“It was a big relief to find hosts willing to take my Sadie in when we were going on vacation over the Thanksgiving holiday. I was a little concerned because I'd never left my pup with anyone prior to this experience. I was provided picture updates and when I called to check on Sadie, they let me know that she was doing ok. I felt this was a very positive experience and Sadie seemed really happy to have other pups around that she could socialize with. My Sadie seemed to especially connect with the hosts female black lab named Kimber who was about the same age as she, 3 yrs old. I would certainly recommend boarding your pet with this family.”

About: I am a dog lover with grown children just 10 minutes from Lambert Airport. Your dogs will have free reign of the fenced yard and home. I have baby gates strategically placed in case we would need to separate them yet still have the enjoyment of family life. I have a large kennel available for comfort at night and when I am away if they prefer. Your dog can enjoy walks to the park for exercise and boredom busting or running if they prefer to stretch there legs (I am up to about 3 miles running). I also keep a kiddie pool full of clean water for the dogs who like to splash and cool off. I have 2 friendly dogs myself who are always up to having company. My 19 year old daughter also lives in the house, she is also a dog lover and has gone to training classes at the human society. She enjoys training dogs and teaching the dogs sign language. About this sitter: Mom to 2 grown children and 2 furbabies. I do work full time remotely at home. I volunteer with Special Olympics and St. Louis Track Club. I enjoy gardening and walking with my dogs. Why I love dog sitting I have always loved dogs it was not until I was 13y.o. when we came across a dog that was going to be shot because he did not want any females that we convinced my Dad we needed to save that dog. That was 46 years ago. Since then I have had one-three dogs in my home ever since. They are family.

“Sarah opened her home to my girls and made them comfortable. They usually go to their granny's but all were going on this trip, so it was a very big deal for them to stay elsewhere. They played, walked, rested, and probably were questioning coming home, they were given so much attention. Sarah shared photos and even with a snowstorm ensured they were safe and had fun. I was very pleased. We will call upon sarah again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since 2008. I taught our miniature pincer and chihuahua mix named Rosie how to sit, jump, and rollover. My present-day dog named Bunny, she is the sweetest dog in town. I’ve taught her how to low-five for treats, lay on my legs during Sunday naps, and keep to herself on walks (she’s a very social dog). Wake up, let the dog(s) out, feed them breakfast, and wipe their feet if it is muddy out. Let them out during lunch and feed them lunch, then let them out again after work (4pm). Feed them dinner, then let them out again around 9pm before bed. I work from home full-time, so these tasks are consistently met. In my own home, I stick to the schedule outlined above. In somebody else’s home, I would also stick to a schedule that has been provided by the owner.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a little girl and to this day I rescue animals or I give them a safe home until I can find there forever homes. I’m a stay at home mom looking to make money for my kids. I’m available all day every day. I run on routine. I have a fenced in yard and a chocolate lab who loves to have friends to play with. I am always attentive and aware of all or any animals around me
