After saying goodbye to my own beloved dog of 12 years about a year and a half ago, I’m not quite ready for another full-time pet, but I love spending time with dogs and regularly care for friends’ and family’s pups. About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. Neighbors always looked to me as a trustworthy caretaker. Even when I moved to a new state on my own, I was able to build a consistent clientele that could always count on me. I worked at a dog daycare/boarding center for 3 years, became certified to groom dogs, done baths, nails, walks, and stayed at people’s homes (including boats)! I am currently working on training my own dog. I begin my work day early in the morning and am done by 11:30am or 1pm, which leaves lots of time to care for your pet! About: I had a dog growing up (Hershey) and helped take care of him. And I have always enjoyed playing with friends' and family's dogs. I absolutely love walking and being outside and would love canine companions to encourage me to do it more! I've hosted one friend's dog at my place already (see pics; that's Georgia sleeping on her little doggy mat in my living room). Overall, lifelong love of dogs + good head on my shoulders = strong instinct for what they need and when. I work from home, and other than a few set calls, I set my own schedule. And I work from a treadmill desk — so when I say I love walking, I mean it! I take frequent breaks to get sunshine and exercise outdoors, so you can expect your dog to get the same! I can keep an eye on your dogs the entire time I have them! I have a fenced-in, upstairs deck (with a staircase that can be easily blocked). And a backyard that is NOT fenced, but where I could tie a leash around one of the deck supports, so your dog can be outdoors as much as they want! Inside, I have a fully hard, vinyl floor upstairs and a carpeted area downstairs, with vinyl flooring in the downstairs kitchen as well. So whichever surface your dog likes to sit on, I can accommodate!

About: My dogs are like my children, and I treat other peoples' dogs the same way. I have had dogs growing up and currently have two. Two of our seniors have recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and we miss them dearly. In addition to clients through Rover, I have done dog-sitting for friends and neighbors with great success. I make sure dogs in my care have plenty of companionship and exercise. I believe in rewarding dogs for good behavior rather than punishing them for doing something wrong. I do work full time as a teacher but can am home in summers, and my husband works from home most days. For boarding, we have a dog door and a fenced in yard, so your pet can roam freely if you choose. We would just need to make sure our dogs all get along! I adore dogs and will shower yours with attention. Dogs in my care get very spoiled with lots of love! I’m a teacher, so I have more time in the summer but do have evening and weekend availability during the school year. If you choose to board, your pet will have 24/7 access to the yard through our dog door! My husband works from home most days with the exception of Wednesdays, so there is almost always someone home with your pet unless we are gone for activities with our kids. I have a fenced in yard, a dog door, and a friendly dog. If your dog is used to having free reign of the house when you’re gone, that will be the case at our house as well, and they will have access to the yard through the dog door. The door does have the ability to lock if escaping the yard is a concern. If your dog doesn’t learn the dog door, we will ensure they are able to get outside plenty. We will also respect any requests to crate during the day or at night.

About: I took many online classes on proper safety for boarding/ daycare with multiple dogs. You want someone active and fun, who loves dogs unconditionally? I'm your gal. Walks, games, positive reinforcement training and mental exercise are all included in my time. I'm a creature of routine. My house gets up at 6am sharp. We like structure and in the dog world, you can't function without it. I used to work for a dog daycare and because I feel so strongly about the safety of dogs, I'd prefer small, safe groups over large groups that are no good for your dogs health. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have owned and cared for dogs every step of the way. After saying goodbye to my own beloved dog of 12 years about a year and a half ago, I’m not quite ready for another full-time pet, but I love spending time with dogs and regularly care for friends’ and family’s pups. I also grew up around horses, where I learned responsibility, animal behavior, and basic first aid and medical care. My home is a quiet, one-story ranch with a fully fenced backyard, no other pets, and plenty of space for dogs to relax and play. I work from home two days a week and am committed to providing a safe, comfortable environment with lots of attention, updates, and affection so you can feel confident while you’re away. I have a consistent weekly routine and work in the office Monday–Wednesday and from home Thursday–Friday. My schedule is predictable, which helps dogs settle in and feel comfortable. While I occasionally have weekend plans, I plan my schedule around my bookings and make sure the pets in my care receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a quiet, one-story home with a fully fenced backyard and no other pets, allowing me to provide individualized care and attention. I can easily limit access to different areas of the house if needed, creating a safe environment for dogs with different personalities or energy levels. I’ll follow your routines and instructions closely and provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pup is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.
