“Heather is amazing! This is the second time that we hired her to watch our two dogs while we were away. Our 5 year-old border collie had (his first) grand mal seizure while outside with her and she was calm and reassuring all while protecting his head from the concrete. She reached out to ask me if he had ever had a seizure (which to our knowledge he had not had) and after talking I told her I would check our Ring camera to see if it recorded it. Sure enough the whole thing was recorded and we were so grateful with how well Heather handled Marlo. On top of that Heather had to clean up after our GSD had diarrhea in the house (likely stress) and worked hard to leave everything clean and neat. We highly recommend her and will definitely request Heather to stay here next time- but hopefully for a less eventful visit!”

About: Hi👋 I'm Jill. I grew up on a farm and have always been around dogs & cats. I currently have two cats of my own. They were both strays and came into my life at different times. I love interacting with all types of animals. Since I can't have a dog of my own yet due to living situations, I would love to take care of yours! My sister and brother in-law have two dogs that I watch when they go out of town. One is a bigger 70 lbs Australian Shepard and the other is a smaller 10 lbs toy poodle. I hope to bring peace of mind to you and happiness & excitement to your pets. I work full time, but am available anytime on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays most weeks. 6 a.m. is the earliest I'm available and 10:30 p.m. is the latest. Availability breakdown: Sundays- Before 11 a.m. after 5:30 p.m. Mondays- After 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays- 6 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. (Anytime) Wednesdays- After 3:30 p.m. Thursdays- 6 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. (Anytime) Fridays- Before 8:45 a.m. after 7:30 p.m. Saturdays- 6 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. (Anytime) My two cats are grazers so they get fed twice a day and eat when they get hungry. They have a water fountain that circulates the water to mimick a stream. They seem to enjoy moving water better than still standing in a bowl. When I watch my sister & brother in-laws dogs I take them for walks twice a day and we play & cuddle. I work on tricks with them too. I normally use their dry food as treats if we work on tricks for a while.

“Latasha was wonderful! All the cats loved her as soon as they met her. She has a natural talent when it comes to getting to know your pets. She sent pictures of our cats to us everyday on vacation and was super responsive on her phone when we wanted to see our pets. It was such a relief knowing that she was here with them. One of the things I appreciated the most was that when we got here it was as clean as when we left it. She took all the notes and she performed the tasks laid out to her exactly like we did with the cats. She also helped keep them on their schedule by following their feeding times. Latasha played with them which is honestly more than I do sometimes. They may have gotten a little spoiled with all the attention lol. Each day she would send images but she'd also send a little story or observation of the cat. That was nice because it helped us to know that they were acting in their usual ways and not sad that we were gone and missed us. I would 1000% book Latasha again. If you've never had a cat sitter (we hadn't) she will answer all your questions and really set your nerves at ease.”

About: I've grown up around animals. Ive wanted a cat since I knew they existed, and since getting my first cat, I've taught him to sit, sit pretty, high five, and jump through hoops. Currently fostering a second with a compromised immune system, so I am no stranger to anxious pets, or pets with a complex care system. I work a part time job and have classes from 8-12 on Mondays and Wednesdays. Ive got my own cats, so ill spend at least hour and a half or so each day spending time with them and doing chores at home, anything else is free time to spend with your pet. Ive got lots of energy to play with your dog and love to cuddle. I can keep a steady schedule with food, bathroom, play, etc. Also able and willing to do grooming like tooth brushing, baths, and other procedures.

When we initially planned our vacation I was VERY worried about dog care. I looked into several pet sitters but decided my dogs needed to stay at home. We do not crate our dogs at home and I really didn't want them in a crate somewhere unfamiliar. Then we found Billie on Rover and decided to give her a try. She has been great!! We went on a 2 week vacation and she did a wonderful job keeping us informed as to how things were at home. Our dogs are spoiled and I'm a worrier so receiving her frequent texts giving me updates was much appreciated! I could tell by the texts she was spending a great deal of time with our pups. The first time Aaliyah met my dogs they instantly took to her. I confirmed my booking with her immediately because I could tell how comfortable they were with her already. She took great care of my house and I was sent multiple pictures a day which put my mind at ease. Even in the snow, she took my energetic girl out to play ball. Although Aaliyah had to cancel part of her stay I was able to make everything work and I appreciate the time she was able to spend with them. I would recommend her to anyone and I will be rebooking with her in the future.
Charlotte and Wouter were wonderful. Between the time I scheduled them for my trip and when they came, I adopted 2 rescues totaling 4 dogs! They graciously agreed and we moved forward. What a great job they did. They stayed closely in touch, sent pictures often and my dogs were in great shape and happy when I returned. My 4 include 2 puppies which keep things pretty busy around here. They took everything in stride. I can’t recommend Charlotte and her husband, Wouter, enough. They are terrific!
