“Taylor has been a fantastic support for me and the new pup. She is prompt and consistently arrives on time. She is also communicative and flexible. I appreciate her help when I can't be there for my 'kiddo.'”

About: I worked at Banfield pet hospital in different states, thus expanding my knowledge of different species from different regions. My grandmother owned a grooming business when I was a little rascal, which allowed me to be around fluffy friends all day. I’m currently choosing to step away from my desk job to fulfill my true passion of caring for animals. I understand I’m too queasy to be a veterinarian, but I can handle all the other care needs. I have a large, clean basement with concrete flooring to allow any accidents to be cleaned up promptly. I live near a dog park as well and love walking around my neighborhood. On average, I bike 10 miles a day so I’m in great physical shape.
About: Hi, I’m Tazh! I’ve cared for animals of all kinds — from energetic dogs and cuddly cats to horses, chickens, and other farm animals. Whether it’s daily feeding, walks, grooming, or just keeping your pets company, I treat every animal like my own. I understand that each pet has its own personality and needs, and I make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. With hands-on experience in both farm care and household pet sitting, I’m comfortable managing feeding routines, medication, exercise, and even light stable or coop care. You can count on me for reliable updates, plenty of photos, and genuine care — no matter how big or small your animal family is! Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine because my schedule is very flexible. I have the freedom to adjust my days around walks, feedings, or overnight stays, which allows me to give each pet the time and attention they need without rushing. Whether it’s early-morning drop-ins, midday walks, or evening check-ins, I’m able to work around my clients’ needs and make sure every animal’s routine stays consistent and stress-free. I care for pets in their own home by following their normal routine and keeping them comfortable in their familiar space. I handle feedings, walks, playtime, and cuddles — whatever they’re used to! I always treat my clients’ homes with respect and keep pet parents updated with messages and pictures so they know everything’s going smoothly.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years, but honestly, it started way before that with my childhood sidekick: a stubborn little Scottish Terrier who ran the house. Since then, I’ve had experience with all kinds of pups—zoomie machines, cuddle bugs, picky eaters, and even dramatic divas. Whether your dog wants a new best friend or just someone to toss treats on command, I’ve got them covered. Safe, fun, and belly-rub approved! My current availability is weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4 PM for Drop-ins and I’m available all day on weekends. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets the care and attention they need throughout the week. Your dog will be in a calm, pet-free home with lots of love and supervision. I keep things safe, clean, and comfy, and I’m happy to follow any specific routines or crate your dog if that’s what they’re used to. Their comfort and safety are always my top priority!
About: Although I have had family dogs my entire life, I have one official year of pet sitting experience for clients. I was employed by a longstanding local business (20 years running) and I found a love for the job. I decided I wanted to branch out and see if I could manage myself in this line of work! Most of my experience is multi-day in home stays. I am open to drop-ins and walking gigs as well. I have experience with dogs who are still being trained and may have trouble with other animals or have separation anxiety. I am able to administer oral medications, and I would be comfortable with injections with some instruction/practice doing so. I am well suited to the lifestyle - I am childfree and currently work part time as a contracted sitter for a local business. So I am more than used to the irregular schedule that can come alongside being a pet caregiver. I do an initial meeting with the client - I will ask a series of questions based on typical needs/things I feel may be helpful base on what I learn about your particular pet. After that, I follow your instructions to a T. I am an animal lover, and I give your pet the same amount of attention and care that I would give to my own!

As a flexible part-time worker, I don’t mind driving or going the extra mile to make sure your home and pets are cared for like family I care for pets by following their normal routines as closely as possible. I take time to earn their trust, give them space when needed, and show affection when they’re ready. I handle feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions with care and attention to detail—just as I would for my own pets. My goal is to keep them happy, healthy, and stress-free while you’re away.

I treat every dog like family, focusing on their comfort, routine, and happiness. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or calm company, I’m committed to giving pets the same care I give my own. Since I’m home for winter break, I have plenty of free time to focus on giving pets consistent, attentive care. My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to plan walks, feeding times, playtime, and check ins around each pet’s needs. With no school commitments right now, I’m able to be present, reliable, and fully available to make sure your pet feels comfortable and well cared for. About: I’ve been dog and cat sitting since high school. I have house sat with animals as well as just dropped in to feed them and walk them. Family friends, relatives, and friends of friends have always trusted me to help out. I’m currently a graduate student looking for extra work taking care of your pets. Weekend sitting works best for me but depending on location I can do drop ins as well. I have an apartment with plenty of sidewalks nearby and plenty of green space around. I am warm and welcoming to all pets and want to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I currently have no other pets of my own.
About: My first word was “woof!” I’ve had dogs ever since I was born and I absolutely adore animals. I’ve worked with big dogs, little dogs and puppies. I have been the main dog sitter in my neighborhood and for my family and friends for years. My dogs are my babies and you can absolutely trust me to give your baby the best time full of cuddles, playtime and walks! I don’t have a busy schedule so I will have plenty of time to care for your pet! I may work another job but it is very lenient so I can call off or work around my scheduled time. I will follow any and all instructions you have for your pup and be incredibly mindful of your home and of your dogs boundaries and surroundings.
“Candace has been great to work with! She's very communicative, reliable, consistent, timely. Not to mention, she obviously cares very much about my Harvey and takes great care of him! She goes the extra mile to play with him and pet him, depending on his mood, and always cleans up if he's had an accident in the house before she arrives. Candace also takes very cute pictures of Harvey on their walks, which I always appreciate.”

About: I'm a big fan of caring for animals, and I have lots of energy to provide your pet with all the attention they deserve. If your dog wants to walk, we'll get in a good walk, but if your dog wants to run, I'm also able to put in the miles so we both get some exercise. I don't have experience with training puppies, but I am happy to support any on-going training by following through with established protocols (specific feeding times or amounts, specific walk times, etc.). I have a flexible job that allows me to build my own schedule from week to week, so I have lots of time to care for pet needs. All pets will have their basic needs met plus more! I will attend to whatever is needed with love and care - feeding, walking, playing, snuggling, and cleaning up all the messes that can come with animals too.
Overland dog parents share their Rover experiences
Booked a series of walks from Merrell for our rescue pit mix and rescue greyhound, and they loved every day! Came home happy and ready to rest each time. Merrell was easy to work with and very communicative on the app, I will look forward to booking again any time we need a helping hand with dog walks!

Minglu was amazing with Scooby! He’s usually shy and a bit unsure around new people, but she was so calm and kind with him. She took him to Forest Park for a long walk, and I swear he came back a whole new dog so happy and relaxed! I really appreciate her jumping in last minute. Totally recommend her if you’re looking for someone gentle and dependable!
