I was trained through the Fayetteville Animal Shelter to walk and care for dogs, and I spent many hours volunteering there. During college, I boarded dogs through Rover for three years, giving me experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I grew up with a high-energy yellow Lab named Covey, who sparked my lifelong love of dogs. We spent countless hours going on walks and playing outside. Today, I have a cat who somehow thinks he's a dog after being raised around one! About: I currently have one doodle of my own, and soon a border collie. I've also volunteered at an animal shelter in which I walked, played with, fed, and cleaned up after multiple different dogs and cats. I also travel pretty frequently and because of that, I’ve found this platform invaluable. So aside from wanting to meet and hang with your cute pets, I’d love to return the favor and help out fellow pet owners! Especially in those dire, last minute boarding/sitting situations. (been there 😅) Growing up, my family fostered retired racing greyhounds so I’m very comfortable around sensitive and unsure dogs. For several years I worked and lived on various animal farms- all of which had/bred livestock guardian dogs that I worked very closely with. I am experienced in senior care and administering medications (including injections) to all sorts of animals. I work for myself doing residential carpentry and remodeling, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m usually available for last minute bookings. I also never work very far from home. Your dog’s comfort and safety always come first. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and even the bed if that’s what they’re used to at home, and I have several dog beds set up around the house too. I also have a large crate available if your dog needs a quiet, secure space to settle into. I keep a close eye on dogs at all times, dog-proof the areas we’re in, and make sure fresh water is always available.

Maddy did a great job with Fritz! I was so thankful that she kept coming back when we had an issue with a jammed lock on the first day and Fritz was obviously so happy to see her. Fritz’s new medications are a lot for him to get used to, so I’m so glad to have found someone who could give them to him.
