As a pet sitter, I specialize in services to cater to the needs of pet owners who require assistance during the day. During drop-in visits, I will stop by the client's home to check on their pet(s), provide food and water as necessary, and offer plenty of love and attention. For dog walking services, I will take the pet(s) out for a walk, making sure they get plenty of exercise and fresh air while their owner is away. For doggie day care, they receive up to 8 hours of care in our home during the day or overnight boarding; they must be neutered/ spayed, potty trained and up to date on all vaccines flea/ tick medicines if staying in our home. I am flexible with my schedule and able to provide services at different times of the day to accommodate the client's needs.

Pet care experience

As a pet sitter, I stand out due to my lifelong love and experience with dogs and cats. Growing up with a jack russel terrier and pug mix taught me the importance of patience, attention to detail, and a genuine love for all animals. Currently, as a husband/ wife team, we have a chihuahua mix, Opal, who lost her sister last year. With the loss, there is a hole in our hearta for more furry friends- that's where yours come in! My husband and I, as a self-employed individuals with a flexible schedule, I have the ability to provide drop-in visits and walks during the day or doggie day care/ boarding overnight, ensuring that pets receive the care and attention they need while you are are away. Our commitment to providing the highest level of care, coupled with my reliability and passion for animals, make me a standout pet sitter that pet owners can trust and rely on.

Natalie did a fantastic job with Sam. She was very easy to communicate with, very responsive to my questions and concerns, and sent pics to let me know he was doing well. I'm very happy and Sam is too!

Natalie is outstanding! Both she and Opal were very welcoming when we met. It was very comforting to know my pups stayed in a calm, quiet home while I was out of town. Also, Natalie was very patient and understanding when I made a mistake with my initial booking and helped me correct it. I’m very glad to have found Natalie!

I used this service in March to board my dog for four nights and felt compelled to leave an honest review for other pet owners considering booking. As a first time Rover user, I was ok with the rate listed, satisfied with the reviews and with the responsiveness by "Natalie S." so I felt confident booking with her. My primary concern is that the sitter I booked, Natalie, was not the person who actually cared for my dog. All of my in-person interactions were exclusively with her husband, and I don't believe he ever introduced himself. He handled both drop-off and pick-up and was fairly disengaged. Toward the end of the stay, "Natalie" contacted me to adjust the pick-up time from the morning to afternoon, which I did my best to accommodate. When I sent a message that I was about 30 minutes away for pick-up, I was informed my dog had an accident in the crate and her husband was having a hard time getting it cleaned up before I arrived. Assuming it was urine, I suggested they bag the bedding if there wasn't time to launder it. When I got there, her husband was waiting outside with my dog, his belongings crammed into his folding crate. There was no information or debrief offered. When I asked whether the bedding needed to be washed, he simply said yes, without any further detail. It was only when I got home that I discovered my dog had defecated in the crate and that feces had squished inside the folded crate with the blankets. This was not disclosed to me at pick-up, which I found to be unprofessional and inconsiderate. While I have no reason to believe my dog was harmed, I was under the impression I was hiring a specific, vetted caregiver, and that is not the service I received. The lack of transparency at pick-up, combined with the fact that I never actually met the person I hired, means I will not be booking with this sitter again. I'd encourage other pet owners to clarify in advance who will actually be caring for their pet.
