“Haley took great care of Bia. She was easy to communicate with, easygoing and hit it off with Bia the instant they met. I felt totally confident that Bia was in good hands with Haley!”

“Karen was fantastic and professional. She came to meet my cat before her drop-in visits and immediately made me and my family feel comfortable. I feel lucky to have found her on my first time using Rover!”

“Alicia was great with my shy and anxious pup. She also agreed to check in on him last minute. I would definitely recommend her to watch your pups and will be using her services again. Thanks so much!”

“My cats were in good hands with Katie checking in on them and spending some time with them as well! She even left some cute treats and toys for them. Katie went above and beyond and also collected my mail while I was out of town. I’ll definitely Italy be reaching back out next time I need a sitter.”
“I was extremely nervous to leave my cats as i went out of town. Suzanne did phenomenal. She was extremely communicative and caring with my two kitties. I will absolutely request Suzanne to take care of my cats every time i go out of town! :))”

“Taylor was incredibly accommodating and responsive. She followed instructions perfectly. Definitely recommend and hope to use her services again in the future!! Thanks Taylor!!”

“Danny & Jennifer were amazing! I can not recommend them enough. From the daily updates, to our specific accommodations, to the care and love they showed our cats, I truly couldn’t be more grateful for these two! Leaving our cats in the hands of someone else is very stressful, but Danny and Jennifer made it so easy for us to not worry as we knew they were in the best hands possible!”

“Maddy did a great job with Fritz! I was so thankful that she kept coming back when we had an issue with a jammed lock on the first day and Fritz was obviously so happy to see her. Fritz’s new medications are a lot for him to get used to, so I’m so glad to have found someone who could give them to him.”

“Emma was so sweet and thoughtful during her drop in on my puppy! Georgie loves her! She made time to meet beforehand to get to know the pup and meet in person which I really appreciated. Will definitely be using her services often!”

“Excellent cat sitter! Goes above and beyond. My younger ginger kitty is especially shy and has struggled to connect with other sitters, but all 4 cats were playing and accepting treats from Anne Sophia :-D”

“Katelyn really was taken with the boys and they with her. She played with them and cuddled, then sent pictures every day. I never felt a moments worry, I had complete confidence in Katelyn and I wasn’t disappointed. Would re-book with her in a heartbeat!”

About: I have a Bachelor of Science in Zoology, experienced in animal husbandry, and experience as a veterinary assistant. Since I was little, I have always loved caring for animals of varying species. My time as a veterinary assistant helped me to gain experience in handling large and small dogs, and cats, giving medication, walking dogs, calming and soothing cats and much more. While going to school for my Zoology degree, my neighbors, friends and co-workers would often rely on me to watch their pets. My responsibilities included: checking in multiple times a day, staying at the owners house, boarding dogs, feeding on a schedule, administering medication, daily walks, and the occasional bath and/or nail trim. I am currently a Barre 3 instructor part time and a full time stay at home artist. My schedule is flexible and am able to care for your pets during various times of the day. In my home, the pets are extremely well taken care of. They are given ample amount of time outside to release their energy as well as lots of time for cuddling. My home is full of calm and loving energy where the animals are free to relax. While caring for your pets in your home, I believe in keeping them as close to their normal routine as possible. I enjoy letting the animals adjust to me slowly so I am able to gain their trust and confidence.

Latasha looked after our kitty (Lazare) and house for a week in July. She was very professional and courteous. She took the time to write down instructions on our meet and greet. Lazare loved her! I appreciated her communication and photos and she also took good care of the house and plants. I wholeheartedly recommend Latasha.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Olivette. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
