About: Hi👋 I'm Jill. I grew up on a farm and have always been around dogs & cats. I currently have two cats of my own. They were both strays and came into my life at different times. I love interacting with all types of animals. Since I can't have a dog of my own yet due to living situations, I would love to take care of yours! My sister and brother in-law have two dogs that I watch when they go out of town. One is a bigger 70 lbs Australian Shepard and the other is a smaller 10 lbs toy poodle. I work full time, but am available anytime on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays most weeks. 6 a.m. is the earliest I'm available and 10:30 p.m. is the latest. Availability breakdown: Sundays- Before 11 a.m. after 5:30 p.m. Mondays- After 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays- 6 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. (Anytime) Wednesdays- After 3:30 p.m. Thursdays- 6 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. (Anytime) Fridays- Before 8:45 a.m. after 7:30 p.m. Saturdays- 6 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. (Anytime) My two cats are grazers so they get fed twice a day and eat when they get hungry. They have a water fountain that circulates the water to mimick a stream. They seem to enjoy moving water better than still standing in a bowl. When I watch my sister & brother in-laws dogs I take them for walks twice a day and we play & cuddle. I work on tricks with them too. I normally use their dry food as treats if we work on tricks for a while.
“We found Heather very last minute after our other dog sitter cancelled on us. Heather came in and helped with our very anxious 2 year old Nia. She came in and was greeted by a very anxious and scared Nia but was very patient with her and Nia eventually came around and by the end, they were best buds. Heather also helped with our very old cocker spaniel who is deaf and not the greatest at going outside to potty. We can’t say enough kind words about Heather. She is caring, responsible and has vet tech experience. We will definitely use her again!”

About: I've grown up around animals. Ive wanted a cat since I knew they existed, and since getting my first cat, I've taught him to sit, sit pretty, high five, and jump through hoops. Currently fostering a second with a compromised immune system, so I am no stranger to anxious pets, or pets with a complex care system. I work a part time job and have classes from 8-12 on Mondays and Wednesdays. Ive got my own cats, so ill spend at least hour and a half or so each day spending time with them and doing chores at home, anything else is free time to spend with your pet. Ive got lots of energy to play with your dog and love to cuddle. I can keep a steady schedule with food, bathroom, play, etc. Also able and willing to do grooming like tooth brushing, baths, and other procedures.

When we initially planned our vacation I was VERY worried about dog care. I looked into several pet sitters but decided my dogs needed to stay at home. We do not crate our dogs at home and I really didn't want them in a crate somewhere unfamiliar. Then we found Billie on Rover and decided to give her a try. She has been great!! We went on a 2 week vacation and she did a wonderful job keeping us informed as to how things were at home. Allyson took great care of Maverick and he loved her - he’s sometimes selective in who he likes but he immediately felt comfortable with her. She sent me updates, left my house exactly as it was, and even picked up his poop in the yard. I had to change plans and times a few times and she was more than accommodating. I’ve already booked her two more times because I know I can trust she’ll take care of my pup.
Charlotte and Wouter were wonderful. Between the time I scheduled them for my trip and when they came, I adopted 2 rescues totaling 4 dogs! They graciously agreed and we moved forward. What a great job they did. They stayed closely in touch, sent pictures often and my dogs were in great shape and happy when I returned. My 4 include 2 puppies which keep things pretty busy around here. They took everything in stride. I can’t recommend Charlotte and her husband, Wouter, enough. They are terrific!
