“She's an awesome sitter for my 3 dogs, she has been coming here on time and done her duty by letting my dogs in the backyard for 3 days straight definitely will hire her again in the future. Very reliable.”

“Lauren has been amazing with our pup. She is super patient with our playful, sometimes stubborn and now teething puppy. She has also been a great communicator and extremely reliable. We are so grateful to have her help us with mid day check ins as we transition back to school and work.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals all my life! I grew up with a total of 5 dogs, 7 cats, mice, fish, and gerbils. We had Dalmatians, terriers, and greyhounds. My last dog was a border collie mix so I understand how important a long, mentally engaging walk is. Spending quality time with your pet to make sure that they’re happy, comfortable, and thoroughly loved on is my top priority! I work from home in St. Charles, MO. For my boarders, I am able to have eyes on any dogs 24/7! For walking, I am able to stop by anytime of day with great flexibility. I am in a ranch style-house with a fully fenced in backyard. I work from home so your dog will have eyes on at all times! We have a corgi mix and small cat, who takes no true-interest in dogs. The corgi-mix, Ozzie, is well socialized and loves to play with others! I only take one client at a time to make sure your dog stays safe in the environment and there is no risk of major size or height difference between animals!
“We had never left our dog with anyone but family before since she can be incredibly shy and anxious but Cheryl was wonderful! She took such good care of our girl. Our dog warmed up to her so quickly and she enjoyed her visits from Cheryl which made our travels enjoyable to know she was being taken of. Cheryl went above and beyond to give her the love and attention she is used to. We can’t recommend her enough!”
“Haley is the best pet sitter! She’s very conscientious, communicative and responsible. She truly cares about my kitties and I know they are in good hands with Haley when we’re vacationing !”

“Brett was wonderful and very punctual. I have an extremely large dog and he handled him like a pro. They are best buddies now! Thank you, Brett for taking such good care of my big baby!”

“Kaylee was super communicative and the pups loved her! She took great care of the dogs and left the house neat and clean. Even our dog who is usually so shy around strangers loved her. Thank you!”

About: I have taken care of different sized dogs since I was a teen. I have experience in hand feeding and drinking for dogs who are ill. Taught dogs to walk on a leash, and basic commands and tricks with my own dogs. Experienced with Australian Shepherds, Australian Kelpies, Labrador Retrievers, Doodles, and mixed breed small dogs. Dogs have different energy levels so you have to adapt care to their specific age and breed. I do not walk dogs in the heat of the day or if the pavement is to hot so your furry friend can stay healthy. I prefer to walk your companion early in the morning or in the evening. I am currently retired and looking for ways to fill my time doing things that I love! I have a lot of time to spend with your fur baby! I do not leave small dogs unattended when going out in a yard even if it is fenced. I do not walk dogs in the heat of the day in the or if the pavement is too hot to the touch. My dog is currently recovering from a illness and she is being hand fed and at times drinking from your hand. She is older so we walk at her pace. We take all of our dogs to obedience classes and work with them regularly so they are good dog citizens. Water is always left out and I encourage the dog to drink after walks. I follow the feeding instructions given by friends and family members for their pet's. Treats are given at training and when we leave to go somewhere. Myself and my husband are the people who pick up a lost dog if they allow us to and take them home or to shelter so they can be reunited with their families.

“Aubrey was awesome!! She did a meet-and-greet with my lil guy, got all his little quirks and needs down, and took great care of him!! I also was in need of a sitter last-minute and she was very quick to respond, so she was a great find :)”

About: I had dogs and cats growing up. I will take care of your fur babies with love and compassion. I am dependable, honest and caring. I'm currently working part-time so I'll have plenty of time to take care and have fun with your pups. I'm available Monday through Friday. I have a fenced in yard or I can take care of them at your house. I will walk, cuddle or exercise with your fur babies.
“Taylor was soo sweet and attentive to our kitty while we were gone. She was great at communicating any schedule changes and left a detailed review of her visits, along with some cute pictures of our cat. I would definitely recommend her for your future pet-sitter needs!”

“Elizabeth was wonderful!! Did a drop in for our pup while we were at work. She gave lots of updates, sent pictures, and even brought a package inside! We will be using her again. Thank you Elizabeth!!☺️”

“Rebekah was amazing and took great care of our girl. She made sure she ate even though Poky wasn’t wanting to and made sure to take lots of photos and gave us detailed notes of what happened and not over the top either so I could quickly see how things were going while still relaxing on vacation. She also signed up very last minute to watch her, responded quickly and even came to visit to let Poky get familiar with her. Would definitely use her again to watch Poky.”

About: I've always had a love for dogs and have always jumped at opportunities to dog sit for family and friends and I don't have a lot of experience with training but I can do basic training. I am currently working but I have a lot of down time and I love to work with dogs and make sure they are taken care of. I always make sure the dog has a trusting bond with me and is comfortable and well taken care of at all times night or day if needed.
About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. Neighbors always looked to me as a trustworthy caretaker. Even when I moved to a new state on my own, I was able to build a consistent clientele that could always count on me. I worked at a dog daycare/boarding center for 3 years, became certified to groom dogs, done baths, nails, walks, and stayed at people’s homes (including boats)! I am currently working on training my own dog. I begin my work day early in the morning and am done by 11:30am or 1pm, which leaves lots of time to care for your pet! My days off are Friday/Saturday and only work for 3 hours Sunday morning. I cannot take in your pet at my home, as I have my own furry friend who strongly values his personal space. At your home, I can do whatever is needed!

About: Dogs have always been an important part of my life. As early as adolescense, I helped care for litters of puppies. I have had the delight of caring for dogs of various ages and temperments in more recent years. From bottle feeding runts to helping anxious elder dogs feel comfortable and safe, I have enjoyed providing compassionate care and companionship. I know that your pet/s are an important part of your family and will provide resposible care for them with the same level of compassion that I would my own. I am available most weekdays and some weekends after 12pm. I have good flexibility for in-house sitting overnight and can work with you if you need any care outside my window of availability If I am caring for pets in your home, I believe in "leave it better than you found it." I will respect your space and treat the care of your space as an extension of my duty to your pets.

Absolutely great! Super friendly, understanding, flexible and the cutest fur baby! So grateful to have had her and making this vacation less stressful for us as we've never had a dog sitter before. The pictures were the best addition as well, thanks a million! Will ask for you again and recommend you highly by name.

Taylor was excellent! She took amazing care of Blue during her drop-in visits and really put my mind at ease while we were away. She sent check-in cards with pics for each drop in and it was obvious Blue had a blast! Taylor even went as far as wiping his muddy paws before he came inside from playing in the rain 🥰🐾 definitely will be using Taylor in the future! So happy to have found such a great pet sitter!!

Christina and her mom were great with our dog, Kiwi. Kiwi is a rescue that we have had for a couple of years. She loves my daughter and I dearly, and she is hesitant with other people. Christina and her mom had Kiwi convinced in no time that they were the best! I loved getting pics and status updates. Kiwi will ask for this duo again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
