A typical day
Every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and entertained while their humans are away. I can tailor each experience to your pet’s personality and energy level - whether that means long walks with plenty of sniff breaks, backyard games of fetch, or cozy cuddle sessions on the couch. My goal is to make every visit feel like a mini vacation for your pup, filled with joy, comfort, and connection.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs my entire life, and all of them have been rescue pups with very unique personalities and backgrounds. Because of this, I'm a patient and loving pet parent. I have taken care of senior dogs, and those with health challenges. I also have experience caring for dogs with incontinence issues, and I've changed lots of doggie diapers (disposable and washable). Outside of my full-time job, I work as a volunteer & social media manager for a St. Louis-based dog rescue group.

Melanie took excellent and living care of my little guy. She sent a photo or video every one of the 16 days he was with her plus a daily update. She has a huge fenced backyard too!
She good care of our dog Lily. She sent pictures and videos.
Melanie did a great job with my Yorkie. She kept me informed throughout his stay. I came back to a happy energetic pet. I highly recommend her. Hopefully, she will be available the next time need a sitter.
Melanie is great! My Annie has terrible separation anxiety and Melanie kept her close and comforted. Will definitely be using her again!
