“I would give Leah 10 stars if I could!!!! This was my first time using service. I didn’t know what to expect. She made the process super simple. She was way absolutely amazing with my 3 dogs. My very old, very very needy Weimaraner dude barked all night the first night. Unfazed she invited him into her bedroom. Still barking, she calmed him and soothed him all night. She’s excellent with all the dogs in her care. I have found our only sitter going forward. 100% would recommend! 10 stars!!!”

“I rarely leave my dog but I had an occasion where I had to find a dog sitter. I reached out to Laronna and she was willing to take care of my dog. I can not thank Laronna enough because he is a senior dog with anxiety and was not easy to care for yet she was still compassionate with my dog and worked hard to calm him. She is a true dog lover who will take good care of your dog.”

“Francie is wonderful! She is very responsive and flexible. She provided updates and pictures everyday we were gone. Our pup, Tanner, had a great time with Francie and playing with new friends. We would definitely recommend her and will be taking Tanner to her again!”

“Jennifer is so wonderful! She eased our minds by caring for our senior dog who has a couple peculiarities with his required care. Cosmo came home more relaxed and rested than any other time he has been away from us. We will hire Jennifer again very soon!”

“I have left both of my dogs with Katie many many times in the last year and a half and I’m always so happy with how she treats them. They see her and run to her!”

“Cait & her family went above and beyond while hosting my two dogs. She made me feel at ease from the first communication and throughout their entire stay. They came home happy and exhausted. They are looking forward to next time!”

“Cynthia and Robert were great taking care of my doggies. Cynthia is very responsive and makes sure all the dogs needs are met. She’s great in sending photos and updates every day. Her family is great also. I can tell that my dogs had a good time. I will definitely be using their boarding services again.”

“Raina was fantastic, she sent many photos/videos and my dog looked like she was having a great time playing with other dogs, going for walks, or just hanging out. She always answered quickly whenever I had a question also. I would highly recommend her for a pet sitter!”

“Linda was so communicative and wonderful the entire time she cared for my blind dog and my dog with anxiety. I’ve never left them with someone and felt so much peace of mind. I will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you, Linda!”

“I highly recommend Sonya and her family for pet sitting! I recently left my dog, Macario, with them while I was away camping for several days, and they took excellent care of him. It was clear from the updates and photos that he was comfortable, well-loved, and treated like part of the family. When I picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly had a great stay. They were easy to communicate with, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure both Macario and I felt comfortable throughout the experience. As a dog mom, having peace of mind while you're away is priceless, and that's exactly what they provided. I'll definitely be using them again in the future. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Macario!”

“Great person, great vibes, great care. I can’t thank them enough for watching my dog! They treated her like family, followed all instructions, and even sent pictures every day. I could tell my pup was truly comfortable, happy, safe, and well-loved. Highly recommend! and definitely book with them again.”

“Asia was so sweet and professional. When we first arrived Asia and her fur baby Crypto welcome us. Asia made my lil boy (Biskit) feel so at home. I asked Asia to send me text, pictures, and videos, and she did just that. That really made my heart fill of joy to see pictures and videos of my lil boy(Biskit) and to know that he was well taken care of. We thank you so much Asia from the bottom of our hearts 💕 Sylvia and Antwon Dudley.”

“Laura took excellent care of our pup! I could tell that she was cared for as part of their family. Laura provided daily photo updates so we knew she was cared for. I would highly recommend and will use her again!”

“Gustavo was amazing! He sent us plenty of pictures and videos to keep us updated and to make sure our dog was happy and comfortable the entire time. He took her on daily walks and gave her plenty of time to play and run in the yard. We will absolutely reach out to him again whenever we need someone to watch our dog! Highly recommend Gustavo!!”

“Rachel, Katee and their family were so welcoming to our sweet Kiya! This was the longest trip we’ve been on without her and I felt so much ease knowing they were taking care and loving on her like she was their own. They sent updates everyday and lots of pictures! She loved getting to play with their dog, Rudy and their daughter. We would definitely book with them again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bridgeton
The moment I brought my little Havanese girl Jessie for a pre-stay visit. to see if she and Laronna would be a good fit, I knew I had struck gold. Jessie is the center of my world and I would not even consider leaving her anywhere or with anyone where she would not feel completely at home. Jessie was ready to stay as soon as she met Laronna, her mom and their own dog, so I was content dropping her off for a week long vacation. Laronna sent me photos of Jessie playing in the fenced yard, eating and sleeping on her new auntie's lap to make sure I wouldn't worry. I enjoyed my holiday, knowing my little best friend was being lovingly cared for, even if I was a bit jealous. Fortunately, she was happy to see me when I picked her up and I know I can book future travels knowing I now have the perfect home away from home for my treasured (and spoiled) little girl. Any dog owner searching for a sitter should start with Laronna and i wouldi be shocked if they saw the need to shop around further.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Bridgeton home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Bridgeton.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
