I am a PhD student and graduate assistant at Saint Louis University, and my schedule varies depending on the day. I can perform most of my work tasks from home and will communicate anytime I will be gone for more than 4 hours if your pet is not used to being alone. When house sitting, I live my life in your home while taking care of your pets. I always check for any conflicts before accepting a booking to make sure I can best accommodate your pets' needs. I am happy give you insight into what my schedule looks like during the duration of the booking to make sure this is works for the both of us.

I am organized, clean, and observant. While at your home, your pet's care is my top priority. I always make sure to leave no trace whenever possible so you come home to a clean space. When house sitting, I send daily updates in the evening to summarize my day with your pets, including lots of pictures. If I notice any odd behaviors, I will always reach out to ask what is normal for your pet and keep you updated with any changes. When dropping in or going on a walk with the dog, I let you know which route we took and provide pictures and/or videos. When dropping in on a cat, I will always provide pictures and keep you updated on their food and water intake, behavior/demeanor, and what we did during the visit.

If your pet has any quirks or favorite things, let me know so I can learn more about your pet before the visit. Also, please let me know where your pet's supplies are located, such as their leash, food, treats, kitty litter, etc.

I provide a calm demeanor and befriend your pet at their pace so they are as comfortable as possible when I enter their space. I adapt to the pet and prefer to keep them on their routine as much as possible. If your dog loves to go on walks, I'll bring my walking shoes and take them on a little adventure. If you cat loves to snuggle on the couch, I'll turn on a movie and we can spend our time snuggling. I follow their lead and make sure we enjoy our time together, whatever that may look like.

I was raised on a farm where I cared for horses, cats, and dogs. I grew up showing Missouri Fox Trotting horses, and this grew my love for animals. In my free time, I love spending time with animals and have done petting for over three years in the St. Louis area. I am flexible and like to follow your pets' lead and their routine to make sure we both have the best experience possible. I have a variety of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, from 10 weeks old to end of life. I am comfortable administering oral medications, caring for pets with medical conditions, walking, grooming, daily care, and whatever else your pets need throughout my stay. I have significant experience with dogs and cats of all breeds and backgrounds, and I maintain a calm atmosphere to ease any stress they may experience while you are away. I will love them like my own!

Emma was very conscientious and communicative, and she sent me lots of great photos while caring well for my fur babies with tons of play and affection. I highly recommend her services and will definitely contact her for future visits!
This was our first time using Emma for our pets and we would definitely hire her again. She is a great communicator and very reliable. She went the extra mile to make sure my senior cat got his medicine and sent us pictures every day, even of our hide and seek champion cat. She was also very tidy and left our home better than she found it. We really appreciate the great care she gave our dog and cats.
Emma was very flexible when my plans changed last minute, and she was great with the cats. Indulging them and taking many cute pictures.
We couldn't be happier with Emma! From the moment we left, she made us feel completely at ease. She sent pictures every day and gave us updates on all of our pets at least twice a day—often more. It was so reassuring to see their happy faces and know exactly how everyone was doing while we were away. Emma truly went above and beyond. Not only did she take excellent care of our pets, but she also helped coordinate with roofers who needed access to our home during our trip. Knowing she was there to handle unexpected things gave us tremendous peace of mind. When we got home, all of our pets looked happy, healthy, and well-loved. Bandit even looked a little trimmer, which we were thrilled about! It was obvious that she spent quality time with them and cared for them as if they were her own. Finding someone you trust with your pets and your home is priceless, and Emma exceeded every expectation. We would book her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter. Thank you, Emma, for taking such wonderful care of our furry family!
