“Cara provided daily drop in visits for our two kitties while we were away. She did a wonderful job! She and her kiddos came daily (which we had discussed/approved ahead of time) during the requested time frame each day. Daily pics and updates were sent. The kitties were fed, played with and well loved while we were gone. And the one that usually hides with strangers even came out to play on occasion. The litter boxes were kept clean as requested and she was great about cleaning up a mess or two when the kitties started getting homesick. About: I have always had cats growing up. I have cat sat for a few friends and their families when they go out of town. Meeting new cats/kittens is always fun because they have so many different personalities. From the stray kittens that showed up when I was younger to my angel girl of 14 years, I've cared for cats/kittens of all ages. I have always had a connection with cats too. One time at a family friends house I picked up their cat to hold her and the family was shocked because she never let anyone do that. Super comfortable following detailed care instructions, maintaining feeding and medication schedules when needed, managing puppy potty breaks and exercise, and providing the same attention (and cuddles) for kitties. About: My dogs are like my children, and I treat other peoples' dogs the same way. I have had dogs growing up and currently have two. Two of our seniors have recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and we miss them dearly. In addition to clients through Rover, I have done dog-sitting for friends and neighbors with great success. I make sure dogs in my care have plenty of companionship and exercise. I believe in rewarding dogs for good behavior rather than punishing them for doing something wrong. I do work full time as a teacher but am home in summers, and my husband works from home most days. If I’m visiting or staying at your house, there is a possibility I would need to bring my children (ages 9 and 7) with me depending on my husband’s schedule, so they would get lots of attention! For boarding, we have a dog door and a fenced in yard, so your pet can roam freely if you choose. We would just need to make sure our dogs all get along! I adore dogs and will shower yours with attention. Dogs in my care get very spoiled with lots of love! I’m a teacher, so I have more time in the summer but do have evening and weekend availability during the school year. If you choose to board, your pet will have 24/7 access to the yard through our dog door! My husband works from home most days with the exception of Wednesdays, so there is almost always someone home with your pet unless we are gone for activities with our kids. I have a fenced in yard, a dog door, and a friendly dog. If your dog is used to having free reign of the house when you’re gone, that will be the case at our house as well, and they will have access to the yard through the dog door. The door does have the ability to lock if escaping the yard is a concern. If your dog doesn’t learn the dog door, we will ensure they are able to get outside plenty. We will also respect any requests to crate during the day or at night.

And a backyard that is NOT fenced, but where I could tie a leash around one of the deck supports, so your dog can be outdoors as much as they want! Inside, I have a fully hard, vinyl floor upstairs and a carpeted area downstairs, with vinyl flooring in the downstairs kitchen as well. So whichever surface your dog likes to sit on, I can accommodate!

About: I’ve worked at a pet store for over 2 years, and I’ve been a dog bather for about half a year. I’ve always had pets my whole life but i’ve learned so much about our fur babies in the past few years. When I watch my sister & brother in-laws dogs I take them for walks twice a day and we play & cuddle. I work on tricks with them too. I normally use their dry food as treats if we work on tricks for a while.

“I was really nervous about using this service since it's my first time. But Nicole got back to me right away, we set up a meet and greet that went well. I got to meet the family and her other dogs. Hendrix was at ease very quickly, so I booked the stay with her. I was still very nervous about leaving my dog for the long weekend while we were away, but it seemed like he was having a lot of fun! She sent pictures of him looking VERY happy. He definitely looked like he was making himself at home. He loves kids, so not surprised to see him snuggling with her son. They were very flexible with my schedule and need for a late pick-up and stayed in constant contact with me throughout our time away. Would definitely book with Nicole and family again. I think Hendrix is already missing his new friends and all the play time he got to enjoy while we were gone.”
