“Larrona and her parents are loving & caring. My Trudie really enjoys being at her place. She is flexible and accommodating. I’ve booked multiple stays and each time exceeds my expectations. She’s a keeper!”

“Our two little dogs spent over 2 weeks with Misty and her family. Misty updated us and sent photos daily, and the dogs had a great time. One is older with Cushing's disease, needing special care and meds, and Misty was great in taking good care of her. Our little dogs were happy, looking out the windows, playing in the yard, going for walks, and being loved. It was a great experience and we plan to use Misty again on future trips.”

“Bryan watched my too dogs and they had the time of their lifes! He kept me updated the whole time and sent pictures and he gave them baths And De-shedded them (as much as he could, my dogs have A LOT of hair) He was worth every penny and I Will definitely use him again! Best experience! You won't regret it! Highly highly recommend!”

“We absolutely love working with Linda & Dwight. They’ve watched our dogs multiple times now, and every stay has been fantastic. Our pups are always excited to see them and come home happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. Communication is great — we always get the right amount of updates and photos, which gives us so much peace of mind while we’re away. They follow instructions perfectly and truly go above and beyond every time.”

“Gustavo, thanks for taking the time to get to know Taz, welcoming him in your home, and taking great care of him. He was so calm, relaxed, and happy when we picked him up. Your updates and birthday party pics were heartwarming 💕”

“Katie was so great and accommodating to my last minute request when another sitter left me stranded 2 days before giving birth. My Remy had a great time with her and her family!”

“Such an amazing dog sitter! Leah helped watch Obie for the week we were out of town and helped him whether a snow storm while communicating with us the whole time. Sent pictures and updates regularly and very responsive to messages. Thank you so much and will definitely ask her to help with Obie if we need to go out of town again!”
“Melanie was great. This was our first experience using a dog sitter and I'm not sure how it could have gone much better. We will use her every time we need this service.”

About: I have always had a dog and cat in my life (and still do!). I have been using Rover for two years and I don't seem to want to stop anytime soon. I have trained two golden retrievers and walked a lot of puppies, senior dogs and many ages in-between. One of my own dogs was awarded canine good citizenship before my children were born. I love being around animals and I have a caring nature. Now that my kids are getting older, it fits my need to get exercise and bring some joy into my life. I would love to give your pet some snuggles, snacks and I am always mindful to send lots of photos to ensure you can relax while you are away. I know that is what I would want as a pet owner. Some people think you have to either be a "dog person" or a "cat person". Not me! They both have a place in my heart for very different reasons. Cats take some time, but I love their comforting purr, the playfulness of spunky kittens or just petting their soft fur. Some owners simply just someone they can trust for a check-in. I am happy to provide the details needed so you can be OK while you are away. I am typically available in the afternoons as long as I don’t have a meeting scheduled (I work from home) and most evenings are available. Weekends are the best time to book care if you will be out for soccer games, dinner or long evening plans. I have kids as well and I have used Rover for 6+ years on my own pets. I am excited to return the favor to you now that my kids are older. I have used crates with my own pets during training and I will follow whatever safety instructions are needed. I understand all collars, how to avoid run ins with feisty dogs and other concerns you may have. I know how to troubleshoot dogs that like to find hiding spots or have the ability to slip out of the door. I am 40+ and I am raising tweens at this point, so I have a little wisdom under me that other walkers may not have at this point. I am also trustworthy. I have a great full-time job coupled with flexibility. I just want to combine my love of pets with a little extra income.

“10/10. Communication was great, my dog seems to have had a great time. Plus NaNa was very accommodating considering I booked last minute. Thanks again!”

“Rachel did a wonderful job taking of Patrick while I was on vacation. Great communication throughout and I felt very confident and safe that Patrick was well looked after. Thank you!”

“Cait and her family have taken such great care of Teddy a few times now. We know he has a blast there with their sweet pup Honey and is given lots of love. Cait is great with communication and always sends daily updates.”

“Myndee and family were great with our older dog. Lovely updates to keep us connected. Super understanding when we had a delayed return They are our Go To family for doggie boarding.”

“Our doggie, Carmen, had a blast spending the weekend at Debbie’s house. He was very excited to see her when we dropped him off and he loved playing with her pups that are 6 months younger than him. She is his favorite Rover sitter”

“Initially, I was very apprehensive about leaving Bentley with a stranger. However, Ebony was REALLY great! She constantly put my mind at ease with regular photos and updates. Her service was way above what I expected. I will be referring every doggie mom I know. Ebony was so amazing that I am having difficulty putting into words how wonderful she was!”

Katie was an absolute fantastic dog sitter! We left our energetic pup with her and she took such wonderful care of her. From the very first meet-and-greet, Katie was warm, professional, and clearly passionate about dogs. Throughout the stay, Katie sent the most delightful updates and photos of her playing. It was so reassuring to see how relaxed and happy she looked in all the pictures. Our dog came home well-cared for, more relaxed and content. Katie clearly went above and beyond. We felt completely at ease knowing she was in such caring, responsible hands. We would (and will!) book Katie again in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, loving sitter who treats your dog like her own, look no further. Katie is the best! Thank you so much!! 🐾❤️ Highly recommend — 10/10 would trust her with our fur baby again!

My German Shepherd was cared for and loved on the whole time she was in Nuriya’s care. I got updates throughout Eris’ stay. I was worried my dog was not going to handle staying at someone else’s home very well, while I was out of town, but she did amazing. Eris was spoiled and was living in luxury as she deserved. I will book again the next time I need the service.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
