Experienced Animal Lover 🐕
Hello! I grew up in an animal loving family and this has continued into my life as an adult. I am a licensed child therapist and provide animal care in my off hours! I foster dogs through Stray Rescue/Stray Paws and also work part time at a wildlife clinic. My dog is my best friend, and I intend to treat yours as I'd hope someone would mine. I can't wait to give your pets lots of love.

Katie is amazing with my pets! She takes time to play with them every time she visits. I have a senior diabetic dog, and she works her magic and gets him to eat every time. She gives him his insulin shot, and I know he’s in great hands. It’s hard for me to find people who my senior dog will warm up to, and let them give him his injection. She does an amazing job taking care of him. She gives my dogs so much love and I appreciate her communication and report cards and photos! I can’t recommend her enough!
I was able to fully enjoy my vacation knowing my cats were in great hands with Katie! This is the second time she has house and pet sit and I’ll definitely be reaching out again in the future.
Katie looked after my 3 cats for drop in visits and was excellent! She was able to do medicine for the little one and everyone was happy when I got home.
Katie looked after my three babies very attentively, communication was great, would definitely use her again for cat sitting!
Katie was AMAZING. It’s never fun leaving your pet behind for a couple of days, but we felt so comfortable with Milo there and he seemed to be right at home. We got plenty pictures and updates while we were away and he came home a happy dog!! :)
I moved to STL and had to travel less than a week later. My cat was unusually a bit skittish in a new place amongst a bunch of boxes. Katie came through for me on very short notice and made me feel comfortable that she had my buddy covered. Thank you Katie!

Schedule
Please note: I work full time during the week in the school year (8am-4:45pm). In the summer I have full flexibility. If you are requesting drop ins during week daytime hours Aug-May I will likely be unavailable.

Safety, trust & environment
If I care for your pet in my home I will provide a large fenced yard for playing and a safe neighborhood with a park in walking distance. I have a 8 year old Catahoula mix who will be here. She is gentle and kind with other dogs. She prefers dogs who respect her boundaries but gets along with just about every dog. In the rare case a dog is ever not a match for my dog and I am boarding, I will take her to my parents’ home to ensure comfort of your pet. Eva is not a cat gal, so boarding for cats is not a service I provide, but I can watch them in your home! It can be scary to trust others with your pet so I am quick to communicate, send pics and updates to ensure your pet is in safe, loving hands.

A typical day
A typical day involves play time outside, treats, toys, walks if requested, cuddling on the couch, etc! Of course all depending on your dog's likes and needs.
