Information Virginia P. would like to know about your pet
I like the giant breeds, but no preferences. I have a lot of experience caring for Mastiffs, Labradors, Retrievers, Border Collies, Westies, Frenchies, Newfoundlands, Boxers and many, many others. I like to know the dogs routine and how a typical day for them goes. If there are any medications or if the animal suffers from anxiety, arthritis or has any issues/ailments, if they like other dogs, what commands they use for their pet. I will always do a meet and greet and find out what all of the necessities are and where everything is located. I like to find out who their veterinarian is. I'm pretty thorough on finding out the ins and outs of the animal and their owner.
A typical day
I love being around animals and I love the outdoors. I have a great throwing arm for catch, I love snuggling, petting and having fun with them. We go for car rides to the park or a stroll through the neighborhood. I take care of whatever needs the client has for the animal. I am definitely an animal person, I bond with them very quickly and I enjoy spoiling the heck of them (within guidelines of the owner)

I have over 20 yrs experience with housesitting, dog walking and caring for animals. I received a BS in Animal Science from Texas A&M. I have many years experience working as a Vet Tech (daily care, surgeries, medications, handling, senior animals, walking, play times) Animals are my passion and my joy. I have worked with all types: cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, turtles. I have dedicated half my life to taking care of and helping animals. I specialize in senior animals and animals with special needs or ailments/issues that might arise. I have cared for animals with Diabetes, leg/hip surgery, arthritis, anxiety and many other conditions. I enjoy spending time with animals daily and giving their owners comfort while they are out of town, or at the office for the day. I try to make the animals, as happy as they can be, while their owners are away and give the owners sense of peace while they are not with their pets. I don't have any breed that is my favorite, but I am fond of large breeds. I love learning about new breeds and definitely read about the breed if I am unfamiliar. I have an incredible group of vet techs and doctors I can talk with about any issue/ailment that the animal might have. I always try to follow the owners schedule with their pets, as close as possible, and I am more than willing to spend extra time with them, if need be.
