“Cara provided daily drop in visits for our two kitties while we were away. She did a wonderful job! She and her kiddos came daily (which we had discussed/approved ahead of time) during the requested time frame each day. Daily pics and updates were sent. The kitties were fed, played with and well loved while we were gone. And the one that usually hides with strangers even came out to play on occasion. The litter boxes were kept clean as requested and she was great about cleaning up a mess or two when the kitties started getting homesick. About: Hi👋 I'm Jill. I grew up on a farm and have always been around dogs & cats. I currently have two cats of my own. They were both strays and came into my life at different times. I love interacting with all types of animals. Since I can't have a dog of my own yet due to living situations, I would love to take care of yours! My sister and brother in-law have two dogs that I watch when they go out of town. One is a bigger 70 lbs Australian Shepard and the other is a smaller 10 lbs toy poodle. I hope to bring peace of mind to you and happiness & excitement to your pets. I work full time, but am available anytime on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays most weeks. 6 a.m. is the earliest I'm available and 10:30 p.m. is the latest. Availability breakdown: Sundays- Before 11 a.m. after 5:30 p.m. Mondays- After 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays- 6 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. (Anytime) Wednesdays- After 3:30 p.m. Thursdays- 6 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. (Anytime) Fridays- Before 8:45 a.m. after 7:30 p.m. Saturdays- 6 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. (Anytime) My two cats are grazers so they get fed twice a day and eat when they get hungry. They have a water fountain that circulates the water to mimick a stream. They seem to enjoy moving water better than still standing in a bowl. When I watch my sister & brother in-laws dogs I take them for walks twice a day and we play & cuddle. I work on tricks with them too. I normally use their dry food as treats if we work on tricks for a while.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets and began learning to train since I was 9. It’s my biggest passion and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I’ve cared and trained for puppies, young dogs and senior dogs, and know that each one has different care and needs. I’m a full time Police Dispatcher working Monday-Wednesday from 3pm-11pm and Thursday/Fridays from 7am-3pm, weekends off (usually). With set schedule, I can do one visit throughout the week and two or as many as needed throughout the weekends. I’ve always been set on this “ if you’re not watching them then it’s best for them to stay in their kennel” this highly goes for puppies since they are like babies. They will chew on anything and everything they can get to. I always makes sure they have clean water and set a timer for meals. Potty breaks are very important after dinner and every other hour of course. Exercise is highly important as well, mostly for the younger ones since they have so much energy. Eventually they get bored if not taken out and become destructive so keeping them entertained is important and fun.
