“Suz is incredible. She is warm, flexible, reliable and my fur baby absolutely LOVES her. I have so much trust in her when I’m out of town to take care of my kitty. Absolute gem!”

About: Although I have had family dogs my entire life, I have one official year of pet sitting experience for clients. I was employed by a longstanding local business (20 years running) and I found a love for the job. I decided I wanted to branch out and see if I could manage myself in this line of work! Most of my experience is multi-day in home stays. I am open to drop-ins and walking gigs as well. I have experience with dogs who are still being trained and may have trouble with other animals or have separation anxiety. I am able to administer oral medications, and I would be comfortable with injections with some instruction/practice doing so. I am well suited to the lifestyle - I am childfree and currently work part time as a contracted sitter for a local business. So I am more than used to the irregular schedule that can come alongside being a pet caregiver. I do an initial meeting with the client - I will ask a series of questions based on typical needs/things I feel may be helpful base on what I learn about your particular pet. After that, I follow your instructions to a T. I am an animal lover, and I give your pet the same amount of attention and care that I would give to my own!
“Melanie did a great job taking care of my kitty when I was away. My kitty had some vomiting issues before my trip and I had to change the frequency of visit last minute. She was able to accommodate the request no issues. She also made sure to let me know my kitty didn’t vomit in every visit summary. She did everything as I requested.”

“I came home to a happy and healthy kitty!!!!!! Taylor was very easy to communicate with and it was so great to know my cat was being taken great care of while I was away!!!!!!”

About: We've had experience caring for pets for over 20 years. Our home is dog friendly and we have a dog of our own. Her name is Pepa and she is really good with other dogs. Over the years we have done pet sitting for friends and family. We have a fenced backyard and are able to allow plenty of outdoor play. We will make sure our dog and dog guests stay on their usual meal schedules as well as take them on regular walks, outdoor play, and potty breaks. We usually work during the day M-F and are available after 4pm on most weekdays. We are flexible when there is a need to drop off at an earlier time, we would just need to schedule that in advance. On the weekends we have a fairly flexible schedule and are available between 8am-8pm We have a friendly dog, we go on walks, have outdoor play in our fenced backyard, and we I have a crate for a dog up to 40lbs (if needed). We will try to keep dogs on their eating and potty schedules, and can administer some medications as needed.

“Paige was always quick to communicate and respond whenever I had questions; they were also very flexible when we had an emergency issue with one of our lights and had to have an electrician over during the duration of the sit. Everyone was well when we returned and their food and water was all topped off!”

“Our 2 cats have never been away from us since we rescued them 3 years ago and Quia did her best to make them feel at home. Bonus: She was very prompt with responses, too! We are so lucky to have found her here on Rover.”

“Bonnie was great! My cats are very skiddish around other people, and usually are never seen when other people are around, especially my senior cat. She made sure they were well taken care of and before then end of my trip, she had been graced with the appearance of the senior, and the other even came out of hiding for her.”

“Emily is a fantastic pet sitter! She met us before our trip and was so sweet. She watched our 2 cats while we left for the weekend and sent us photos of a happy kitty getting nothing but love. We are so appreciative to have someone so kind care for our babies while we were gone.”

“She did not lie when she said she was “The Cat Lady” lol. She was amazing to our 2 fur babies and welcomed them in and treated like her own. She communicated very well, she didn’t judge when I came in with instructions on their feeling schedule lol and she was very sweet. A great experience overall. Thank you”

“Lauren did a fantastic job! She kept me up to date with notes and pictures of my cats so I could see how they were doing. And most importantly, my cats really trusted and enjoyed having her over! Would definitely recommend Lauren to anyone with cats!”

“Brittney was absolutely amazing! I was actually a little nervous because normally my babies are self sufficient. This time I needed a little help and Brittney was so much more. Very communicative!!!! I got lots of pictures of my little ones daily and she took excellent care of them!! Definitely going to book again!!!!!!!!!”

“Kasey did an outstanding job caring for our two cats for eight days while we were on vacation. She always sent a picture upon completing her daily visit. Our trip was much more enjoyable knowing that our cats were so well taken care of while we were away.”
