I am 47 years old. I worked as a vet tech for 20 years. I currently work from home and have a degree in Criminal Justice. I have a husband, 30 year old daughter, several cats, 1 bunny, fish, and a duck. Have also owned snakes, hamsters, and Guinea pigs in the past. I foster kittens through Tenth Life Cat Rescue, specializing in the bottle babies. I can take care of all kinds of pets and any type of special needs they may have. I can give injections, both Sub-Q and in the muscle. I can give oral meds, no matter what form (liquid, pill, powder). I don’t charge extra for medication administration or specialized care. Your fur babies will be very spoiled by me, all while maintaining your house rules!

I can stay over night, as well as come during my lunch break if needed. I’m very paranoid about escapes, so I’m very careful when traveling through doors to ensure no escapes happen, as well as ensure doors are securely latched.

Heather was so great with my cat! Heather was responsive, responsible, and caring with my cat while I was on a trip for about 5 days. Heather entertained her and even watered my plants while I was away, and left my cat and my apartment the same way I left them :)
Leaving Bailey is never easy, especially because of his seizure history, but Heather made the entire experience stress-free. She was dependable, caring, and attentive, and it was obvious that she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. Knowing Bailey was safe allowed us to enjoy our trip without constant worry. We are thankful for her help and would happily recommend her to friends and family. Bailey will definitely be seeing her again! 🐾
Heather is amazing! This is the second time that we hired her to watch our two dogs while we were away. Our 5 year-old border collie had (his first) grand mal seizure while outside with her and she was calm and reassuring all while protecting his head from the concrete. She reached out to ask me if he had ever had a seizure (which to our knowledge he had not had) and after talking I told her I would check our Ring camera to see if it recorded it. Sure enough the whole thing was recorded and we were so grateful with how well Heather handled Marlo. On top of that Heather had to clean up after our GSD had diarrhea in the house (likely stress) and worked hard to leave everything clean and neat. We highly recommend her and will definitely request Heather to stay here next time- but hopefully for a less eventful visit!
Heather was great! She took very good of my animals and sent updates regularly. She was also very diligent in ensuring my escape artist cat stayed inside. I felt very good about leaving them in her care!
IF I COULD GIVE MORE THAN 5 STARS I WOULD. HEATHER WAS WONDERFUL WITH MY "BABIES". FROM THE INITIAL MEET AND GREET, WHERE I MUST POINT OUT, SHE WAS EXTREMELY GENTLE AND SWEET WITH MY CAVALIER WHO IS A PUPPY MILL RESCUE AND SCARED AND TIMID OF EVERYONE. WHILE WE WERE GONE SHE SENT UPDATES AND KEPT US INFORMED. I WOULD AND WILL USE HEATHER AGAIN. THIS IS JUST A SIDE NOTE BUT I THINK THE HOUSE MAY HAVE LOOKED BETTER AFTER SHE LEFT THAN WHEN SHE ARRIVED:) THANK YOU HEATHER, YOU ARE JUST WONDERFUL!!!!!

Dates de la garde
I Work full time, current schedule is Tues-Sat 10am-7pm, but may change. While I do work from home, my work is not portable. I do need to be in my office at my home to work. I can stay over night, and/or come before work, during lunch, and after work.
