Hello STL pet parents! I am new to Rover but I've taken care of all ages, sizes, and various breeds of dogs since I was young, ranging from Chihuahuas to 110 lb Bouviers. My husband (former dog trainer) and I are the proud dog parents of two friendly rescue chihuahua mixes and we take them everywhere with us when we can and consider them to be our family. We have also had the privilege of caring for a rescue pittie who was skittish around other dogs at first, and a pug lab mix who never met a stranger. I nursed one of my current rescues through heartworm treatment after first adopting her and saw our pug lab mix through chemo when she was diagnosed with lymphoma. I take the care and love of dogs very seriously and believe we owe them the utmost respect. It would be my honor to apply that same philosophy of care and compassion (and fun!) with your beloved family member.

Sarah is a very responsive and attentive sitter! We have an anxious, medium-sized dog, and she’s taken to Sarah very quickly. Sarah sends detailed updates and we’re excited to have her continue dropping in on Hazel.
I work as medic for some 24 hours shift, so I had Sarah helped me out take care of abbey overnight while I was gone. She gave abbey lots of attention and put lots of efforts in. Highly recommended.
Sarah is the best with animals! She has cared for dogs for years and always put them first before herself. Her partner is a dog trainer so Sarah has also learned so many ways to work with different pet personalities. She is reliable and I can count on her to help me with my 3 dogs that are quite characters. I have recommended her to my family, friends, and now to everyone on rover!
Sarah was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of my pet and made the entire experience stress-free from start to finish. Communication was excellent, with regular updates and photos that gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. You can truly tell she cares deeply about animals and treats them like her own. My pets came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. She has become one of their top favorite humans. Schedule
I can be available any day of the week, though I prefer notice for weekends. Overall however I can be flexible! If the service is a walk I would prefer that to take place before 6:30 p.m.

Safety, trust & environment
My yard is fenced in with a privacy fence and if I let dogs into the yard I am always out there with them the entire time. I have two small dogs who are friendly and enjoy gentle playing with others. I'm also comfortable visiting in your home or taking your doggo out on an adventure.

A typical day
There are multiple parks near my house if your dog is in the mood for an adventure. If they are more into toys and games I would love to engage with them. If they prefer quiet snuggles, I am happy to oblige! Most importantly I want to hear from you as the parent what your dog enjoys most
