”

“Stella had an amazing time with Ashlie and Phillip! They are very comfortable with large dogs and made me feel so at ease leaving my pet in their care. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Olivette
Our precious one received such a warm welcome and exceptional care. Even after having an accident during the night, he was treated with kindness, patience, and great attention. We are truly grateful for the wonderful care provided and will definitely come back in the future. Thank you so much!

Laura was so great with Magnus. From the first picture she sent while I was away he looked so comfortable and happy. I knew she would be a great sitter for him the moment we met. I will absolutely be booking with her in the future. Laura was great about asking questions and keeping me updated during his stay with her. She sent adorable pics which eased my separation anxiety. I would definitely recommend Laura to anyone who has a little guy. She's AWESOME!!!

Lesley was a true blessing when we were frantically looking for a sitter last minute. It was our time using Rover and first time using a non-family member to watch Asher so we were very anxious! From meet-and-greet and communication while Asher was with her, to his tail waging goodbye at pickup, we’re grateful to Lesley (and her pups) for welcoming him.

We had an amazing experience with Asia. She cared for our dog, Nylaa, for almost a week and truly made us feel at ease the entire time. This was our first time being away from Nylaa for that long—and her first time away from us—but we never had to worry. It was clear Nylaa was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. She kept us updated with pictures and messages throughout the stay, which meant so much to us. We absolutely recommend her and would 100% use her again in the future.

Melanie was awesome. She sent daily updates and pics of my little boy. It was is first time staying with other dogs and I was a little nervous at first but Melanie ensured that everything would be ok. Nugget enjoyed himself and made 2 friends during his stay :). I would definitely book with her again!

We had Brianna watch our dog over Thanksgiving and couldn’t be more happy and grateful for her amazing work. She’s truly a dog whisperer. She’s patient, caring, and very attentive. Our high-energy pup clearly had a blast with her; even the Fi collar shows she got tons of exercise and playtime every day. The photos and updates were so thoughtful, and it’s obvious our dog felt happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
